We were never left questioning when or how work would get done. You should seriously choose Ofir construction for any home project moving forward. Slightly on the more expensive side, but still reasonable, and worth it to feel comfortable with the quality of work, and to have your project completed on time, which can be hard to come by with larger projects! All bathrooms look amazing now, but especially our master bathroom, which went from a drab bathroom with a tub and curtain rod, to an open concept bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, and custom vanity with vessel sinks - feels like a bathroom you'd find at the 1 hotel (Miami or Hanalei)!

On a word or mouth recommendation I contact Matt from WhiteHouse Builders and I cannot explain enough how glad I made that call. Within hours of contacting and speaking with Matt directly he showed up with his project manager Tyler and group of guys to quickly assist. He immediately began to take pictures of the damage, take measurements and reading on dry wall saturation, and then quickly got to work and cut out the saturated drywall pieces to mitigate potential greater damage and prevent mold. Matt then explained the entire process of working directly with our insurance company to ensure that restoration caused by the water damage would be taken care of promptly, professionally, and to the highest standards. Matt and his crew were literally with me every step of the way and made it so easy to not have to deal with an adjuster and/or numerous companies and vendors to complete the damage mitigating and restoration. Matt and his team were the only call I had to make; he and his full team were able to address every aspect of getting my home back whole again. The day the adjuster came to our home Matt and Tyler were there to meet and provided the insurance adjuster a detailed assessment and estimate to remove all damaged, and to complete the entire project which included re-painting all downstairs walls to match with new paint, and the removal and installation of new flooring downstairs. Honestly, the Insurance adjuster was impressed and no doubt as a customer it was extremely valuable to have Matt and Tyler there to advocate for us as the homeowner in making sure that corners were not cut and the insurance company was not just going to cover the minimum. When the restoration began the crew was professional, punctual, and workmanship was beyond my expectation; have to see before and after pictures to appreciate the awesome work. My home no doubt was a small project for WhiteHouse Builders, however, I appreciate the attention they gave to my wife and I, which was beyond my expectations. It seems like every day Tyler and/or Matt were checking in on us and giving us updates as the project progressed. Even after the project was complete a cleaning person was sent in to tidy up the dust. Even when all work was complete Matt called us to make sure we were happy with every aspect of the work that had been completed. With a single call to Matt and WhiteHouse Builders they made a very stressful ordeal seamless and painless. For my project WhiteHouse Builders handled everything in house with trusted professionals. This included a water mitigation crew, demolition crew, painters, plumbers, and floor installers with flooring that was taken care of and chosen through WhiteHouse Builders in house flooring company. Again, Thank you Matt, Tyler, and your entire crew. I couldn't be any happier with the process and the finished product that you all provided. I can not recommend you guys enough and will call WhiteHouse Builders first if I ever need any upgrades or work done to my home.

Get a text today 8/16, that says "we're booked on a lot of other jobs that are taking all of my attention. At this point it's probably best to go with another company." To say we're pissed is an understatement. As if a kitchen remodel (replacing cabinets not refacing) isn't already a time sucking process there are contractors like Tim/SCV Construction & Remodel that waste peoples time and don't have consideration for others. They may do good work but their communication stinks to the max and I will stear everyone I can away from them and to companies that value client experience regardless of the job dollar amount.

5 stars so far, and I hope to come back and update this review when our ADU is complete!…read more This review reflects our experience through the signing of our ADU contract. Construction has not started yet, so I cannot speak to the building process or the finished product. But everything we have experienced so far has been so positive that I felt Preferred Home Builders truly deserves five stars at this stage. After an extremely frustrating experience with a different contractor, I feel compelled to share what we learned for anyone embarking on the ADU journey: do not fall for charlatans, empty promises, lousy sketches, or requests for too much money upfront. Take your time, ask questions, and look for a professional who is willing to invest the time and expertise needed to understand your project before asking you to commit. That is exactly what we found in Nir at Preferred Home Builders. From our very first meeting, Nir has been professional, punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. Before we signed a contract, and before he even knew whether he would get our business, he invested more than 10 hours of in person meetings with us, in addition to extensive email communication. That level of commitment made a huge impression on us. Our ADU site presents some challenges because of the hilly terrain. Nir took the time to understand those challenges, assess them carefully, and come back to us with thoughtful options rather than making unrealistic promises or glossing over potential complications. Another thing that really impressed us was the level of detail that went into the budgeting process. We completed an extensive questionnaire covering everything from major decisions such as windows and doors to seemingly tiny details, such as how many sconces we wanted by the entrance and whether they should be on the left or right. The result was a remarkably detailed budget that leaves very little, if anything, to be figured out later. After our previous experience, the difference has been night and day. So, at this stage of the process, I cannot recommend Preferred Home Builders highly enough. Nir is clearly at the top of his game, and we are very happy to be working with him. I look forward to coming back to update this review once the ADU is completed, hopefully with another five stars and plenty of pictures to share!

We hired this team for a major structural renovation--adding a loft in our high-ceiling living…read moreroom, building a wet bar underneath it, and replacing our kitchen's back door and window with a beautiful bifold door. (Note: The furniture bar cabinets and library were added later on and were not part of this contractor's project). From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. Additionally, all of the finishes--from the drywalling to the trim work and paint--were done with high-quality materials and top-tier craftsmanship. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend them!
