We sat and ate at 3 different restaurants: one for appetizer, one for 2 pasta dishes, and one for pizza and meatball. Then we stopped at a bakery for takeaway dessert. Our tour ran from 3-6pm though there were some pockets of downtime along the way.

This time the amount of food we got was more reasonable (still plenty to replace a meal and no one left hungry, but not the outrageous portions from last time). We visited Bender's Tavern, Journey art gallery, Deli Ohio, and Basil Asian Bistro, as well as a few other informative/historical stops along the way. You should definitely check out these tours! Her attitude was very disrespectful. Her van broke down and she didn't show up at the meeting location. She didn't provide any tour. She hired someone to take us instead. I understand that this kind of problem can happen. Ok, her van broke down; however, why having such a disrespectful attitude? When I got on the phone with her, she was very rude. She did not apologize at all. Rather, she raised her voice and yelled at me. The other tour guide she hired showed up late, and drop us off at the location late so we could not enjoy our time. I didn't have internet and she kept demanding for Venmo payment when we were supposed to pay cash to her in person. Some of my friends did not have Venmo account so this was a problem. She threatened that if we don't pay her in few minutes all the rest of the tour would be cancelled. We didn't have a good reception of internet and we were busy from listening to the other tour guide but she kept demanding us to pay to her using Venmo. Very impatient, rude, disrespectful, and accusatory!! I do not recommend her company. Very unpleasant and rude customer service.

The sriracha 1000 island is so good that we always ask for an extra side to dip our fries and chips in. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. We also had soft pretzels at Gold Horn Brewery. Roger, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about beer and the brewing process. He was friendly and welcomed any and all questions. Our tour was full with 14 people and everyone lived in the Cleveland area. The tour van was very comfortable and we arrived at all of our destinations quickly. Our tour lasted approximately 3 1/2 hours. It was interesting talking with people and discussing the different beer options. For those interested in more than tasting, there was an in depth talk regarding the brewing process. We were required to wear closed toed shoes and we visited two of the brewery's brewing areas. I was a little disappointed at our stop at Brick and Barrel. It appeared that they were not expecting us and we could only find outdoor seating. It was chilly. Fortunately we were not there too long. We ended the tour where we started at the Double Tree downtown. We had good beer and good conversation. It was a nice evening.

I knew I'd…read moreenjoy it, simply based on the company and the fact we'd be trying all kinds of different beers, but I underestimated just how educationally stimulating the experience would also be. Our Beer Guide was Christian, and he couldn't have been better! At each stop, we took a tour of their facility and learned about different phases of the beer brewing process. I had very little knowledge about the process going in, but by the end of it, I had a whole new appreciation for one of my favorite beverages. We stopped at Market Garden Brewery, Goldhorn Brewery, Collision Bend, and Brick & Barrel, and each stop educated us a little bit about the selected beers they offered, what they pair well with, etc. All told, we tried 13 different beers, and had some food pairings specifically at Collision Bend. In the end, it was well worth the money, the day was enjoyed by everyone involved, and I can't stress just how great Christian was at making the experience a memorable one. I can't wait to try another one of their tours in the near future! FWIW: if you enjoy IPAs, the Dead Man's Curve IPA from Goldhorn Brewery is fantastic!
