The wings were amazing. Enjoyed the hot buffalo wings and Parmesan garlic, both were great. Love all the tvs for the different game options. 100% recommend.
The wings just always slap here. The girls that work here have certainly improved over the years but it's also hit or miss at times with service. Sitting at the bar yields a much better result. Game nights this place is going to be PACKED so be patient.
garlic parm wings could've been more saucy as they were a bit dry but still had good flavor. the dave's way was better that my friends got! cheese fries were good too. service was okay but got better towards the end. would still come back for a quick snack
Finally got to check this place out and it was so delicious. We started with the egg roll appetizer my friend we got to the Philly cheesesteak wrap which I did not get a picture of and then I got the 10 wings Daves way with ranch. Our server was Mckenzie. She was nice and friendly told us about the specials which they have a daily happy hour from 4 PM to 8 PM for both drinks and $1.50 wings. Inside is the sports bar vibe lots of TVs.
Stopped by here tonight with my girlfriend and some friends while on vacation from Virginia. Busy night at the bar but to be expected for this kind of place in Tampa. We were seated pretty quickly so no complaints there. We got some wings, egg rolls and drinks and other items. The food overall was pretty average bar food and the wings were good but not anything out of this world. Biggest complaint was our waitress was very inattentive and non- personable. She didn't say please, thank you, or you're welcome about literally anything. When it got time for checks she was pointing at us couples without saying anything to signify how the checks were gonna be split or even mouthing anything. The blankest expression you could imagine which is very odd and completely out of character from other establishments we went to in Tampa. The bar was not even that loud where you couldn't hear each other. Biggest complaint was definitely the service. Didn't even tip 20% which was rare for us. Would we go back again if here on vacation again? Probs not.
Came here late at night, small little sports bar that had a bit of a wait to get into but they have really good drink specials. I ended up getting a bucket of high noons, which came decently priced. My waitress Chloe did a good job with service, I ended up getting an order of the wings Dave's way which she recommended. Good garlic Parmesan flavor with a bit of spice. I got all drums because that's just what I prefer. I also got a French dip sandwich which had a great flavor and good side of au jous which gave it a great smothered beefy flavor. The fries were decent but I would recommend getting the bacon cheesy fries to add a little more flavor. My favorite was the flounder sandwich a Tampa staple. The breading on the fish was crisp well seasoned and flavorful and kept the fish nice and tender. The tartar sauce was creamy with a hint of dill my personal favorite type of sauce and came with a side of potato salad which was also surprisingly good. Overall this place is a good stop if you're looking to watch some sports or pregame for a bolts game during hockey season as it's located right down the street from benchmark and decently close to Sparkman Wharf.

Went for beer and wings and THRILLED that they had both Guinness AND Labbat Blue so I could get a Black and Blue while watching hockey Wings amazing Other food was good as well Service ....they messed up our order and drinks maybe 6 times on a party of three .... But super nice and responsive
First time at Hattricks after a Straz show after two friends recommended their wings. The wings did not disappoint and I had to try them two ways: Dave's Way which was Parmesan flavored and medium. I couldn't split a $20 order so wings so I had to order two sets of 10 wings, in the future I would just order 20 to split. The wings were amazing and I feel I would regret not getting them if I ordered something else next time. The Tampa Bay sports memorabilia was a fun environment and I would definitely come back with friends in the future, and to get some good wings and beer. Our server was great and she got us everything we needed and pretty fast too.
I'm from out of town and was staying in the area for the weekend so I did some research in advance about was the best sports bar to watch an ACC game while I'm here, with a lively yet semi-divvy chill area and good food. This place was highly recommended all over social media, and wow yes, 100% did not disappoint. The service was really friendly, but boyyyy oh boy were they BUSY! You definitely want to get here early if there's a game on. It was standing room only at one point but it was no big deal to hop on the waiting list for a table and stand by the bar with a drink while waiting. There are TVs everywhere so there isn't a bad seat in the house. I also LOVE all the windows and architecture in general.. if you took away all the ports memorabilia everywhere it would kind of give Central Perk vibes to me! The food... yes. Just, yes. The chili has that ooey gooey stringy piping hot cheese on top when you take a bite, the chicken wings are those good crispy kind that only a good bar seems to be able to accomplish, and they have tater tots... which I love. Overall, big fan!
Hattricks in downtown Tampa is the kind of place that doesn't just lean into being a dive bar -- it throws itself into the boards, gets back up, and orders another round. This is dive dive dive, and it wears the label proudly. Yes, it's a Tampa Bay Lightning-themed bar, but don't expect arena polish. Expect a spirited shrine built by a lifelong fan who collected memorabilia, beer signs, and questionable decisions. In the middle of all this? A beautiful brick wall standing tall like the only sober person at a bachelor party. Seriously -- this wall is doing architectural hero work. THE FOOD Wings: Good but missing that spark. They tasted like they were almost ready for prime time, then tripped during warm-ups. Grouper Bites: The undeniable MVP. Crispy, fresh, delicious -- these could bring home a Stanley Cup on their own. Turkey Reuben: This sandwich tasted like it had been waiting in the locker room since Thanksgiving. Dry, confused, and wondering why it was still in the game. Asian Salads: If salads could commit penalties, this one racked up a double minor plus misconduct. No flavor. Overcooked chicken. Sad lettuce. Honestly, the whole bowl deserved two minutes in the penalty box just to think about what it had done. FINAL CALL: Three stars because those grouper bites were the star forward and that brick wall deserves an all-star nomination. Would I go back? Sure -- but only to order the grouper bites and sit near the brick wall while pretending the salad is serving its time in the box.
The service was good, we came strictly for the wings because they were highly recommended. The wings were delicious they were crispy, not fatty and huge, and they let us order all flats which is big deal for me! Also the French fries and mozzarella sticks were solid. Sports bar ambiance through and through.
The boyfriend & I came here for wings. It was packed to the max with a line out the door, however, bar seating is first come, first serve. We were able to snag seats at the middle bar top which has kind of a weird unique set up. It's a very thin long table and you really can't sit across from each other because there's literally like no room but that's where we sat, we both ordered our own wings. He only likes the plain wings and he likes to ask for a side of whatever sauce he's feeling for the day, so that's great that they could do the sauces on the side. I like to get the lemon pepper retossed in garlic Parm that is my favorite wing sauce however it is very rich in sauce and it always makes me sleepy and that's when I know it's time to leave there and go take a nap lol. Luckily, the boyfriend lives downtown. Not sure if they use MSG in the foods but the wings knock me out like turkey does lol. The service is on the slow side but it's always packed to the max. The servers are very sweet & friendly.

