Dr. Bryson did my root canal retreatment. It ended up being a three step process instead of two (due to infection, not of any fault of Dr. Bryson's) and it was finished up today. Dr. Bryson and his assistant Rhonda are amazing! They always made sure I was as comfortable as possible, both during and after the procedure. I get really nervous during dental procedures, and they would always talk to me and let me know what was happening, step by step. They are friendly, professional, and genuinely nice people. If I have to have another root canal procedure at any point in time, he is the only one in the Charlotte/Gastonia area I will go to. I highly recommend Dr. Bryson. Update: 3 days after the final procedure and my tooth feels better than ever! I couldn't be happier! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Nicole, the receptionist, was informing me that a CT scan cannot be sent digitally because the file is too large. As I was inquiring about zipping the file, she rudely and loudly interrupted with 'yeah, we're NOT doing that. I don't know how to do that, and we're just not doing that, okay?' Many other ways to handle than jump down my throat while trying to help explain how the practice might better manage digital files with free software. I had a terrible pain in my front teeth. I was referred to Charlotte Endodontics by my dentist. Charlotte Endo took a serices of x-rays and I was told "nothing really stands out". Doctor Joe said he "thought" the problem was coming from a particular tooth but nothing definative stood out. He ended up doing a root canal on his suspected tooth and while under anethesthics there was no pain (obviously). Turns out he did the root canal ON THE WRONG TOOTH. I returned home and after the anethestic wore off the pain was as bad as ever. I called his office and they said they could schedule me the following week. Over the weekend the pain was so bad I had to go the the 24-hour emergency dental clinic in Charlotte to have them do an emergency extraction (at an additional cost of $500 to get rid of the pain). Upon inspection I was told there was a gapping hole in a lower wisdom tooth and that it needed to be extracted. The procedure was not easy as the problem went all the way down to the bone. That week I sent a letter to Charlotte Orthodontics and told them there was no need for a further appointment and that the root canel was done on the wrong tooth; that I was in such dire pain that I had to have the tooth extracted. I asked to get a refund for the $1350 Charlotte Endo took from me for the root canal on the wrong tooth. I still have not heard a word from them or even received an apology. Obviously, I will never return to them if I need further endo work. I will probably have to go to small claims court to address this obvious malpractice case which will just mean more headaches and added cost in time. If you need endodontics work, save yourself a lot of problems and look elsewhere! read more

By far the BEST dental experience I have ever had. I'm not sure there are kinder people on this earth than Dr. Miller. I have had a nightmare situation with a particular tooth over the last few years and had to have a root canal. Amazingly, this was the most stress and pain free procedure I have had done throughout this whole saga. I went to this practice for a root canal and was scheduled with Dr. Schnoor. I presented with a tooth that had caused on and off mild pain. I was immediately pressed to have the root canal THAT DAY. I was not given time to go home and think about treatment options. I was told the doctor blocked off time for me to have the procedure and therefore I needed to have it then; which was not my understanding during the scheduling of the procedure. To make matters worse, during the procedure one of the metal files used to clean and shape the root broke off. In my case there was likely no way to retrieve the file so it was left in place and I was informed after the procedure was complete. Unfortunately there is no way to know what the long term outcome of the tooth will be when this happens. Since the procedure I have continued to have pain in the tooth at a much higher level than before the treatment. Even two months later the tooth hurts more than before. Since I am having issues with the tooth and will more than likely need further treatment for this tooth, I asked for a refund. I was offered 10% off which is not acceptable. I have called back numerous times and Dr. Schnoor refuses to talk to me. When I called he always has Nicole talk to me which takes weeks to hear back from her, if I hear back at all. I have had to visit my general dentist to get another x-ray to see what is going on. Dr. Schnoor has not offered to recheck the tooth or to refund the service. The handling of this situation has been absolutely unacceptable and disappointing. When considering this practice, beware of poor service, immense pressure to have procedures and a complete lack of response when having an issue post treatment. read more

Dr.Miller and Mila were phenomenal!! I had tooth pain and was told by my dentist I would need a root canal and I called yesterday and got an appointment for the next day at 10 am. I came in and the staff were so sweet, I have severe dental anxiety and Dr.Miller kept conversation light to put me at ease so I was aware of everything he was doing, he was quick and "matter of fact". He was done in 40 minutes and I have total relief from my pain. He explained next steps clearly and I am so glad I called them and got set up with an appointment quickly and the service was quick as well. Follow up in 2 weeks but so satisfied with them! I was recommended to this practice by my regular Dentist Dr.Seti Bryd and I saw Dr. Schnoor he did an amazing job and I didn't feel any pain. He was patient and explained things to me and I felt confident in his skills so much so I had him examine some work I got done a few years ago. The office staff is actually very nice. The first time I called I was turned off by the receptionist and cancelled my first appointment however there are several receptionist and when I called back the receptionist was pleasant and even got me in the same day since it was an emergency. When I checked out the receptionist helped me understand my dental insurance better and even set up a payment plan for me. Overall I was extremely pleased I would definitely go to this office and this DDS you'll be happy. read more

I just went to see Dr. Miller this morning for a root canal and he's everything that all the other reviewers said about him and his office staff. Just a fabulous experience or as good as an experience as root canal can be! He was very patient, kind, and extremely understanding. He asked me many times during the procedure how I was doing and when I wasn't doing well he stopped and adjusted accordingly. Hopefully I will not need another procedure done but just in case I do I would definitely go back to Charlotte endodontics. Just to let you know I am a very big baby when it comes to pain and seriously this was painless -the worst part about it was me not being able to breathe through my nose -which was completely psychological on my part! I have to say I am terrified of the dentist , but had to save my front tooth! Dr. Miller and Melissa the assitant were simply amazing. THis root canal was a piece of cake! He is caring and funny and just takes the fear completely away. He is so good at what he does, you forget it is a root canal!
