Stopped at Hitch King to have an RV propane tank refilled. My tank is a 7.5 gallon tank that…read morealways takes about 7.1 gallons to fill from empty (I've had it filled dozens of times). Propane prices right now range from about $2.80 to $3.20 across the entire US (which I've just driven - filling up along the way), so my tank always costs $20-$23 to fill from empty. The owner walked out to the propane shed, hooked the filler up to my tank, opened the valve, and started filling. (He didn't open the bleed valve on my tank at all - which would show when my tank was getting full.) He kept the doors to the filling station almost closed, and kept his body between me and any view of the meter. I moved aside to try to see the meter, and he moved again to block me. After a couple minutes, he shut off the pump, unhooked the fill hose, and closed the doors - being apparently extra careful to not let me see how much was dispensed. "That's thirty bucks even," he said. "We only take cash." and held out his hand. I handed him $30 cash, which he put into his pocket. No cash registers, no receipt, (and therefore probably no taxes paid.) When I got back home, I confirmed that my tank was about 2/3 full, so I paid $30 cash for about $15 worth of propane. Shaaaady.

These guys are amazing. I was having mechanical issues... I had taken my car somewhere else. After…read morea week of them not getting to it. I called all keys. They were understanding, a Appoinment was made promptly.. Bob and Marley showed up, a fast diagnoses.. What I was pretty sure it was. (My alternator) He fixed it fast and only charged for the time it took him to do it. The usual hourly estimate for this job is three hours. But he said he could probably could get it done in two. And he did.. And only charged me for that. They were honest, upfront and professional. If I would have went to them in the first place, I would have saved myself so much hassle. They came to my house, and even gave me a ride to the library and dropped me off at the pool since they had to leave and go get a part for my car anyhow. So I relaxed pool side, and by the time I got home. My car was fixed.... A++++ for these guys. I would recommend them to anyone.

Keys Pro Mechanics were in Key West and made it back to Marathon at 7pm, fixed our vehicle and then drove it back to us so we didn't have to take a share ride to pick it up. Their pricing was incredibly reasonable and their service was perfect. So happy to know that there are honest mechanics here in Marathon!

Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced! Dropped my F350 off for oil change and tire…read morerotation. They were kind enough to provide shuttle service into Key West (5 minute travel) since they do not have a waiting room. They stated it would take 3 hours MAX and they would call with an updated time estimate and cost estimate. After 4 hours I texted them. No response. They finally responded and said it was done after 5 hours and they would send an Uber to pick me up. Then no response. I had to get my own Uber. When I showed up the bill was $250 more than any dealer ever charged for the service. I did not make a scene but left unhappy. The manger called me minutes after leaving and asked what he could do to correct the situation. Since I did inquire about new shocks for towing an RV- he stated he would take care of me and call me Monday with a quote. I have never heard from him again. Although they are 40 minutes from where I live in the Keys... I will drive all the way to Miami. Miami was very professional, courteous and most importantly- GREAT communication. Never again Key West Ford. Never again.

Called new car and got the answering machine again for a call back. Finally called the operator and got an answering service in Miami. I explained my problem and he said to just have the car towed to the Key West location and he would send an email explaining my problem so they would know all about it when it got there. Not 2 minutes later as I was arranging the tow Key West Ford called because they got the email and told me do not tow the car here we no longer work on cars older than 2010. Was told by a friend that a conglomerate now owns almost all the dealerships in Key West and service is the last thing they care about. Go ahead and call - nobody will answer and if they do they just want to sell you a car.
