The facility is fantastic in so many ways and the folks that I have met there are all friendly and helpful. Using the indoor track is easy and works in any kind of weather. The facility has generous hours that work for just about everyone. We have children and they enjoy the kid's area each time we visit. Thanks to the use of the fitness center, I have successfully lost 30 pounds (so far) in the past several weeks/months and plan to continue my journey to improved health.

Pathways have been added to get park goers from point to point without the need to trudge through muddy wet ground when it is rainy season. The playground surfaces are all weatherproof, which is a fantastic addition to the playground. This park has plenty of space for picnic and pavilions for parties. It has a train that operates seasonally through the park that features a tunnel and other exciting activities. There is a large city pool also included in the park that has a brand new structure, including a very nice competitive swim area stands, diving area, etc, along with changing rooms, showers, concessions, etc. There is also a putt putt course located within the park. Additionally, the park includes a tennis center and tennis lessons as well as organized tennis events and a tennis league.

My only compliant is the system was not set up to accept multiple coupons in a single transaction. The only downside is if you want to watch the games, you are expected to pay $4 per person. If you're a parent, you are expected to pay also. They only accept cash for entry, and the concession snacks are the same way also. Unsure why they charge admission due to parents paying a good deal to sign their kids up for baseball/softball. Other than this issue, the park is very nice and has covered seating, which is nice during the summertime.

The location is staffed with helpful attendants who are on duty all hours of operation. This is a distinct departure from what I have seen at several other local facilities in the River Valley. They have pitching machines, batting cages, and an outdoor space with turf. There is plenty of space for several individuals and even teams to practice at the same time. They have facilities for birthday parties and they offer packages for birthday parties or other similar type events. The prices are very reasonable - at least in my opinion - again based on what I have seen the cost of other local facilities to be. I'm not positive about this, but it almost seems like the prices might have come down a little bit compared to what I recall it being when they first opened a few years ago. They've been open somewhere between three and five years. They also have a pro shop with lots of goods to purchase, including bats and gloves, batting gloves, helmets, and they offer discounts, depending on your level of membership, not including whatever sales they may have going on at the time. You can arrange for lessons in advance, and those are reasonably priced with discounts for those depending on your membership level.