Checked out Hattricks before a Lightning game recently. Definitely packed, so if you're planning on grabbing some food or beer before the game, make sure you give yourself enough time! Restaurant did clear out as soon as the game started. Tried Dave's Way wings and they were nice and crispy. Cool vibe! read more
Bad timing for dinner as we arrived mid-3rd quarter of the delayed Sugar Bowl on a Thursday night. However, we grabbed a drink at the bar and after a short 20 minute or so wait, we got a text that our table was ready. All the servers/hostess we came in contact with were friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Our food came out very quickly and everything was delicious. I got the Blackened Grouper sandwich, which was huge and fantastic!! My wife got the burger, and said it was fresh and tasty as well fries were crisp and great, and the pasta salad was good-a bit oilier than I'd like but still food. Drinks were very reasonable and food was fairly priced. Very tight quarters and a lively atmosphere, but fun! Highly recommended. read more
I got their wings with blue cheese dressing and it was just ok. My friends ordered the burger with fries and both said they tasted like the burger and fries were straight out of a freezer and into a microwave. The food was just ok. It was edible. The ambiance and service were solid. We dined outside and an awning kept us from the rain. Our server checked on us frequently to ensure that our needs were met. You know how sometimes, even if you're grown, you just want really good chicken fingers? Well, the place I always want to go to when I'm craving the BEST chicken fingers is Hattricks! Every time I go there, no matter how much time has passed in between visits, the chicken tenders are always consistently amazing! They are crispy and crunchy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Dipped in their creamy, flavorful Ranch dip, they are on a whole new level. They are exquisite. The fries are solid. The service is so friendly, the atmosphere is just what you expect when you go toHattricks... Sports channels blasting. Good times and good vibes. I love this place. This was a pretty busy sports bar but it was easy for us to be served! The wings were tempting to get but I decided on a Cesar salad and the dessert of the day. It was a sea salt caramel cheesecake. My boyfriend got a sandwich and a side of pasta salad. Everything was delicious and would stop by again. read more
While visiting Tampa I had heard great things about this place so I decided to check it out. I will say it's very loud so if you're looking for a quiet place this is not it. It's a sports bar and I was told many locals hang out here. I ordered the crinkle cut fries, wings two ways - lemon pepper and Dave's Way and the Nic's Famous Italian Egg Rolls. I asked the server what's Dave's Way meant she told me it was a little spicy nothing too bad. The eggs rolls were amazing they came out first! I could have eaten another order! Then the wings came out I was disappointed with the Dave's Way wings as they were so salty but worst of all so spicy I could barely eat the first bite. I let the server know if it was possible to just get garlic parm wings. We searched for the best wings in Tampa on Yelp and Hattricks came up and definitely did not disappoint. Located conveniently right across the street from Tampa's free trolly the sports bar was very crowded on Friday early evening- we easily found a seat at the bar but they appeared to be on a wait by the time we left. The service was friendly and fast. We got 10 wings Dave's Way, which is a mix of Lightning and Garlic Parmesan sauces, and they were absolutely DELICIOUS. Highly recommend. read more

