I waited until the kind gentleman was done with his 1st customer & then he helped me. As he was helping me another customer entered the store. As I was about to pay, the lady finally came to the front of the store, but only to tell the the male staff member to help the person who came in behind me & then she walked away again. I figured she must be the manager because she was telling her fellow employee what to do. So I asked her if she was the manager because I wanted to make a point of telling her how helpful her employee had been to me. She said she was not & then went back to her phonecall. This lady really soured an otherwise pleasant adventure to your establishment. I hope the actual manager will have a stern word with her about optics & customer perception.

I asked him how much to stretch the shoe and to which he said 10$ to which i asked that if I should try the shoe on so that he knows how much further to stretch to which he rudely said no I must just leave the shoe and check after 1 week. Yesterday (30 June) I went in to collect my shoe only to find that he widened the shoe instead of expanding it, which I never at any point asked for. I was in utter shock with his behavior towards me when I pointed out that I needed it expanded. he give me the options and I clearly told him I wanted the shoe expanded by a size. Payment He then went on to say that I have to pay and that I must only cash and then when I queried him on the card machine below by which time another customer had entered the shop just behind me he suddenly changed his tune and says I can pay by card which I found very weird. I was pretty much forced to pay for something i didnt ask for. He then went on to say that he explained to me about his 2 different charges for stretching it wide or long which he CLEARLY did not because he was in a hurry to get rid of me that day when I went to drop of the shoe. He also went on to say that he's been running the shoe business for 25 years and how honest he is and he would never do such a thing. I am not surprised after reading the below mentioned experiences of other customers. This person has no regard for customer service and is very condescending and so rude that it shocks me as to how he's still in business. I would stay very clear of this place and would not recommend it to anyone. I'm sure there's many other reliable places that this. The person looks vert shady, dishonest and can not be trusted one bit and it is now very evident how he makes his living by ripping people off.

Dodman's did not return my calls after he phoned me and told me that his employee phoned in sick. The owner tried to fit the cover himself And really botched this simple job. I ended up driving in to the business 4 times to talk with the owner and on the 4th time I took the seat back. I took my seat and cover to Gledstone Upholstery in Cloverdale and they installed the cover with no issues in under a week. It looks great! I have dealt with Dodman's for over 30 years and with them being beside Burnaby Kawasaki you would have thought that their work with motorcycle seats would be good. I think the motorcycle seat expertise is no longer there and I will never be back. Don't take your motorcycle seat to Dodman's.
