The space is pristine, high-vibe, and equipped with the most advanced fitness and wellness tech I've ever seen in a local facility. The Ab machine that delivers 20,000 crunches in just 20 minutes while you relax? Total game-changer. It's like luxury biohacking made accessible. And the Vibrational soundbed -- a vibrational healing tool that's completely unique in this area -- elevates your nervous system and leaves you feeling deeply restored. Chad Ryan, the owner, is genuinely one of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met. His energy sets the tone, and you can feel the intentionality behind everything -- from the equipment choices to the spotless presentation of the space. I'm also super excited to explore some of the many classes they offer -- it's rare to find a gym that merges cutting-edge fitness with nervous system recovery and spiritual care. This place isn't just a gym. It's an experience.

They keep the AC at 76 which it's too warm for a work out. Water fountain temp is lukewarm at best. Some people enjoy cold water, you know. Their weight equipment is hard to understand and variety is poor as best. Their cardio machines brand, in my opinion, is the worst in the market, techno gym. A very cheap buy for a gym that expensive. Hard to use those without hurting your knees in my opinion. Which gym doesn't have ELLIPTICALS?? Unbelievable. That's literally the only cardio piece of equipment I'm able to use and they don't have them, such a basic piece of equipment, and front desk doesn't even know for sure if they are ever going to get them. Worst part is the price. Maybe it's because of the classes, but a gym that is $225 a month should be top notch in every sense of the word. An equinox gym type level. It's not very smart having the showers in one room and the toilets in a totally different one, and a sauna tiny room where everybody can see you. Maybe that's why the whole place was almost empty. Try it first before joining. May be worth it for the classes but for whoever doesn't do classes, I believe it's a waste of money.

My membership was terminated citing 'several complaints' funneled through one third party with zero specifics ever provided to me. I kept entirely to myself during every visit. After receiving no explanation I reached out to two members through social media seeking clarification -- a natural response when accused of unspecified wrongdoing. Having done CrossFit for seven years, I wanted a place that offered strength training, HIIT, and personal coaching, but also felt welcoming and motivating. Fit in 42 delivers on all of that. The community is strong and supportive, and the coaches give each person real attention. I mostly do the semi-private training sessions, max six people per class, and it feels like having a personal trainer who also keeps you connected to a team. I also love dropping into the 42 Strong HIIT classes for an extra push. The coaches here are excellent!! Every one of them sets the bar high for both expertise and encouragement. The workouts are challenging, well-structured, and varied, and the coaches know how to tailor them to individual goals. What stands out most is that this gym is more than just a place to work out. It is a place where you feel part of something, and where results and connection go hand in hand. Not only have I been meeting my fitness goals, but I've also made lifelong friends here. Joining Fit in 42 has been one of the best decisions I've made since moving to Palm Springs. Show up once and you'll see why.

There are three separate rooms with equipment for strength training, cardiovascular exercise, circuit training and a room for Zumba ($10 if your a hotel guest) and Spin classes (not sure the price). The cardio room has treadmills, elliptical machines & stationary bikes with a view of the outside pools. The machines are clean, new and very well maintained. There is a section next to it with free weights, two olympic benches, a smith machine and a curling bench. In the room across the way they have all the circuit training equipment which has about 15 stations for every part of your body including a stretch machine that I have never seen before lol. The staff is awesome and they greet you with a smile and help you with anything you need. They provide towels and direct you to your desired location after signing in. Matt is the new owner, although he has been coaching at this location for long before that. He has cultivated strong relationships with all of his clients and continues to do the same work with new members and drop-ins alike. Programming is top notch. The spirit of "Constantly Varied" lives in all of the workouts. Both consistently challenging for even the most elite athlete and scalable for the newest to Crossfit - I always leave knowing I've gotten the best possible workout. Classes are capped at 10 people, which is fantastic and contributes to a personal training experience. This is not typical for other boxes in The Valley and is a huge part of what elevates the experience at CFPS. The gym is now in a much larger space, which allows for open gym time for members, as well as a competitors' class that rivals Invictus in its intensity. Kisha Carr is one of the other amazing coaches. She also offers personalized meal plans and nutritional support. Alongside that, Carr Cellular Fitness is on site with a wide variety of supplements and support. I would never consider moving gyms. CFPS has changed the way I view fitness, and now, at 31, I am healthier and fitter than ever before. Thank you Matt and Kisha for a life changing experience.