We ate here for lunch on a Saturday. Though the venue was busy, we were seated quickly. The ambience mirrors a traditional sports bar. The food was great and our server was very attentive. The wings arrived hot and big, and the burger was cooked to order. The pretzels were in the shape of the Lightning logo and were delicious as well. I typically enjoy Hattricks, but tonight's experience was too bizarre not to share. My friends and I went in for a quick bite and 2 out of 3 of us ordered 10 wings & the 3rd person ordered 6. Simple, right? The waitress accidentally brought out 10. No big deal --mistakes happen. We figured she'd just made a mistake or was just being nice. After eating about 3-4 wings we informed her of the error. She assured us it was her bad and that my friend could just keep the extra 4. A few seconds later, mid bite, the manager comes over and tells her that when she finishes her 6, they'll be back to take the other 4. If she ate any of the other 4, she would've been charged for 10. Imagine she'd accidentally eaten 7 before she noticed? It was extremely awkward and made us uncomfortable. Even worse, it felt like they waited around to ensure that we wouldn't sneak any extra --like a wing warden. Food? Solid. Drinks? Good. Waitress? Friendly and apologetic. Still tipped her for her kindness and service. Experience? Wild. read more

Stopped in Hattricks to watch the Tampa Bay Lightning Game and try the Famous "Dave's Way" wings. They were great as advertised. The cooking style definitely packs the flavor and keeps them juicy. Great vibe with lots of sports memorabilia on the walls. The staff was great, and Britney gave us the VIP Treatment. Hattricks is a Tampa staple for any sports fan, especially my fellow Bolts fans. Located only minutes from Amalie makes this place my go to each time, if I'm lucky enough to find a table or spot at the bar. Trust me when I tell you to get the wings, Dave's way of course! The buffalo chicken dip is incredible, loaded with huge chunks of chicken! Beer selection is great. My only gripe is the service can be a bit slower but that's expected of such a busy place. The vibe great and I feel welcomed to cheer on all my favorite teams each time I'm there. For sure a must read more

So you love eating wings. Say you've had the best. Order the flavor you want then ask for them "Dave's Way". It's adding a garlic sauce with parmesan cheese to your wings to elevate the flavor. Popular local sports bar. Got there at 11:30 on a football Sunday and was already pretty full, last table/seat the bar was taken by 11:45 and then people had to wait a while. The wings were very good as was the Reuben. Ordered the wings hot but next will ask for them extra hot. The Italian egg rolls were weirdly soggy and wouldn't order again. Great sports bar if you're into hockey or any other sports in the area. They have a very interesting menu full of lots of things I wouldn't have expected to get there. I had the vegetable beef soup which was good although a little bit on the salty side. I also had the chicken wings two different styles I would check them more authentic chicken wings which they're the ones they want awards for which were the best. Also got to try their fries with gravy and duck which was good but a bit on the salty side. The staff was very nice and although I wasn't drinking alcohol they refilled my water as often as needed. I would go back again for a casual place to watch sports for it whenever in town for business or just fun. read more

Wow, just wow...I can see why they have been voted best wings in Tampa Bay! Order the wings Dave's way. They had just the right amount of heat and the garlic Parmesan flavor make these my new favorite wing. What a great sports bar...will be back! They also have a nice happy hour selection (which includes their wings), so will have to come for that next time. read more

Hubby and I were on the hunt to catch the Miami football game with a side of wings and a friend recommended Hattricks and she nailed it. This spot screams sports! TVs literally everywhere making there no bad seat in the house. We came for the ambiance and wings and neither disappointed. Lucky for us Miami played Friday night and we made it just in time for happy hour (4pm-8pm dine in only). We leaned on the locals for this one and tried their wings Dave's Way and I'm now convinced there's no other way. They were baked to the right amount of crisp and tossed in a garlic parmesan Buffalo type sauce making them damn near perfect. The fries were just okay being under seasoned and soggy but their bucket of beer specials and wings made up for it. We will absolutely be back. read more

I had been in before to the bar with friends but finally made it in for a meal. While it screams bar food and bar atmosphere, because it is a sports bar, the food is definitely much better than normal bar food. Get the wings, they are excellent. Had a couple of sandwiches too and they were also good. Had to wait a little bit for a table but they have a text wait service and service was great once we were seated. Definitely a great atmosphere for good food and watching some games. read more

Great hockey and spots bar. Menu is all in hockey terminology which was fun to read as long as you know hockey. Atmosphere was positive and energetic, even kid friendly before night time rush. Will definitely visit again. read more
Good spot for lunch in downtown Tampa. Tip is to go there early like 11:15 to catch a table. Solid bar food and great portions. Went in as a group 5; had some nachos, wings and sandwiches. Food was pretty good and service was very attentive. Nice atmosphere for group lunches and I kept hearing how amazing the wings were! Will try those next time read more

Very crowded and bustling. If you are looking for a quaint quiet place for lunch....avoid Hattricks. Given that it is just off the bay in Tampa, the atmosphere and crowd should be expected. Due to the atmosphere, the waitresses don't spend much time at your table (and sliver of space) but our waitress was very attentive. She kept our glasses full and we never had to look to get her attention. The waitress dress as you would expect for the location. All female. All pretty. All a little more than scantily clad. Our meals were better than average but don't expect us to remember it in a week. Alll in all, I nice place. Worth the visit if you aren't afraid to rub elbows with strangers. read more
