Maybe I look shady, but it happens to me every time I go there. Someone from a group I belong to mentioned that the owner will buy just about anything 'antique' so I brought in three items / signs to hang on the wall. One was a Budweiser glass bar sign that needed cleaning, one was a fabric map of Long Island that also needed cleaning and one was a large nautical themed item with TITANIC on it. The owner said with the cleaning involved he could give me $30 for all three. My late husband acquired these so I had no idea what they were worth, I counted on being give a fair price. I went into the store today and there was the Titanic sign hanging up with a price of $175 needless to say I was not pleased and left without the item I had intended to buy. So if you're looking for a bargain you may get it there but I'd caution anyone to be careful about selling anything there. I take full responsibility for not doing more research and being too trusting
