Although funny, literally the drink wasnt salty as the drink titles itself. It tasted of sea salt caramel, a bit sweet but smoky. I cozied myself up on one of the tables seated by the view of Steilacoom. People nearby were on their laptops studying and working. Others stopped by to cozy up in their booths to talk and enjoy their coffee as they too waited for their ferry to arrive. The vibe was great. Overall, I will come back here again when im near the area. Felt comfortable, welcomed, and it wasnt overly packed.

I hadn't been there before and wanted a bagel and iced coffee. The girl working didn't offer suggestions, mention any unique drinks, ask if there was anything in particular and so we just sat there in silence as I was trying to read their menu which has items kind of all over the place. Then another lady came up and was much more personable, made convo and mentioned that they have frappe's, energy drinks etc. I love going to locally owned coffee shops bc there's usually some unique and crafty coffee but I didn't see anything like that on the menu so I went with an iced white chocolate americano w/ cream. I didn't see bagels on the menu so I didn't ask for it. The iced white chocolate americano was sad. The person who made it seems like they had no barista experience or just didn't care. The white chocolate powder wasn't even mixed in and was caked at the bottom of the cup. I tried to stir it in with my straw but that was sooooo freaking flimsy that it was bending every way possible so I couldn't actually stir anything. I then used my straw to try to scrape it from the bottom and sift my cup but then I just sipped up chunks of crunchy sugar powder. Overall, maybe if I'm really in a pinch, I'll go back but I'd rather spend the extra dollar and drive the extra 5 mins to go to gravity coffee or four petals.

I got their Toasted Toffee Nut coffee drink...in hot form. It totally hit the spot. The coffee and toffee blended together nicely and was perfect for a little pick me up as I was strolling around 6th Ave. I got a slice of Banana Nut Bread. Not bad, it wasn't bad at all. I have come across better and obsess over...not quite there with this one though. There were small gifts you could also purchase that you could get here too. Thinks like jewelry and they have some swag with their logo on it as well. Nice stop and worth seeking out again for sure!

The coffee is overpriced for the quality. No matter what I try, it just doesn't taste good and they charge like they're a cafe elite or something. For the food I've only had the quick deli sandwich , salad or fruit cup which again is overpriced for what you get. I was craving a bagel one day and starbucks was out so I figured they would have one. I walked in and they literally had one left. They had cream cheese in a tube packet and only gave one. I watched as they pulled a cold bagel out of the display case and put it in my bag. I asked if I could get it toasted and the barista told me that they don't have a toaster! I was shocked. They said I could just pull apart my cold bagel and put a dollop of cream cheese and it would taste fine. Like whaaat!? Who just eats a cold bagel??? Well, turns out I did because that's all I had for lunch. It was horrific eating a cold bagel and there wasn't even enough cream cheese in that squeeze tube for my bagel! Basically, will avoid this place at all costs.

After checking in, I would suggest waiting to go up as your whole party. I went up without my friend, who was in the restroom, and they, at first, wouldn't let her come up without another group needing to come up. I had all her things so I had no way of knowing and was waiting for her up on the rooftop for quite some time. The dinner was good. I tried the focaccia, feta dip and crostini, the braised short ribs, and the double chocolate skillet cookie. The foccacia was good but I wish there had been butter or maybe oil and vinegar. It was a bit plain on its own but my friend ate it with her lasagna so it worked out. I really enjoyed the feta dip. It was quite tasty. I know crostinis are supposed to be hard but I found it to be too hard. I really enjoyed the braised short ribs. The meat was tender and was well seasoned. I liked the mashed potatoes which weren't perfectly smooth which is something I prefer and there was a little bit of potato skin. I wish there had been just a tad more sauce for the potatoes. The double chocolate chiller cookie was so good especially if you're a fan of chocolate. It was rich but too sweet and the ice cream that came with it was delicious as well that was slightly coconutty. There is kind of a time limit for your reservation as they ask you to limit your time to 90 minutes on their website. We came on a Friday night and they had live music which was such a great vibe for the rooftop. Because you're outside, I would recommend bringing a coat or something just in case.
