And my night guard, that they pushed me to buy, hurts my teeth, I can't even wear it because they're all sensitive now!! I never returned to Dr. Salim to address my filling breaking because of her impatience with my husband. She was HITTING his tooth asking if it hurts because he couldn't get numb! Husband needed more dental work done but he said we are never returning. And we didn't. Fast forward to now: we are having to pay another dentist to redo the work Dr Salim performed. I had to wait a couple of years to be able to pay for it AGAIN. So that's why I've just now updated my review. I go in this week actually to have the dental work fixed by a different office. I cannot in good conscience leave my shining review, don't go to Ora. The staff are all nice enough but Dr Salim is pushy and impatient. I realize that now after having been to another dental office and received much better service. Don't even consider coming here, unfortunate to say. Because you could end up like me, paying for dental work over again.

I went there to get my wisdom teeth removed in May. My initial introduction went well, Raul was the…read moredental hygienist or assistant, he was very nice and made me feel extremely comfortable. Then I saw Dr. Lambourbe, he concluded that I would need to use their third party dentist to remove my wisdom teeth. The problems came with the "outside" dentist and his assistant that come into the office every other week for the removal. The assistants name was Olivia and she had an attitude. I wasn't sure if it was because I decline the additional services, or customer service just wasn't a priority. It was an unpleasant interaction from beginning to end. Before leaving I asked if there was ice I could use and she said I don't know this isn't my office. So when I went to the front to pay, I asked the staff and Olivia said I was just about to get it. Well, I wouldn't know because of your previous response. The paperwork I was given didn't have any signatures for the prescriptions. Then Olivia said I was just about to do that. So then that should have been done before handing me my paperwork. Then the trouble came with filling prescription. I let them know there was issue and if they could let the dentist know. 3 hours go by, no one calls, so I call back. Whoever answered the call was rude, asks me if " I'm in pain?". It was a mess. Then as time goes by I realized I was never given a follow up appointment. So I call to inquiry and the receptionist was like okay well do you notice any pain or discomfort. I said no but I wanted to make sure I was looked at and she says " Well everything is good on our end". I was so turned off. It felt like I was just a transaction, no concern for care. Would never be back or recommend a person to experience what I did.

We stopped coming to this office after a few mishaps with our care and the general experience with…read morethe office staff. We had started coming in 2020 and were initially impressed with the thoroughness of the exam and kindness of the clinical staff. The dental hygienist was especially kind and helpful in explaining everything she was doing or recommending. That said, the end of the visit was off-putting. After the cleaning, x-rays, and exam, they ushered me into a room to discuss recommended treatments and payment. My husband was recommended veneers and other dental work to total over $11,000 after insurance. We declined most of what they recommended with the exception of the root canal. Looking back, we should have gone to an endodontist for his root canal, but Dr. Walia represented that she could complete it in the office. I drove my husband to the appointment, which ended up taking 4.5 hours after they initially told me 2. I took him home with a temporary crown, which fell off shortly after arriving home despite following the strict instructions to not introduce solids for a few hours. Upon going to a new dental practice, we were informed that the initial root canal was improperly done and needed further evaluation by an endodontist. Our last visit to this practice was in 2022 after we had an incident with billing and noticed the high turnover of staff at this location. In 2023, I received a bill from the practice despite not receiving care for almost one year. The bill was from 2021. I called the office who informed me that they had "forgotten" to submit to insurance and had attempted to file with the insurance carrier we had provided (United) in 2022. I informed them that the care I was being billed for occurred in 2021 and we had a different insurer at that time (Cigna), so United would likely deny the claim. The office staff attempted to tell me I'd need to still pay the bill or it would be sent to collections despite the care being performed 2 years prior and not going through the proper channels of filing with insurance. I had paid the coinsurance amounts due at the time of service and had receipts proving this information. They finally dropped the billing, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and frankly, felt fraudulent. We will not come back to this office due to the lack of organization and poorly done root canal. I strongly feel that we should have been referred to an endodontist for this procedure, but am concerned this was not done in order to generate more money for the practice. I would caution others from receiving care here.

When I realized it had been two years I figured I'd better get with the program. I checked my insurance for offices close to home and Dr. Batton's name came up. I could literally walk here if I wasn't a lazy bum, so decided to give them a shot. From the moment I spoke with Gena to schedule my first appointment I knew I'd love the place. She was extremely helpful, upbeat and genuinely nice. When I arrived she knew who I was before I said anything, so apparently she has ESP (or she's intelligent and aware enough to put two and two together). I waited just a few minutes before Christie, the dental hygienist called me back. On the phone I told Gena that I had spinal surgery 6 weeks ago and Christie was already aware of my history. She was concerned about my level of comfort and continued to inquire throughout the visit. Christie was very easy to get along with and did such a great job cleaning my teeth. I love the way they feel right now :) The dentist I saw was Dr. Wilkinson. When he came in we talked for a moment before he examined my teeth and I found him to be both professional and caring. Everything went so smoothly! I truly love this place and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.
