Fantastic tour given by Mike and it's so exciting to see the new space for Cleveland's d Whiskey. This is award-winning bourbon -- really wonderful experience!

Great tour at Cleveland Whiskey! Loved seeing the inner workings of a local distillery and learning a bit about the history of the building. Tasted some great whiskey and bought a couple bottles - very decent prices. I wish the tour would have been on Viator because I would have found it sooner! We are excited to return when they get their bar up and running. Will be a sick location in the future!

This is my girlfriend favorite place in Cleveland. The open house was amazing as always and both owners were there serving everyone and mingling. Always a great time, also all the prices are always so reasonable.

Every time I visit my hometown I try and make sure I do at least one new thing. Sometimes you take a city for granted when you grow up there. This time I wanted to check out Cleveland Whiskey and I'm glad I did! First off I will say it's a little hidden. There are signs outside but it's inside a educational building and we got a little confused looking for it. Luckily the front desk staff saw us confused and came out to help! They called someone down to assist us and we were on our way. Since we were just walk ins on a random Tuesday I didn't expect any special treatment but we were treated special. I got a bit of a backstory and a tasting of a few things I was interested in buying so that was nice! I also got to smell the amazing smoker chips which is nice, I don't know of any other whiskey company that does them! Overall it was a nice stop in visit and I walked away with a nice bottle of bourbon whiskey. I would love to come back on an actual tour day so I can see the rest of the facility and pick up a few more bottles!

Awesome place to pick up your favorite whisky/bourbon. Several different flavors to pick from. Now let me tell you, this is not your average whisky. This is Cleveland Whisky, made right here on sight. The owner has a proprietary method that really brings unique flavors. The coffee bourbon is really good as is the Christmas Whisky. Just the right blend of spices. They are open for sales most days through the week. Also sold are shirts, and bourbon brixs for smoking meats. I have never seen these sold anywhere else. I'm very excited to have had the opportunity to tour the distillery and learn the process they use for making Cleveland Whisky. Keep up the great work Tom. Your hard work, drive and devotion to the brand and making a quality product is paying off. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

I wanted to love my time at Cleveland Whiskey but it just didn't work out. Let me start out by saying our tour guide was personable, friendly and engaging BUT my biggest complaint is that I left without very much knowledge. I wanted to learn how/why Cleveland Whiskey does it different. While I know they can't be giving out trade secrets - I expected to at least be able to educate my peers about the Cleveland Whiskey difference after paying $15 for a tour. You do get 4 samples and a behind the scenes look at all of the parts of the process... and we all found the whiskey to be pretty tasty. But all in all it just felt like I walked into a tasting room, tried some samples, and left. I will also say that I was disappointed by how hard it was to find at night. Cleveland Whiskey is located in the CSU magnet building. I was unable to find this information on Cleveland Whiskeys website, which was extremely frustrating as we stood outside on a poorly street going, is this it??? I definitely wish this wasn't my only taste (lol) of Cleveland Whiskey and I would not let this tour stop me from purchasing their whiskey if I was so inclined. But I felt the need to let others know that the tour might not be what they are expecting

Let me start by saying we are from Ky and we know whiskey! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Cleveland Whiskey! We were a group of 3 Kentuckians- 2 executive level bourbon stewards and 1 chemical engineer with a masters in brewing and distilling from Scotland. Did we have a bit of arrogance going in - I think so! But did Brandon and his team at Cleveland Whiskey give a great tour-absolutely! Cleveland Whiskey is utilizing an innovative process in creating their bourbon. They are sort of expediting the process. We were circumspect but very pleasantly enjoyed the product. Science and engineering should be respected and it works with their products! What I personally enjoyed was the creativity they explore with their products! They make bourbon and ryes fun! They have a variety of wood finishes from maple to cherry to honey locust. They had a coffee finish and a ghost pepper finish! I could not get enough of the creativity! We were able to purchase bottles to take homeand we all picked our favorites! Their heart and souls are evident in what they produce. The tour is interesting and well-paced in a taste as you go tour! We look forward to a return visit in the future! We really loved our experience and smile fondly as we talk about it to others! We want to be Cleveland Whiskey evangelists!

