While on vacation in Palm Springs my wife and I had the pleasure of training for a few days at Foundry CrossFit with owner/coach Gene Williams. Gene and Tiffani really have a special thing going at Foundry. We were welcomed by both coach and members with open arms. Everyone was so friendly, and you can tell there is a very strong sense of community here. The facility is top notch, and is clean, cool, and spacious, with all of the equipment imaginable for varied, interesting workouts. Gene is a very skilled coach and was very attentive, fun, and knowledgeable. He individually, thoughtfully, and kindly scaled the workouts for the various levels in the class. I learned a lot in the few days I spent here. They really take pride in their business and it shows. This would be our second home if we lived in Palm Springs. We will be back to visit. I recommend anyone stop by Foundry CrossFit if they are in the area. What a treat! read more

I was on vacation when I realized I needed a good workout. It's been awhile since I've been to a CrossFit gym. I do wods at home, but I cherry pick. When I dropped in here I was pleasantly surprised to see the coach who looked like a legit crossfit athlete. Im just average and to me it's inspiring/motivating to see someone in such amazing shape! CrossFit will change your perspective on what health & fitness really is.. I've never been in better shape. After you try CrossFit you won't go back to your old gym. It offers so much more. Foundry CrossFit in La Quinta is awesome. Gene is a great coach. He keeps your form in check, keeps you motivated & moving. Gene always give me get that last push I need to finish strong. Whats also cool about Foundry is some days we've worked out in the garage, others in the park, or on the track field nearby too. They offer a free workout every week so you can see if you like it. Second time I've been to Foundry CrossFit and my second review. Both experiences have been great. Gene provided some great coaching cues that I will use from here on out and everyone in the gym was very welcoming. Have all the equipment you would need to keep things "constantly varied," it's all in great shape, etc. It's clear that (a) they know their stuff; (b) love doing it; and (c) are in it for the long haul. My usual box is in Northern California, but I visit the La Quinta area regularly and I have to say that Foundry CrossFit is amazing. They have great coaches. I've taken classes from Gene, Tiff and Niki. They are all great. The facility is always clean and the equipment is maintained beautifully. Even with great coaches and a phenomenal facility, the best thing about this gym is their community. The members have been so friendly and welcoming since the first time I dropped in. My wife and I are from out of town and decided to drop in and do a workout. We were met by Gene who was very friendly. We quickly signed the waivers and paid the drop-in fee and was introduced to our instructor Tiffany. This was our first experience visiting a Crossfit gym other than our own. Tiffany was very knowledgable and experienced. My wife is still learning and Tiffany was very patient with her and took the extra time in helping her with her workout. At no point were we treated like visitors. We would definitely return to Foundry if we come back to the area. read more

I've been doing Crossfit at Foundry for 3 years now and I'm happy with the results but Olympic weightlifting is a challenge for me. Foundry has started a few new classes and one of them is called Fit and Firm. This is exactly what I've been wanting in a workout. A high intensity cardio circuit training without the intimidation of Olympic weightlifting. The coach is really motivating and keeps the class fun and up beat!
