My granddaughter started to play softball at the Sallisaw Sports Complex. The complex is very well maintained on and off the field. There are plenty of items to choose from at the concession stand, which is a nice treat for the kids after a game.
The officials running the game seem to call good plays and are patient with the kids.
Parking can be a little tight, but there is overflow parking.
The only downside is if you want to watch the games, you are expected to pay $4 per person. If you're a parent, you are expected to pay also. They only accept cash for entry, and the concession snacks are the same way also.
Unsure why they charge admission due to parents paying a good deal to sign their kids up for baseball/softball.
Other than this issue, the park is very nice and has covered seating, which is nice during the summertime. read more
