I've never used an art hanging service before. So glad I did. Saved me HOURS of measuring, hanging, trying to find the right spot in the new house etc. These guys were quick, kind and respectful, and they nailed it on where things ended up going. We have used multiple times "FOSTERS" service installing art framed, family pictures, canvas, home decor, & memorabilia ... on the walls of our personal home. As a Builder and Int.Designer we appreciate quality work. We would like to give a shout out to Susan in scheduling, Mat & Chris in installation. Also Tyler whom has moved from Austin to Dallas/ Fosters whom has work in our home & in a family members home. Only a suggestion if running a little behind schedule...give the next appointment a courtesy call... if late for a on time appointment, with eta of late arrival. A response to the owner's response: It is not up to you to decide what we are happy with. We were never happy with the original hang job and expressed that. You basically left our house in a hurry after the first day of hanging and insured that you would come back and fix it if we wanted to. Again, we never felt like it was hung right in the first place and told you as such. As far as the damage goes, I will attach more photos below. I sent these to Susan and she ignored that part of my text. I have photos that I sent to Susan when we asked her to do the job showing that there is no damage on the fireplace. You know nothing about when other people were in our house. No one touched the mirror between when I sent that photo and you guys came and installed it. The damage was done when your first guy showed up and did not put a blanket down before doing the initial assessment. You were not there at that time to witness or not witness that. I have never met a business owner that does not want to make the customer happy. I have also never heard such BS as to blaming your own feelings on why you will not fix the job that you originally did not per our request. That was your way of saying we want to charge you another $900 again, but I will blame it on my feelings instead. I made an appointment and received very good communication about the appointment time and date. on the day of my appointment I received a call in the morning saying they had a cancellation and asked if they could come early. I said yes. Two guys arrived...one was clearly older and in charge. He had a total attitude and complained that he couldn't believe they only blocked out one hour for my job and it was going to cost more. I didn't understand what his problem was considering they had a cancellation and he said they didn't have an appointmoment after mine. He was impatient and rude to the guy helping him. He left a total mess for me to clean up and the guy helping him made excuses for him saying he was having a bad day. I had additional pieces to hang, but told him I would do it. I would never hire them again. Totally unprofessional. read more

If you read glowing reviews about them, they have probably been posted by friends of the owner. My experience was a disaster. The installers came late, left early without finishing and could have cared less about the quality of their work. I spent an extra $200 completing the job and fixing their shoddy work. Try someone else if you care about your artwork. read more

I hired this company twice to hang "gallery walls" in my home. On the first occasion, the gentleman that came to my home did an outstanding job hanging 15 frames in my stairway. The cost of the job was on track with the estimate provided. On the second occasion, the same gentleman again did a terrific job hanging 4 frames in a grouping and 3 additional pieces of framed art. However, he acknowledged that he was uncomfortable attempting to hang a large, walnut picture rail in my living room. Since hanging that picture rail was included in my project estimate, and ultimately not completed, I was shocked when the project total was double the cost I was quoted over the phone. When I called the owner Tommy to challenge the cost, he insisted that he could get the picture rail installed and offered to do so for free. I made the mistake of trusting him rather than insisting on a discount. Tommy did hang the picture rail in my home -- by gluing it to the wall! He didn't take the time to figure out the proper way to install it, and didn't just admit that it was beyond his scope. He hung it backwards (not using the hardware it came with) and glued it to my wall so it would stay. Well, it didn't. It started pulling off the wall ... taking chunks of drywall and paint with it. This "free" service is now costing me ~$500 in repairs. (Costs include time for a contractor to scrape glue off the picture rails and rehang, not to mention time to patch and repaint my wall.) When we notified Tommy of the issue, he simply said "Gee, shucks." Offered no amount of help towards repairs (even though photos were sent in showing the damage.) He simply offered to "work with us" (whatever that means?) on future projects. Which will obviously not be happening. Please know that the owner of this company is extremely unprofessional -- his estimates are meaningless, and he is hardly an expert at his craft if he believes gluing items to drywall is a good solution. Customer service is obviously also highly lacking -- the way to "make this right" sir: give us a whole or partial refund to defray our repair costs! SIMPLE. I urge you -- PLEASE do not hire this company if you value your time and money. read more
