I chose not to buy a plastic bag, but I expected the cashier to place my individually wrapped pastries into one paper bag, as they have done during my previous visits. Instead, I had to carry each one separately to my car. I don't know if it was because I didn't leave a tip, but it made me feel that way. It left me with a disappointing impression of the customer service.
