I also asked the salesman yesterday night to detail my car, but kept being told it's new, it's clean. I cleaned the vehicle myself this afternoon, brand new less than 10 miles when I purchased it and it has paint ripped off and rust under my car! I am livid. I will give this company a chance to fix the issue, but if they do nothing, I will definitely let the world know how they sale new cars, which means the older or previous owned ones probably should not be touched.

Also how is Noone in finance at all when I call. You have to have someone there to sell them cars and sign financing paperwork right?

I love the brand new building and the luxurious bays that allow you to explore a car in the A/C. The manager was very reasonable to deal with, he worked with us on the price and gave us a fair trade in value. Even Parker in the finance department was pleasant to work with. I just love my new car, the grand Highlander hybrid max platinum is so fun to drive and feels much more luxurious than I expected. Lots of power and very pretty car. Very disappointing and concerning experience with the Toyota service department in Wichita Falls…read more While traveling through the area, I discovered a 3.5-inch nail in my passenger-side rear tire, which was rapidly losing air. I stopped at Toyota because I still had a three-hour drive home. The technician inspected the tire, located the nail and leak, and told me the tire needed to be replaced. When I asked if he could put on my spare, I was instead told he would add air to the damaged tire and that I could drive home. I was then sent back onto the highway with a tire that was actively leaking air. This was an unacceptable safety risk, especially with my child in the vehicle. Thankfully, I was able to get the tire properly addressed before continuing my drive. I believe this situation was handled very poorly and hope Toyota management reviews the service department's safety procedures and decision-making. Customer safety should always come first.

I received a car fax report with no significant issues, but not much else on the history of the car. Within 2 weeks of purchase the car was already in the shop... bad sensors, bad spark plugs, 4 qts low on the oil, and a cracked catalytic converter. Dropped $650 on repairs. One week later, the car was making odd noises AGAIN. Mechanic looked at it and said..." you're low on oil". Filled it up and went on our way. One week following that... the car really goes on the fritz and ends up back in the shop. This time the mechanic shows me that the cam shaft had busted into 2 pieces!!! Are you serious??!! That cam shaft had to be around 1 inch thick in diameter!! The mechanic even showed me indicators that the engine had salvaged parts added at some point. I was so livid that I could barely see straight. Now I know engines, and I know that in most cases, this kind of thing doesn't happen under normal driving. At this point the car is now in the salvage yard. I literally pissed $6500 down the toilet in less than 1 month. Worst part is... the dealer said to me "I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do for you". I honestly think that dealers should bear some responsibility when it comes to used vehicles. A thorough inspection should be done on each and every vehicle that rolls into the lot, but in this case I can tell that clearly didn't happen. Needless to say that I will not be purchasing from that dealer again, and I caution anyone who is contemplating a purchase from a mom and pop dealer.
