My husband and I did two escape rooms while visiting Hot Springs. One was a traditional escape room with puzzles. The second was the owner's newest creation. It was interactive, fun and challenging. The owner was very excited to share it with us. Enjoyed the live introduction vs just watching a video like most escape rooms. We will definitely come again next time we are in town! My wife and I have tried several escape rooms. We tried A Clinical Trial here and enjoyed it (mostly since we best it easily). I'd say this is a great room for those with little or no experience. The clues are very linear - you are really only solving one puzzle at a time. They are very generous with hints and there're isn't much misdirection - most of the items you find in the room really are used to solve the puzzles. We did the 'Clinical Trial' and it was super fun (although we did feel DUMB during some of the maze). The owner was super into what he does, and even talked to me about how some of the games/rooms were programmed by himself. He is crazy smart, from just the small conversation we had. This was probably the hardest escape room I have ever done!! We did the Alice in wonderland themed room and it was very difficult. I like that if you take too long in something they will give you clues. And if you don't get it they just skip that part for you so you're not stuck on the same one the whole game. Very interactive and have to think out of the box. read more

Played the escape room for the first time. I had no clue what to expect or how to play prior to arriving. So I just played along with family and we managed to escape before the 1-hour timer went off. The place was easy to find. The room was set up mysteriously, but it could be nicer. The hints were printed and spit out just in time. It felt like my brain just got an exercise. The room we played in was family friendly. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in town with an hour to spare, this might not be a bad choice. Free public parking within walking distance. Nearby parking meters take coins. It was the cheapest parking that I've ever seen at a tourist attraction. Have fun! read more

Great place! We did 2 rooms today. I felt stupid doing the Alice one .... But we still got out! thank you for the clues. We also got out of the Home Alone room again with clues and EXTRA puzzles. So visited Hot springs on a whim with my husband and two kids (15 & 11) for a quick trip. We love doing escape rooms and found this place. Rooms were fun and also level appropriate. We did one Friday night. Enjoyed it so much went back and did two more the next night. Price was good. Have paid way more for less fun. They also had coffee and hot cocoa in the main area. Which was nice on a cold night. The coconut chocolate cookie coffee was fantastic. We did the Murder in silver city, wonderland, and the clinical trial room. All very challenging but very fun. Fantastic escape rooms, and amazing people. I visited A Narrow Escape for the first time last summer with a group of teachers. We had a great time with A Clinical Trial, which included a variety of puzzle types and let each member of our team "shine." I've recommended this room to several friends and colleagues. When they opened a second room I jumped at the chance to play! A Bionic Dilemma was so fun, and I loved that there was an interactive robot character! I took a group of my Computer Science students on a field trip to this room, and Shane led a discussion and Q&A session afterward. Don't hesitate to check out A Narrow Escape! A Narrow Escape was our first escape room we have ever been to! There were 8 of us and we split into two groups to complete two different puzzles to race to the finish! The owner was absolutely amazing! He explained and gave us tips and tricks that really helped us "first timers". His rooms were well thought out and the story lines will engulf you with how much he paid attention to the small details! He designs all of the rooms himself and it is absolutely impressive to see the art he has created in these puzzles. The prices were the best I have ever found in an escape room! I used this activity kick off a Bachelor party. Only one of our six had done an escape room before. We chose to do the Clinical Trial room and found it very enjoyable. The backstory was fun and the puzzles were clever and entertaining to figure out. We ended up escaping with 15 minutes to spare, but I'd chalk that up to having a relatively smart group. This was definitely the highlight of the night. And a big shout-out to the staff here, who were awesome. We had so much fun!!!! The escape rooms are very carefully planned. They obviously put a lot of thought into them. They also have a full scale 'robot wars' game that we played afterwards. What a blast! Up to 4 players control the robots by remote control and the robots perform battle on a platform right in front of you. Came here with some friends and our kids this past Sunday! This was my first time doing an escape room and I truly enjoyed it. The clues were fantastic and the level of difficulty was just right. They had some souvenirs for sale in the main area. The guy was witty and personable. They asked if we needed to use the restroom before we started which was great. We called and they made special arrangements to open for just the two of us. It was our first escape room experience and all of the genius electrical contraptions made the interaction so engaging. From the moment we walked in, the excitement they had for what they do was evident, to deliver a challenging yet fun experience. A wonderful experience for the entire family. We had 2 adults and 6 children, ages 9-16. Room was tough enough to challenge everyone, but had puzzles that everyone could contribute in helping to solve. We were in the Bionic room and it was great fun. Tried the Wonderland room with 3 adults and an 8 and 12 year old....had a GREAT time!! Have done Escape Rooms in other cities, but this was really so much better. Very well designed with something for everyone regardless of experience or age. Great clues and wonderful staff made this a very memorable occasion for all of us.
