There is a large city pool also included in the park that has a brand new structure, including a very nice competitive swim area stands, diving area, etc, along with changing rooms, showers, concessions, etc. There is also a putt putt course located within the park. The location is staffed with helpful attendants who are on duty all hours of operation. This is a distinct departure from what I have seen at several other local facilities in the River Valley. They have pitching machines, batting cages, and an outdoor space with turf. There is plenty of space for several individuals and even teams to practice at the same time. They have facilities for birthday parties and they offer packages for birthday parties or other similar type events. The prices are very reasonable - at least in my opinion - again based on what I have seen the cost of other local facilities to be. I'm not positive about this, but it almost seems like the prices might have come down a little bit compared to what I recall it being when they first opened a few years ago. They've been open somewhere between three and five years. They also have a pro shop with lots of goods to purchase, including bats and gloves, batting gloves, helmets, and they offer discounts, depending on your level of membership, not including whatever sales they may have going on at the time. You can arrange for lessons in advance, and those are reasonably priced with discounts for those depending on your membership level.
