The wings were amazing. Enjoyed the hot buffalo wings and Parmesan garlic, both were great. Love all the tvs for the different game options. 100% recommend.
The wings just always slap here. The girls that work here have certainly improved over the years but it's also hit or miss at times with service. Sitting at the bar yields a much better result. Game nights this place is going to be PACKED so be patient.
garlic parm wings could've been more saucy as they were a bit dry but still had good flavor. the dave's way was better that my friends got! cheese fries were good too. service was okay but got better towards the end. would still come back for a quick snack
Finally got to check this place out and it was so delicious. We started with the egg roll appetizer my friend we got to the Philly cheesesteak wrap which I did not get a picture of and then I got the 10 wings Daves way with ranch. Our server was Mckenzie. She was nice and friendly told us about the specials which they have a daily happy hour from 4 PM to 8 PM for both drinks and $1.50 wings. Inside is the sports bar vibe lots of TVs.
Stopped by here tonight with my girlfriend and some friends while on vacation from Virginia. Busy night at the bar but to be expected for this kind of place in Tampa. We were seated pretty quickly so no complaints there. We got some wings, egg rolls and drinks and other items. The food overall was pretty average bar food and the wings were good but not anything out of this world. Biggest complaint was our waitress was very inattentive and non- personable. She didn't say please, thank you, or you're welcome about literally anything. When it got time for checks she was pointing at us couples without saying anything to signify how the checks were gonna be split or even mouthing anything. The blankest expression you could imagine which is very odd and completely out of character from other establishments we went to in Tampa. The bar was not even that loud where you couldn't hear each other. Biggest complaint was definitely the service. Didn't even tip 20% which was rare for us. Would we go back again if here on vacation again? Probs not.
Came here late at night, small little sports bar that had a bit of a wait to get into but they have really good drink specials. I ended up getting a bucket of high noons, which came decently priced. My waitress Chloe did a good job with service, I ended up getting an order of the wings Dave's way which she recommended. Good garlic Parmesan flavor with a bit of spice. I got all drums because that's just what I prefer. I also got a French dip sandwich which had a great flavor and good side of au jous which gave it a great smothered beefy flavor. The fries were decent but I would recommend getting the bacon cheesy fries to add a little more flavor. My favorite was the flounder sandwich a Tampa staple. The breading on the fish was crisp well seasoned and flavorful and kept the fish nice and tender. The tartar sauce was creamy with a hint of dill my personal favorite type of sauce and came with a side of potato salad which was also surprisingly good. Overall this place is a good stop if you're looking to watch some sports or pregame for a bolts game during hockey season as it's located right down the street from benchmark and decently close to Sparkman Wharf.
Loved this place! Went for beer and wings and THRILLED that they had both Guinness AND Labbat Blue so I could get a Black and Blue while watching hockey Wings amazing Other food was good as well Service ....they messed up our order and drinks maybe 6 times on a party of three .... But super nice and responsive
First time at Hattricks after a Straz show after two friends recommended their wings. The wings did not disappoint and I had to try them two ways: Dave's Way which was Parmesan flavored and medium. I couldn't split a $20 order so wings so I had to order two sets of 10 wings, in the future I would just order 20 to split. The wings were amazing and I feel I would regret not getting them if I ordered something else next time. The Tampa Bay sports memorabilia was a fun environment and I would definitely come back with friends in the future, and to get some good wings and beer. Our server was great and she got us everything we needed and pretty fast too.
I'm from out of town and was staying in the area for the weekend so I did some research in advance about was the best sports bar to watch an ACC game while I'm here, with a lively yet semi-divvy chill area and good food. This place was highly recommended all over social media, and wow yes, 100% did not disappoint. The service was really friendly, but boyyyy oh boy were they BUSY! You definitely want to get here early if there's a game on. It was standing room only at one point but it was no big deal to hop on the waiting list for a table and stand by the bar with a drink while waiting. There are TVs everywhere so there isn't a bad seat in the house. I also LOVE all the windows and architecture in general.. if you took away all the ports memorabilia everywhere it would kind of give Central Perk vibes to me! The food... yes. Just, yes. The chili has that ooey gooey stringy piping hot cheese on top when you take a bite, the chicken wings are those good crispy kind that only a good bar seems to be able to accomplish, and they have tater tots... which I love. Overall, big fan!
Hattricks in downtown Tampa is the kind of place that doesn't just lean into being a dive bar -- it throws itself into the boards, gets back up, and orders another round. This is dive dive dive, and it wears the label proudly. Yes, it's a Tampa Bay Lightning-themed bar, but don't expect arena polish. Expect a spirited shrine built by a lifelong fan who collected memorabilia, beer signs, and questionable decisions. In the middle of all this? A beautiful brick wall standing tall like the only sober person at a bachelor party. Seriously -- this wall is doing architectural hero work. THE FOOD Wings: Good but missing that spark. They tasted like they were almost ready for prime time, then tripped during warm-ups. Grouper Bites: The undeniable MVP. Crispy, fresh, delicious -- these could bring home a Stanley Cup on their own. Turkey Reuben: This sandwich tasted like it had been waiting in the locker room since Thanksgiving. Dry, confused, and wondering why it was still in the game. Asian Salads: If salads could commit penalties, this one racked up a double minor plus misconduct. No flavor. Overcooked chicken. Sad lettuce. Honestly, the whole bowl deserved two minutes in the penalty box just to think about what it had done. FINAL CALL: Three stars because those grouper bites were the star forward and that brick wall deserves an all-star nomination. Would I go back? Sure -- but only to order the grouper bites and sit near the brick wall while pretending the salad is serving its time in the box.
The service was good, we came strictly for the wings because they were highly recommended. The wings were delicious they were crispy, not fatty and huge, and they let us order all flats which is big deal for me! Also the French fries and mozzarella sticks were solid. Sports bar ambiance through and through.
The boyfriend & I came here for wings. It was packed to the max with a line out the door, however, bar seating is first come, first serve. We were able to snag seats at the middle bar top which has kind of a weird unique set up. It's a very thin long table and you really can't sit across from each other because there's literally like no room but that's where we sat, we both ordered our own wings. He only likes the plain wings and he likes to ask for a side of whatever sauce he's feeling for the day, so that's great that they could do the sauces on the side. I like to get the lemon pepper retossed in garlic Parm that is my favorite wing sauce however it is very rich in sauce and it always makes me sleepy and that's when I know it's time to leave there and go take a nap lol. Luckily, the boyfriend lives downtown. Not sure if they use MSG in the foods but the wings knock me out like turkey does lol. The service is on the slow side but it's always packed to the max. The servers are very sweet & friendly.

