I knew I could not change my health without someone else making some of the health decisions for me. Through the recommendation of a friend, I now take the morning classes with Marissa 3 to 5 times a week. She keeps a variety of ever changing exercise exercises that keep me from being bored or having to make decisions. She tells us what to do, and we do it. And I'm seeing results. When life is too hectic and I can't get in, I notice that my body really misses it. It's 30 minutes long so super fast and easy. She is uplifting and inspiring. Thrive also sell supplements and protein powder and I appreciate again not having to make additional decisions so I get them there. I'm grateful to support this place and share in how it is helping me feel like me again. And I appreciate how Marissa checks in with us if we've missed a class. In 6 weeks I was able to lose 25 pounds. I did this by following the meal plan and showing up for class 6 days a week at 5 am most days. Coach Kurt has been awesome! He's consistently supportive, accommodates any challenges I face, and encouraging when I make progress. The improvements that I've experienced throughout the course of a year has been substantial. I've also enjoyed participating in a few of the combat sessions. While coordination, especially in the boxing segments, isn't my strong suit, I genuinely appreciate Coach Gail's patience and the time she takes to offer guidance and corrections.
