We went on the busiest day- St. Patty's Day and it was a vibe. As busy as it was, it was easy to park and easy to find a spot at the outside bar. The band was on point and we all had a fabulous time! The only critique I have is the bartenders were in slow motion. For a busy day, they didn't really work the crowd too well. Also, the only food option was a bratwurst with chips for about $15. This is what it first time at the location which is a gem in and of itself. Live music and a warm atmosphere. A lot of Irish history inside including pictures on the wall and the Irish traditional music. The bartender is amazing! We came for a Marine Corps Birthday celebration and it was great to see retirees and all! Such an amazing. The food was amazing came out hot and plated well. Amazing location and we are so glad to finally get to this location! This location, downtown Tampa, has the same feel as the (now gone) original. It's friendly, open and wonderful. Plenty of tables and a big bar. Dinner was the Seafood Mac and Cheese, which was phenomenally good-very cheesy with lobster and shrimp-absolutely delicious, and the Fried Fish and Chips. The fish was enormous and plenty of fries-also delicious. The Guinness is just like Ireland-they have separate coolers, their own lines for the beer-tastes like the Irish Guinness, not the imported draft. If you're a Guiness lover, this is the place to come. Magner is the cider on hand, along with a full bar. It was a wonderful meal, atmosphere, waiter was great....I would give it 10 stars if I could. read more

Centered at the connection point of Channelside and the new Gasworks district the location is perfect. Plenty of parking in front or in the side lot. Love the mural of the old pub on the front! They brought the history with them when they moved in the form of the front door and the bar - from there everything gets better and more fun for customers. There is a huge outdoor dining deck and a large beer Garden area that can also be used for private events as well as their regular indoor dining and live music. Try the Reuben and farmers lunch. I really, really like four green fields and frequented the Platt street location. The new channel side, aka under the selmon freeway, location. They did a great job of making the location seem like the old place. BUT, it's isolated, not adjacent to anything. But it has parking. The outside / covered patio is nice. Walk to the restroom was long. Great place to go to. I did not try the food, but three months ago I tried food at Curtis Hilton location and I was very disappointed - I feared they had the same restaurant supply frozen fare. read more

Outstanding! They have a "newest" location on 12th Street under the Crosstown Expressway at Adamo in a warehouse. True it doesn't have the thatched roof but all the other details are there....even the original bar, artwork and framed news items. The Guinness is cold and the whiskey is top notch. You won't find better bar staff than Four Green Fields. Get in there before everyone else finds it! read more

One of the best irish pubs in the United States, and the wife and I have been to about 360 here and Ireland, with a great pint of guinness poured properly in the right glass! If you dont know what the right glass is just keep drinking it out of the bigger one with harp on it, ha. Cleaner, fresher, newer version of the old one on Platt St. Very lucky to have it here in Tampa if you care about a true irish pub. Thank the lord it's back! read more

I have been to the new location 3 times with an open mind. I understand it's a transition and new processes to open. The food is horrible. Zero thought goes into quantity, taste or how it's served. All 3 visits I brought guests, all 3 visits I had to apologize for suggesting this place. The service is so absent you can expect to get up from your table a few times and ask for things that should go with your food. Some examples are: a fork with a salad, salad dressing, napkins with chips/dip, a refill, the ingredient they didn't put in your food or beverage, the food they forget to prepare/bring. I am super disappointed and really wanted to support the new location and I just can't. If you are just drinking and don't mind being ignored by the staff, this is a spacious venue with an excellent patio. read more
