Company sends out unsolicited mails and make false promise of removing you from their mailing list no matter how many times you ask.

Received non-stop mailers from this place. They violated several VA guidelines in their statements and I asked them to stop sending them to me. They refused. Submitted a complaint on the BBB (big mistake, they side with the business) and Forthright DENIED having my name in their database. After sending copies of all the false fliers, they then 'promised' to remove my name. Never happened. Still received countless false claims in the mail. After that they DEFLECTED responsibility to a third party who sends out the mailers. Stated that it will stop. It did not. BBB just told me to stop contacting them (FF must be paying them) and with 6 complaints they still get an A+ rating. False statements and disrespectful to military members. read more

I was working with Michael Rodriguez of Forthright Funding on a refi for my home. He seemed to be very knowledgeable or at least was good at sounding like he was. I told him up front that I had no money to work with and he said that was fine. After going through the process of signing E-DOCS we got to the very end of the closing where a notary came to my house for the final signing . The notary said I need to pay 269.00 for some type of fee, I told her I was under the impression I wasn't paying any money down on anything and it was agreed upon. So I ended up sending the notary away without signing the document. I guess they called MR. Rodriguez and told him what happened, he called me with an attitude asking why I sent the notary away. I told him, because the agreement was I wasn't paying any money into this refi and you agreed to that. He went on to tell me that the 269 was for taxes or some crap. So, I told him, you weren't being very Forthright in our dealings and hung up on him. He harassed me for a couple days via email asking me to call him back despite my messages to him that we were done. All in all, I'd call this company a scam. read more

Got a flyer mailed to me with some pretty attractive numbers. I called and talked to Sarah Owens - who was AWESOME. She ran the numbers and said she could save me $370/month. When we closed the savings were actually $405/month. She handled my mortgage with the utmost professionalism and diligence. She always kept in communication and updated me every step along the way. I started the process of refinancing my home with Ryan Hull at Forthright funding. I was refinancing for a lower interest rate. After 3 month waiting for the subornation letter from the company that has my second mortgage, I finally had enough and decided to go with someone else. Ryan Hulls attitude was uncaring and unprofessional. I had sent his several emails that got no reply. I called the company with the second mortgage 3 times and they told me that they had not received no request for the letter. When I told Ryan about this all I got was excesses. He sounded very knowledgeable on the refinancing, very sincere, kind and thoughtful. We were hesitant at first due to bad experience a few years ago but after talking with Justin, we decided to sign up after several days. He was the one that assisted us all the way through the refinance process up to the final closing.
