They were supposed to pick us up and tow a car with a flat tire. We waited for 3 hours. They never showed up. After 2 hours, they quit answering their phone. Horrible customer service!! If I could give zero stars I would. read more

WORST Experience ever! The driver had some loose straps with hooks just laying on the tow trailer. he proceeded to wench my car onto the trailer and a hook of a strap ripped my tire extremely beyond repair. He realized this and stated it was his fault and that they would replace my tire. The guy that came to tow my vehicle to the Dealership was a liar and he blocked his number from me. The lady at the place of business that he was towing for would not help at all and was very rude. She stated all they could do was send him an email. Absolutely TRASH... left me waiting for 3 hours and still never came!!! Called the dispatcher and the excuse was "we are really busy.. let me check on that" I really wish I could leave zero stars. This company never came to pick up my car. I had an appointment set up through progressive for them to pick me up between 2 and 4. They kept telling me that it would be an additional 40 minutes when I called. The receptionist was RUDE and hung up in my face. This company should not take on projects that they don't have the manpower to execute. Terrible Service. Please call a professional company. read more

When your vehicle is stuck in the middle of a main road. It's locked up ; you cannot put it in neutral; this is the tow company my insurance dispatched. They estimated 120 minutes & when I called to ask if they could get there sooner. I was told they had to get their oil change done on the flat bed first. Fortner's Tires - Car on truck - Tires Near Me - Theodore, Alabama

THIS COMPANY KNOWINGLY LEFT ME STRANDED !! My car would not start so I called my roadside service. A few minutes later I received a text message telling me that Fortner would be the provider. After waiting 1 1/2 hours, I called them to ask where they were. The woman who answered told me that she verbally told the roadside agent that they did not have a truck to send out, and she said the agent sent over the request anyway. She also said she (Fortner) immediately canceled the request. After filing a complaint with my roadside company, I was told that was not correct. The customer service supervisor explained the process to me. It is an automated system; the roadside agents do not reach out by phone to speak with providers before sending a request. Also, a cancellation would have generated a second provider automatically. I was also informed that if a provider decides that they cannot fulfill the service request they can easily cancel at any point so another company can be sent out. Fortner did not do this! Instead they knowingly left me stranded and then lied about it and blamed the roadside agent! In addition to leaving me stranded, Fortner's failure cost me $130 because I was forced to have my car towed by a family member's AAA service who would only tow to the nearest repair shop (as opposed to my regular shop). That shop grossly over charged me for the most simple "repair". I had a previous roadside disaster one year earlier. Again the provider no-showed when I needed a jump start. While speaking with the roadside supervisor, I asked if he could look up the provider for that previous incident. IT WAS FORNTER!! So BEWARE, when considering using Fortner for any of their services. I would never do business with this company! (Tip: If you ever need roadside assistance, make contact with the provider as soon as you get the text with their info. I will be doing this from now on. This way they will not be able to lie to you later and say they never accepted the request.) read more

These guys are great! I was a panicked Mom with a kid stuck in a ditch and the driver got there fast and the office lady was so nice and courteous helping me through my stressful issue. state farm had horrible customer service but the Fortner office told me just what to do and eased my worries! I have had a lot of cars towed but this is who I will use from now own. save there number now !! -5 Stars. They told my insurance company that they would come and service my car. The ETA was 60-75 minutes. They never showed up. They would not answer the phone for me or my insurance company. I wasted two hours waiting for them and never even got a response as to why they didn't show. I am a loyal customer who pays well for good service. Do not waste your time with this company. It is the most disrespectful and poor customer service I have ever received. read more

If I could give them a 0 star, I would. I work for an insurance company and had to call this place for information on a customer. I spoke to Joanna. This was the worst customer service experience I've had to deal with in a long time. She was extremely rude, and when I asked to speak with someone else who had a better attitude, she refused. Needless to say I will never use this place personally, and definitely won't refer my customers to them either. This place needs to work on their customer service.
