But the high point is how smooth the bourbon is. In a crowded competitive space of signature bourbons Minglewood has standouts that are very enjoyable. I have been giving Minglewood to my coworkers for the holidays. I now have orders from the to pick up a bottle of this or that when next I visit.

Stop to sample everything or grab a cocktail! It feels like a speakeasy because it's in a dark, cool, little basement, and the decor sports hand-hewn beams and original sandstone block walls. The owners are personable and proud of their work: ALL ingredients are local, local, local! They were more than willing to take people on a tour! You can even rent out the place for events too. Find their products in the Massillon Giant Eagle, the Mini Mart in Canal Fulton, the Fishers on Fulton, or Lakes Beverage in Akron. Great little find!

We never even knew this place existed, it's tucked back in the corner of small office-type plaza. It's very unassuming. Inside, it's so neat and comfortable. We were immediately greeted by Brad who was cool and friendly and very knowledgeable about their product- vodka. He gave us our passports and let us know that BKO was actually a cofounder of the NODP. We received a rundown of the vodka making process and samples of the product- which was so good and so smooth. I've never had a vodka that you could just drink and enjoy. Brad was so darn friendly. Also, BKO offers tours and we can't wait to come back and do one. I would highly recommend checking out this place and their vodka. Such an incredibly cool place for little Medina, Ohio to have.

They're located in an office park and have a super cute merch shop where they off shirts, etc as well as their spirits. The tour is so informative and it was shocking to see behind the curtain of their operations. Randy was so cool and so knowledgeable. We had a great time touring their facility and learning about what they do and how they do it. West Branch takes such pride in their local ingredients and their process. So glad that we made this visit. Their spirits are also fantastic and a tasting is included with the tour. Otherwise a tasting of 4 samples is only $2. I'd recommend this place to anyone. They have an outside patio and a loft upstairs so lots of seats. They have specialty cocktails with all their liquor's and you can always just order something like a vodka tonic or rum and coke. I e had a handful of drinks I liked them all. No food really here. Just sit and drink and play some games or have good conversations. It is kinda dark especially in the loft but not bad just not a lot of light. Maybe mood lighting, LOL. Fun place to break up all the wine. Have a drink and try. The rum and bourbon are faves!