Stopped in for the Garlic Parmesan wings and really enjoyed them! The wings were a good size, and cooked well. I think they may have been baked rather than fried, which I actually enjoyed. The Caesar salad was okay, but the lettuce was a little soggy, and the sweet potato fries were tasty but came out cold. The place was busy, but service was good. Lots of TVs and a fun sports-bar atmosphere definitely a great spot to hang out and watch a game. I'll be back for the wings! read more

Not badddd Lemme tell you something. I find immense joy every time I show up here. Buzzin atmosphere, great food and mad TV's. What more do you want? Go to order always consists of the cheese fries and 10 wings, Dave's way. I don't know Dave. But shoutout you big bro. I like what you have cooking up in the sauce department. Somebody at the table floated the idea of the grouper nuggets and you know what...NOT BADDD. For sure would get them again, fell apart and wear crispy and tasty. Also, how do you all make this ranch? What's the key here, open to taking a shift off a line cooks hands just to learn. Lemme know, DM me please. The only reason I can't go 5 stars (please keep in mind this is not Hattricks fault it's just personal preference) I gotta pay for parking, lame. Lowkey kinda expansive but then again I really enjoy the food so like I'm willing and happy to to pay because it genuinely is good. Finally, lemme call ahead and put my name down. It's always mad packed and I never learn a wait time, feels silly but once more. I'm willing to wait because I do love these wings. All in all, love you all. I will always be back. Thank you for holding down the wing scene. read more

