Had a procedure done by the previous dentist (Dr.Pollack) and when the new dentist did the exact same procedure, I had issues and tooth sensitivity that genuinely was unbearable. Strike 2:I had an issue with checking out after a different procedure and felt like I was being charged more than i should have, plus what I was expected. Then when I came with physical receipts, the whole front office looked confused. Not only looking confused but the young lady that was checking me out... she not only had things to say but she said microagressions towards me. It wasn't that I couldn't pay for my services but rather what I was estimated and what I actually had to pay AFTER the procedure was done was more than double. aka hundreds of dollars. im not even giving this business the chance to hit strike 3!! i won't be returning. I've never been "required " to call them to keep an appointment. I even received a reminder appointment text 2 hours before the scheduled time saying "we are looking forward to seeing you!" I will never return because of the way the office staff treated me as their customer.

I changed dentists to Orchards Grove Family dentistry, Dr Katie Makken. In hindsight it was the…read moreworst decision I made in the last ten years. At first they seemed nice and understanding but very soon they didn't give anything about my opinion, She didn't give me advise, she just gave some possibilities and I had to pick one. The decision was to go with implants and a upper denture. Besides the implants, I paid almost $10,000.00 for an ill fitting denture that had not the correct color. She started out with making a hole in the denture whgile fitting the connectors for the implants. She repaired that terribly. A week later the denture broke because of the bad fit. She repaired that with a sort of black glue that didn't look good. The front of the denture was so high that it touched my sinuses and I had a headache the whole day. She didn't want to lower the front part and didn't want to raise the base with 3 mm. When I complained for the second time she handed me a letter with the message that I had to find a different dentist and was to welcome anymore. After I had a headache for about a year I found a very good dentist who at once lowered the front and my headache is almost totally gone. This very good dentist is Jennifer Loveland and she is in Tega Cay. This is a dentist you want to be working in your mouth. For the denture she will start over.

They are super friendly and will go beyond what their jobs require to help their patients. We had a situation recently where our son was in pain due to a dental issue. We called Sunday morning when he was unable to eat because of it, and despite being a weekend the dentist on call gave us multiple helpful solutions, and was even willing to come in the office to see us. We decided it wasn't serious enough to ask him to come in on his day off, but were super impressed and appreciative that he was willing. We wound up coming in the following Monday. They made time for us even though it was a last minute appointment, and Ashley did an amazing job resolving the problem he had. He was nervous that it was going to be painful, but she worked with me and him to calm him down, and when finished he said it wasn't really painful after all. It's a great comfort to know that the next time we need dental care that this wonderful team is there!
