I have been going to 4 Seasons cleaners for 20 years. I've had several items altered and hundreds of dry cleaning. Most recently I needed the straps in my dog's coat to be moved. I removed the straps myself and re-pinned them where they needed to be. I picked up the coat today and the straps were sewn in the exact place I removed them from! The receptionist, who has never been friendly, nor courteous, refused to discuss or believe she or the seamstress made a mistake. I will never go back! I caution anyone from trusting this business establishment! The seamstress is also not very friendly, and I always stressed. She acts as if one's needs are a burden to her already busy schedule. The owners used to be on premises but are now never present. I encourage them to be present to remind their employees common courtesy and customer service! read more

I brought a grenadine silk tie with a balsamic vinegar stain to your business, treated with cornstarch as an immediate step. I asked if you could handle high-end ties and was told it was no problem. However, your staff informed me the tie was put through a standard cleaning process, which permanently set the stain. I have recordings of conversations where I explained the issue and received unprofessional responses, including being hung up on. Due to the improper cleaning, the tie is ruined. The business also snagged my tie, so it has silk threads hanging out. I requested a refund or replacement for the tie, but management was argumentative. read more

This time, I was taken aback by the extremely inflated price, which was not mentioned prior to the alteration. Upon bringing this up with management, they were only willing to give me 10% off. I even called around for pricing, after the fact, and State Street Cleaners was off the charts with this alteration. They did a beautiful job, but way too pricey, especially since finding out from two other reputable cleaners that I was over charged. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I brought in my white winter comforter to be cleaned in July. I picked it up in a clear plastic carry case. As it was my winter comforter (which was a wedding gift) I didn't open it until November when I discovered it was NOT my comforter, it did not fit my duvet. Not only did they misplace my silk blouse (coded wrong on order) so I waited for 15 min while they searched for it. they returned my suede jacket which was in almost perfect condition, with a coat that had black stains everywhere along with color fading (yes, maybe that part is possible due to the die fading) The lady on Saturday said I needed to go back on Monday to discuss my issue. I brought the jacket back today (taking time out of my work day) and asked for a simple refund of the CLEANING FEE $100. I did not ask for the $400 which was the cost of the jacket. I had a bridesmaid dress that had a few stains on it that needed to be removed. The wedding is in a few weeks. I brought the dress on a Sunday where the owner/ manager wasn't in. They were unable to give me an estimate however, they got my information and would let me know on Monday. They called me right when they opened on Monday with an estimate and let me know the dress would be ready by Wednesday. The stains got out and the dress looks gorgeous. I dropped off 2 dresses for dry cleaning. One dress needed dry cleaning and alterations. I specifically stated to the receptionist, that the dress for alterations, needed 3 alterations and dry cleaning. When I picked the dress up a 2 days before we needed it, the dress only had 2 alterations and had not been dry cleaned. I called the following day and they stated that the receptionist only stated 2 alterations with no dry cleaning. I said that it was a communication error with the receptionist and that I needed at least the dress to be dry cleaned fast within 24 hours but the seemstress stated they can't do that even though it was a mistake made by them. I will never go back to this place as they don't seem to take directions very well and will make it your fault for the mistake. They didn't even try to keep me as a customer or to assist with the need even though we paid for an expensive alteration that was not even professionally done correctly. read more

Go to any other cleaners but Four Seasons. They ruined multiple items of clothing -- including several items I treasured, and which had been dry cleaned many times elsewhere without incident. Two sweaters were completely destroyed, shrunken to a quarter of their original size. Even worse, when presented with the obvious error, the staff was rude, combative and unhelpful -- and after claiming they could restore the clothes to their original condition, took the clothes back and ghosted me. Seriously considering taking them to small claims court at this point. And will definitely be reporting them to the BBB. read more

