Yay for a Four Sons tasting room right on Main St in Huntington Beach!! Went to main this past weekend and stumbled upon Four Sons, which is nicely located on a corner a few blocks from the beach. They have an inviting patio area and it was pretty crowded. We had to try since it was somewhere new! I've had Four Sons before and enjoyed their beer so I was excited to try out this location. They have a variety of different types of beers, I tried 2 of the IPAs, the peach one and the one with the word "pier" in it, I forgot the actual name. Both were good IPAs! I liked the peach one since it was still nice and hoppy with a slight peach flavor to it. Someone I was with tried the boysenberry seltzer, which was refreshing. We didn't order food, but they do have a small menu, stadium nachos (chips with a side of cheese and jalapeños) and a giant pretzel. If we were hungry then I wanted to try the pretzel but we only got drinks. Hopefully I'll get to try it next time!

Just moved into the area by the pier, stopped by for a quick try on their stout Nightmare on Gothard St. Great chocolate aftertaste and easy drinking on a windy day in HB. Great service from Tony, will be back again and also will try the main brewery in the near futur

It was nice to see Four Sons Brewing finally having a presence on Main St. As always, we got the Nightmare Stout. Smooth and quenching on this hot day. Nice corner spot too.

Horrible service.

Horrible service. This chick literally wouldn't even stop scrolling and look up from her phone while people were talking to her trying to order. So completely rude. We used to love the other location but this one doesn't compare. Beer wasn't even that cold.

Great vibes

Four sons is a great brewery. I was stoked to find they moved their pacific city location to Main Street. If you are looking for great beer and vibes, this is the spot to be. I highly recommend this location.

Really good.

Really nice setting.seating right against the street. Pretty nice vibes. Can't remember the name of my ipa but it was really good, number 9 I think. And the left is a sour. I don't remember the number but recommended and pretty good also. Will definitely be back

Small little brewery, decent selection of beers. A little cramped in there if it's crowded but easy for a quick drink.

Fun little brewery off Main Street! Friendly staff and nice patio. Can bring your lunch and enjoy a beer! I got the Sour K and it was great.

You can't count on them being open. They post hours but you might head over there and they'll be closed.

Love this place and the service. Miss the little doggie for some free pets but still a great time and brews!

You could put Four Sons on any street and it'd be great :) Consistently good service and beers (duh) no matter what location.

I went to their main brewery last week and my friend and I wanted to try this spot in the heart of Huntington Beach.

We got three of the slices our waiter recommended: Stay loose, Haole, sauce addiction, and mo honey mo problems. We loved that they had Detroit slices as well as the normal thin crust. The crust on the Detroit slice is light and airy even though it looks super thick like a focaccia slice. Although we liked the Detroit slice the thin pies were definitely our favorites. The crust isn't tough and was a good balance of crispy and fluffy. I thought the Stay Loose, Haole was a bit too salty and could have used more pineapple but the Sauce Addiction was amazing. Overall, I will 100% be back to try more slices and their appetizers! Ratings Stay Loose, Haole: 4/5 Sauce Addiction: 5/5 Mo Honey Mo Problems: 4.5/5

The Highlights: * The Food: They have some of the best pizza, mozzarella sticks, and even the Coke tastes better here. Even the chicken wings are solid. The taste and quality of the food are consistently high. * The Vibe: The environment is really unique and the service is always cool. It's a great local spot. * Logistics: Parking can be a bit of a struggle, but I've never had a major issue other than the line being long--which just goes to show how popular it is. The Only Critique: My only issue is that something in their ingredients routinely makes me feel unwell. I'm not sure exactly what it is--it's not just standard grease--but every time I eat it after taking a week off, I feel pretty bad for about 3 hours afterward. I suspect it might be a specific chemical or something like monosodium glutamate (MSG), but the food is so good that I honestly end up eating it anyway. Final Thoughts: If you can handle whatever "mystery ingredient" is in there, it's a 5-star experience. I'll keep coming back for the flavor alone!

The huge outdoor patio is a big win -- plenty of space to relax and hang out, and it gives the place a laid-back, social feel. It gets lively, but in a good way. Staff was friendly and welcoming. It's a smaller brewery in terms of size, so there wasn't much indoor seating, but they make up for it with a large outdoor seating area in the parking lot, which was a nice bonus. I can't remember the exact beer I ordered, but it was a light, fruity, crisp beer that I enjoyed. In terms of variety, the brewery seemed to focus more on lighter and hoppier beers. There weren't many IPA options or darker beers available. The smash burgers were delicious. I ordered the original smash burger and it definitely did not disappoint. I feel like a lot of places offer smash burgers nowadays but don't execute them well -- either you can't taste the beef or they overload it with cheese and sauce. Here, everything felt balanced. The beef had a great grilled crispiness to it, and the flavors all came through nicely. The tater tots were also really good, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Parking can be a bit difficult. They share a small lot with other businesses, so it fills up quickly. You'll probably need to find street parking nearby, and there isn't a ton of it available either.