Met some friends here last night for dinner. IT was packed....with dudes. It is a very loud environment, so if you're trying to have conversation, it is difficult. Great location, super close to the amphitheater where the lightning play. And it's only like a 10 minute walk if you wanna go catch a game or a show. They are known for their wings, so don't skip out on those. We also had crinkle cut fries, which I would pass on sweet potato fries that were really good and their pretzel that's shaped like a lightning bolt. Definitely a fun place to watch sports and grab a bite to eat before or after the game read more

wow the best buffalo wings in town and its not even close! Im from upstate ny and I know wings! There is nowhere even close in town! Place overall is a good sports bar style, gets pretty crowded but thats fun for football situations . good looking friendly bartenders also. read more
If you are a lover of sports, this is an elite location to go to! The poutine fries are SO GOOD! The wings Dave's way are delicious and I get them extra crispy, it comes out perfect! The service and atmosphere is perfect for a football or lightning game! Ensure you come early for a table as it will fill up quickly and your whole party must be present! read more
We went after a Lightning game, so we expected a bit of a wait and it was totally worth it. The wings were some of the best I've ever had, we absolutely annihilated them! We got garlic parm and I'm looking forward to coming back to try the other flavors. The chicken dip had a lot of kick to it and the chips kept breaking, so it wasn't my favorite. We also tried the Reuben and the Philly cheesesteak, both were great. Service was friendly and impressively fast, especially given how busy it was. I can't wait to come back for those chicken wings!! read more

TVs on TVs on TVs. This place is wall to wall with TVs. Which is great! But there wasnt any closed captioning on them. And the sound wasn't playing so that was disappointing. I'm sure it's different during Tampa bay sporting events but it was still the NHL and NBA playoffs and expecting one to be playing over the speakers. Came on a Monday for happy hour. Deals were too bad. Fifty cents off of wings and a few drink deals. It was packed since it was rated number one in Tampa for its wings. Otherwise you'll get your typical bar food. Nothing looked too special that caught my eye. One of the highlights is just how quickly food came out. From when I ordered to when it hit my tongue no more than ten minutes had passed. Quick and fast and hot. However... all the waitresses all seemed a little annoyed as if something happened and put all of them in bad moods. Went with the wings and got twenty half the Dave's Way which is their homemade lightning hot sauce that's shakes and baked and fried and retossed in garlic parmesan. That felt way too salty for me. I see their vision but was a bit much. The other ten was lemon pepper and that was cooked to perfection. The blue cheese they had was also super good! Just wished they gave me more than those small containers. Glad I came. Didn't break the bank with this visit. Happy hour helped. Knowing what to expect, I probably wouldn't come here again if it wasn't happy hour. read more

This was a great spot to watch the football game! It was pretty spacious inside especially for being very busy. The food was delicious, we ordered the lightning pretzel, garlic Parmesan wings and fries. The wings were a 10/10 for me and the pretzel was very fresh. Would definitely recommend! read more
If you are looking for the best wings in Tampa look no further than HATTRICKS! Wings are always on point - Dave's way is def the way to order these! Sweet potato fries are also great but the wings are definitely the star of the show! The ranch is so creamy and thick and makes the perfect dip. This is the only place in Tampa I ever get wings from! read more

My first experience was amazing. Today not so much, kitchen staff over horseradished the mustard for the pretzel, it made our sinuses BURN! The Portabella pressed sandwhich was not great, why put all that on a hamburger bun?? Very disappointing, not to mention every chef should know to remove the gills from a portabella mushroom!! Companion didn't care for how dark it was inside, and that the waitress was too eager to turn the table even though there wasn't anyone waiting. read more
Great food, wonderful Irish pub/sports bar ambiance, and great bar service. A Tampa tradition with a wonderful hockey vibe. We had the Italian eggrolls to start. Not bad, but I'd reformulate them a bit with Italian sausage and prosciutto then add basil pesto or olive tapenade. They're a little too pepperoni tasting for my taste. Their take on poutine is wonderful. It's an extensive menu and a local tradition. Give it a try. read more

Wonderful spot to eat. This place is a spot for Tampa Bar Lightning games- hence the name Hat Tricks. Originally an Industrial Supply location Cameron and Barkley. A business opening before the Civil War and still in operation today. This is a great building. Apparently it maintains power during Hurricanes. So if you get into a jam. Keep them in mind. I loved my nachos and ate down to the plate. The service was amazing. All the waitstaff is awesome. They're running around all the time refilling drinks and serving food, and flipping tables. Definitely a great spot to eat and watch the game! read more