I am sooo upset with place and the owner. I brought in a totally brand new in the package still beautiful expensive off whote comforter set to have dry cleaned because of Covid-19 a year ago now. When I came into pickup my comforter set. They gave me a dingy old comforter which was not my brand new set. I made the problem aware to the owner once this happened. He never did anything to replace restore or pay for my comforter set. Whether they lost it and gave it to someone else or someone stole it, he is responsible and now i am taking him to Small Claims court, reporting him to Better Business Bureau,, State office of California Attorney General and CFPB about this matter. No one wants to go into a business and trust them with their property and they return to you garbage and act like it's your fault. You know what you purchased and gave to them to Clean only not Steal! I will not allow this with my property. Eveytime I go to change my linen I am reminded of this. I had to go to my own bank to get my money back because he do anything. I wasn't going to pay him to steal my property. I went to him first out of respect I recently went again left message, made calls and all to no avail. He and his company should be held accountable as a business for its service or product to his customers. I have a video I made when I went to pick up my comforter set and they tried to give me an old dingy used to be white comforter as mine. I made it because I was so shocked and upset. It was a very bad experience and I will never go there again. I brought five pieces of clothes to dry cleaning, one of which is a Giorgio Armani suit vest that has been ironed and scorched. The merchant says it is not broken, but it should be like this. I also have a piece of the same dress bought by a friend. As soon as I compare the two, I find that my clothes look like old clothes. I'm not sure if this dry cleaners has changed owners, but the service and quality of work is now awful. There seems to be the same woman at the counter each time I've come in and she is incredible rude and combative but in a passive aggressive obnoxious way. I brought in two pairs of pants that have never been worn for a hem and she, observing lint from other clothes they have been in storage with, acted like they were covered in human excrement and pushed them back to me saying "these have to be washed". Surely, her attitude was influenced by my beginning our conversation with my explaining how the last pair of new expensive jeans I had brought to them to be hemmed were too short and the seamstress left no margin to correct it (I donated them and never wore them). I mentioned it, just to ask that she leave margin this time. She said no, we do it how the customer wants (clearly not do, given she was refusing to to it how I asked). Well, my inseam is always the same and somehow they got it wrong by 1/2 inch. She seem completely unphased that they had ruined my pants. I go here because it is close to we're I work, but never again. I now understand why it is always empty when it used to be bustling. Terrible business run by a woman who had no business in the service industry. Response: there was nothing left to let down otherwise I would have. I brought it up because I wanted to make sure these were done with more leeway. I wasn't asking for anything and acknowledged I should have had tried them on for the hem. She was most concerned with making sure I knew it was my fault. Also, there were no hairs on the pants. They were opened last Christmas and put in a Tupperware with other clothes only to be pulled out when bringing them to you. I own no pets and have very short hair. There was simply lint picked up from other clothes. They looked like they had just come off the sales floor. Having me take them back to wash them was just her way of inconveniencing me for having brought up the aforementioned issue. It was quiet clear. I was polite the entire interaction. I have a longtime retail business of over 55 years in Ventura. I treat folks at the counter with respect and I also know when someone is being unreasonable and caddy. They just opened a store in Santa Barbara under Turnpike cleaners. I had the worst experience in any retail store. They lost two shirts and denied i had given them to them. I've been a customer of this place for 6 years, and I used them because of customer service, convenience, coupons, and their online app. Over the last 6 months, I've received someone else's clothes, and had clothes not be placed in my pickup order. With these two issues they were all corrected quickly. Recently, I dropped off a large order, 10 pieces of clothing. I picked them up on a Saturday afternoon, and sorted them out at home on a Sunday. I found that I was missing two dresses. I felt "no big deal" I'll contact them when they are open and they'll be there. I also checked my order with their online app, to confirm what I had not received. When bringing this issue to them, I was blamed for them missing. They completely didn't take responsibility. There was no customer service. There was no social niceties. Over and over again, i was told, "they are not here," and "I don't know what to tell you." Upon second visit, I brought back all the tags on my laundry dry bags, to show I was missing one. I was met with the same coldness. This super sucks, I've been a customer here for years. I had a casual dialog with the people that work there. And also, they are my neighbors. I'm beyond disappointed. Eventually my dresses were found, on premises.
