Usually, we do 1 lesson per week for 10-12 weeks, but due to the weird summer (covid), we got in on 2 lessons per week for 4 weeks. Today, the teacher was very engaging with the kids, worked with what they did well, and worked on what they needed help with. The teacher to student ratio was good. (the most students per teacher is 4). These are things we really like about this school. Covid info: All staff are wearing plastic face shields, and all non swimmers are required to wear masks. Hand sanitizer is available and used upon entering the building. Chairs (around pool area) are in groups of 2 and spaced 6ft apart, they are also sanitized after they have been sat in. After the lesson is over, we leave out of a side door, and walk around the building to the parking lot.

It was an unwelcoming environment with workers giving use looks and laughing at use when we tried using the equipment they provided. We were very disappointed and will not be coming back.

When we started, the coaches were very good. Slowly, they put some of the coaches that are either not good with kids or less experienced. I put our child in gymnastics this early not so he could be the next Olympian but for the 'discipline' and 'exercise.' I would appreciate if the coaches for the child program actually enjoys working with kids and understand kids. My child is far from perfect but the program has gone downhill a bit and that's making me think twice about paying close to $22/lesson.

We have been bringing our now 2.5 year old to swim classes at Foss since she was 7 months old…read more About a year ago, they completely redid the pool and changing area and it's so much nicer and cleaner now, and I greatly appreciate that they added changing tables for the littlest swimmers outside of the bathrooms. Our daughter has made HUGE strides at Foss. When she started, she hysterically cried for the entire 30 minutes. It didn't phase her teachers and they were very patient. The class structure and repetition week over week helps her know what to expect and has allowed her master skills like back float. Highly recommend!
