The bathroom is small and increasing the size was not an option, so we weren't sure that "rearranging" the space would get us the bigger shower that we were hoping for, but Aimee (the designer) came out and took measurements and later presented us with a layout that would accomplish our goal. The finished product not only provides us with a bigger shower but it is absolutely gorgeous. There were some "hiccups" along the way, some major and some lesser so, but Aimee and Lauren (the scheduler) were reassuring and professional, and every issue was addressed. The crew always arrived when scheduled and, because of their professionalism and thoughtfulness we were not inconvenienced anywhere near as much as might be expected when you are living in the home during a construction project. I would definitely recommend Newmyer Kitchen and Bath to our friends and neighbors.

Both projects were done well and to our complete satisfaction. Planning with Jen, communication with Tracey, and oversight by Joe were excellent. The workmanship was great, and the workers themselves extended themselves to insure our complete satisfaction. We actually enjoyed having them around. There's one more project in our future, and we'll definitely use Newmyer.

We spoke to the people from Marque and they promises that we had nothing to worry and they will take care of all our problems and will have our business back in no time better that before. With never having this experience we hire and and trusted them. Like idiot we gave them most of the insurance money. seven months later they still not done. Not even half done! They ask for the remaining balance to finish and once again we trusts them and gave it to them. We just wanted our business back. Is now a year later and they have not done a dam thing more and keep giving us the run around then ask for more money than the what the insurance gave us and they where contracted for. To make matter worst we found out that there are Liens on our property for the sub-contractor that they hire because they have not been paid and are not go back to continue work till they get their money. After meeting with Taylor from Skyview and representatives from two rival companies, the decision as to who to sign with was easy to make because the rival companies didn't come close to offering the value, the customization and flexibility, or the quality of projected final product as Skyview. And that's just talking about the product and the return on investment for the cost (I have quotes from other companies for sunrooms half the size for roughly the same price, and they didn't have the same quality of building materials). When you factor in the high level of professionalism, exceptional customer service, and frequent, respectful communication, the value of working with Skyview gets better and better. Considering the amount of time that goes into a project like building a sunroom, working with a team that is respectful, reliable, friendly, and helpful is really important. The quality of the people themselves can make or break your experience. From the time we sat down to discuss options and make plans for our custom sunroom, all the way through the final completion and walk-through of the space, every individual member of the team was exceptional (from the crew building the room to the electricians brought in to the folks organizing logistics and communication from the office to the person actually designing our space). Whenever my partner or I had stupid questions, any member of the crew on site would take the time out to talk it through with us with impressive patience. Or Taylor or Valerie would respond to our email queries within a couple hours, often sooner than later. If there was a concern or question about the build itself, Matt would quickly involve himself to make sure things were addressed to our satisfaction. Even though this was one of many jobs for this team, they never once made us feel like *just another job*. This is especially a shout-out to the building crew since they were here all day long, day after day, in the bitter cold and over the holidays (not on the holidays, though, which we were happy they could enjoy). That they were always so great to work with or talk to in spite of the demands of the job goes to show how genuinely kind and professional they all are. The sunroom they built for us is off the back of our house. The first step was tearing out the old concrete patio and pouring a new slab. Then they began putting up the structure, putting in electrical, etc. They built a gabled roof into the existing roof of the house, which meant removing gutters, tearing into walls, shingling, putting up new gutters. They put down beautiful flooring, installed a ceiling fan (that we supplied, as per the agreement), put up a new interior wall (bead board) with an opening for a dog door (as requested), ran new electrical, installed a baseboard heater to make the room usable all year. The trim-work done at the end is beautiful. When all was said and done, they cleaned up the room and the yard quickly and efficiently. What I'm trying to say is, a lot of time, energy, expertise, and coordination went into putting this together for us. The sunroom has been completely finished for about a week and we have already spent more waking hours in it than the rest of the house. We love it. Our pets love it. We had friends in from out of town and they were blown away by it. I might build another sunroom off this sunroom just to have another project with this team. If you're thinking about a sunroom or other related project, I highly encourage you to contact Skyview and set up a consultation. There were no strings attached until we signed the contract. There's no risk because you can walk away if you aren't satisfied with the plan. But they customize their projects according to your wants and needs, so I think you'll be impressed.

My wife and I are left jealous of the other reviews about this company. Their commercials will…read moreadvertise as they are one company: this is simply false. The waterproofing and finishing sides are completely separate from one another and do not communicate. We found this out the hard way after booking them for our projects. We received the opposite treatment, temperament, and professionalism from the same people referenced on other reviews (Dan the Project Coordinator mainly). The lack of communication between ourselves and the company/workers as well as between the waterproofing and finishing sides was lacklaster and, most times, non-existent. While Basements plus will acknowledge and apologize for the "experiences" we had, the "experience" will never be something they take financial ownership for... and we have proof of that. Most of our issues lie with the process involved, the lack of accountability from the people involved, and the company's lack of accountability for the burdens my wife and I ended up with to keep things moving. Our bi-level house flooded multiple times in our downstairs. Prior to Basements Plus waterproofing, a plumber put in an emergency storm drain that fed into our sum pump. This was relayed to Basements Plus and was clearly attached to the sum pump that was being replaced. After waterproofing was "completed", the emergency storm drain was never tied back into the new sum pump and our downstairs flooded again. They had to come back out and fix their error with the sum pump. No all, but our main issues (we have so much more, please ask us): -You will get an App that is meant to provide you a daily schedule so you know what work is being supposed to be done when and who will be at the house. This schedule will NOT be updated automatically and will be useless quickly. The ONLY way we got this updated was repeatedly asking. -Due to the bi-level home, we asked for a door to be put at the bottom of the stairs. It took SIX WEEKS for the project coordinator to put one in. HIS original suggestion was for a zipper door. When asked the next week about a zipper door, Dan was confused on what that was. We ended up with a magnet door that was installed in the wrong place, had to be moved by me, and did not function as well as hoped. -When going through the process of picking out cabinets, countertops, and accessories in the showroom, we were not presented prices for the options. -We had multiple occasions where the waterproofing and finishing would overlap. Neither side knew what the other was doing and would interfere with themselves. In one instance, we were called that materials would be dropped off the next day; the truck backed into our driveway with materials 1 minute later. -We had power knocked out to multiple rooms upstairs one day. Workers took 0 accountability until forced to. -Beware! This company does NOT prime and paint before laying flooring down. This was confirmed by multiple workers. Due to this, our flooring had white trim paint soak through the tape that was on it for 2 months. Almost every 4 inches of the floor against a wall is dulled in color now. -This company also does not grout tile in the bathroom. That is on you if you want it. -We asked for a new project Coordinator and, instead, just got a middle-man between us and the Coordinator. -Company threw away brackets for blinds, ceiling fans, and barn doors and all had to be replaced. -When Project Coordinator went out of town, we had no work done at our house. Company confirmed this is not how it is supposed to be, but that's exactly how it worked for us. At the end, we told Basements Plus we were done and we would take care of the rest ourselves. We coordinated FAR too much of this ourselves and were exhausted with the lack of communication and accountability. We asked for compensation back for all of the errors and work that became ours. Their "good faith" offer was 2% of our total paid (which didn't include plumbing costs) and would have to sign an NDA. We would never accept that offer and have so much more to say!

We also got additional insulation and a new sum pump and a dehumidifier. The manager Kyle came later to check on their work.
