Not the company to hire for RV repair!…read more My a/c was not working in my RV, so I reached out to Red River mobile repair online through their web site. Since it was late Joe called back the next morning. After a few calls back and forth we finally talked about the problem, then time to meet at RV. Time to meet was changed twice, which was good because it would be that day not the next. I was 1 hr from his location. Upon arrival at 3:30 PM it was Ryan who arrived (one of his techs). We talked about the problem with the unit and he started to work. Went inside to the a/c to check to make sure all electrical parameters of the unit was correct. The unit was working correctly he told me so we walked outside to go upon the roof. Ryan checked the unit topside and said everything checked out good. So I asked him if he had parts to change out a vent cap that was broke. He said he had the vent cap and would install it. After install and everything put away he was filling out the receipt and asked if I had talked to Joe about the price and I said just the service charge. After a few minutes he said that the bill would be $460 cause the price of the plastic vent cap was $120 and the sealant was $40 and $300 for service call and his hourly charge. I understand about the service call charge cause of the distance, but to install a plastic vent that was at the most $20 and charge $160 for part and install is ridiculous. I myself will never use Red River Mobile Service again!

On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems.
