The team works with your schedule and doesn't seem to bombard you with spam because they trust in their work/reputation. Build was over in one day. Painting was over in a few hours. Prices were competitive and it looked like the quality was better than the Home Depot/Lowes parking lot samples. The owner, Kevin, was very helpful when he came out to measure placement within our property and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had several features we wanted to customize so this was not a standard "out of the box" build. An antique door and window from Craigs List and window panels from Lowes were no problem or added expense for his crew to put in to our specifications. All was done within one day. This summer when our falling apart fence needed to be replaced we checked with several other companies and DFW Shed & Fence. Pricing was all within the same range. Again, Kevin came out to measure and answer all questions and gave us options so we felt confident in using him again to build our new fence. The two man crew was quick and efficient with the tear down and stayed late that day to complete the new construction and clean up. Kevin also showed up that day to check on the work being done. In a few weeks after drying out, we will stain it ourselves. We are very please with the results for both the studio shed build and fence construction. A five star rating and we would use them again without hesitation.

And nothing that could not be resolved. Write down your questions & concerns. Then begin. Take notes For us. It was a simple 8x10 Premier Ranch model. Black with a metal copper colored roof. Came out fantastic. But first the back story. I was very clear in my expectations. Why? My sister in-law had an issue right up with 10x20 shed. A larger project. But not so much. She was told buy Ken the on-site Sales manager it there wouldn't be a permit needed for the city of Grapevine, TX. Wrong. That it would be a 1 day promised job and 1 man showed up. She made a call and had the permit taken care of an clear an extra man on the job. As for us. The crew showed up without our Cooper colored roof. They indicated the code on the order was incorrect. Made a call before the crew unloaded the supplies and before any work was to take place. I did not want a shed being built and in progress waiting for roofing material. You can imagine how that might go. Possible out of stock or unavailable scenario, etc, i wasn't going to allow that to happen. They immediately went back to the Grand Prairie plant and picked up the copper colored roof. The rest was a clean, organized and tight job. Love the fit & finish of this Tuff Shed. Again. Buyers should always be in control and do your homework. Way less problems. Don't let any contractor start a job without all the materials. Then they have the control. If it's promised in 1 day all components of the job need to be present. I gave the 5 Stars because Ken was responsive, non evasive & followed up. But you must manage the project to some degree. Nothing today is on auto-pilot. See something. Say something.

I had an unfortunate experience with this person when I needed a repair for my computer. I found…read morehim through Yelp while looking for a local computer repair service, and he contacted me with a quote. I agreed to the terms and paid in advance. Initially, I was supposed to pay only for the replacement part, but when he sent me an invoice for the full amount, I went ahead and paid the entire sum. I specifically pointed out that the invoice did not make clear that the repair service had not yet been performed, and he corrected it. After receiving my payment, however, the problems began. I waited more than a week for the replacement part to arrive. When I contacted him asking about the part and when the repair could be completed, I was told there were family issues and the repair was postponed. After approximately a month of waiting and still having no repair completed, I finally requested a refund. I was then told there had been a death in the family and that he could not refund me because he did not have access to a computer. He promised that I would receive my refund by the end of that week. That was the last I heard from him. I contacted him again the following week attempting to recover my money and received no response. At no point did I receive the replacement part, the repair service, or a refund. I paid in full, my computer was never repaired, and my money was never refunded. This has been an incredibly unpleasant and frustrating experience. I was patient and understanding through multiple delays and explanations, but ultimately I was left without the service I paid for and without my money. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this repair service against paying anything in advance.

YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.

John John with Fort Worth Fixers has been a huge help to me, especially after my foot surgery when I needed things around the house made easier and more functional. He switched the door on my dryer so I could access it more easily, repaired my toilet after a plumber said the whole unit needed to be replaced, and it has worked perfectly ever since. He also restored my front door beautifully, installed curtain rods and blackout curtains, recaulked my bathroom, took apart and cleaned my washer, fixed drawers in my dresser and nightstand, and hung a towel rack and so much more. John John is incredibly mechanical and skilled at fixing things that others often want to replace. He saved me a lot of money and handled every job with care and professionalism.