Celebrated Mother's Day and a birthday by signing up for City Brew Tours Cleveland. I knew I'd…read moreenjoy it, simply based on the company and the fact we'd be trying all kinds of different beers, but I underestimated just how educationally stimulating the experience would also be. Our Beer Guide was Christian, and he couldn't have been better! At each stop, we took a tour of their facility and learned about different phases of the beer brewing process. I had very little knowledge about the process going in, but by the end of it, I had a whole new appreciation for one of my favorite beverages. We stopped at Market Garden Brewery, Goldhorn Brewery, Collision Bend, and Brick & Barrel, and each stop educated us a little bit about the selected beers they offered, what they pair well with, etc. All told, we tried 13 different beers, and had some food pairings specifically at Collision Bend. In the end, it was well worth the money, the day was enjoyed by everyone involved, and I can't stress just how great Christian was at making the experience a memorable one. I can't wait to try another one of their tours in the near future! FWIW: if you enjoy IPAs, the Dead Man's Curve IPA from Goldhorn Brewery is fantastic!

We also had soft pretzels at Gold Horn Brewery. Roger, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about beer and the brewing process. He was friendly and welcomed any and all questions. Our tour was full with 14 people and everyone lived in the Cleveland area. The tour van was very comfortable and we arrived at all of our destinations quickly. Our tour lasted approximately 3 1/2 hours. It was interesting talking with people and discussing the different beer options. For those interested in more than tasting, there was an in depth talk regarding the brewing process. We were required to wear closed toed shoes and we visited two of the brewery's brewing areas. I was a little disappointed at our stop at Brick and Barrel. It appeared that they were not expecting us and we could only find outdoor seating. It was chilly. Fortunately we were not there too long. We ended the tour where we started at the Double Tree downtown. We had good beer and good conversation. It was a nice evening.

Let me start with the good. The trip was great. The crew…read morewas wonderful. The music was fantastic. The views are beyond compare. The perfect way to spend a few hours on a hot summer afternoon. The experience was FIVE STARS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ But ... dealing with the sales office to get ON on the boat? ZERO STARS. We planned a 2-part surprise party - the first part was a ride on the Tiki Barge for 11 people early on Sunday afternoon, and the second part was a cookout after for another 16-18 people. We were told by the owners to make reservations in advance, which we did weeks ahead of time. Then we waited and waited and waited - but even though we had paid, we never got confirmation. I called the Monday before and was told that our trip had been cancelled because there weren't enough people (funny, that wasn't mentioned when we made the reservations). They said that they were planning on calling us "later in the week" to let us know. So, our early trip had been cancelled, but we were welcome to call off our 30-person cookout that afternoon and come on a trip later in the day. WHAT IN THE HELL WAS THE POINT OF MAKING RESERVATIONS?! So, we had less than a week to reschedule an entire event that had taken weeks to plan, because Tiki Barge apparently doesn't honor the reservations they tell you to make. If it had been up to me, I would have cancelled the whole trip and gone on the Goodtime III or something, but the birthday person had wanted to go on the boat for quite a while, so we went. The experience on the boat was FANTASTIC. I can't say enough good about the Captain, his Mate and the trip itself. But unless you buy out the entire boat, or if you're lucky and they don't cancel your reservation, it doesn't look like you can actually count on going. They offer "single ticket options" - but unless there are a lot of random strangers showing up at the same time, that doesn't seem likely. SO - It's basically a case of "Make a reservation and give us your money. You might be able to take the trip you paid for, but maybe not. If you can't, you're welcome to take a different trip that is totally inconvenient you, but it works better for us, so who cares? If we cancel, we'll probably let you know a few days in advance, but you should probably have a backup plan." TLDR: Great crew, great trip, great views, great value. FIVE STARS But the lousy way the sales office treats their customers drops the overall rating to TWO STARS

These companies brought in wraps, petite sandwiches, a cheese and sausage tray and chips, which weren't eaten. One host made a tropical drink mix ahead of time for all who wanted. He brought extra pineapple juice if the rum was too strong. There was also an IPA and water. The view of Cleveland from the lake was beautiful. There are four Tiki Barges of different sizes. Note that the smallest boat doesn't go out on the lake. The different building styles were nice to see. Then we cruised the Cuyahoga River, which was amazing with its turns. The barge people will help the disabled down the few stairs, even for a person in a wheelchair.
