Dr. Tadrissi with Hayley as his assistant did an expert job on my root canal. Not one time did I feel any pain during or after the procedure. Going in I was uncertain if a root canal could be done and the tooth would then have to be pulled. They saved it and I am so grateful. Great job! read more

I called them to make an appointment and luckily was able to get in same day due to a cancellation. However, 10 minutes after making the appointment my wife said we have an issue with our dental insurance and asked me to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, they told me I owed them a $50 cancellation fee due to the same day cancellation. I tried to explain that it was a same day cancellation because it was a same day appointment that I made 10 minutes earlier. They didn't care - they REALLY wanted that $50 cancellation fee! Terrible customer service! read more

I had a major dental problem that the team at Ballantyne Endodontics made look routine. I was referred to them by my dentist and told that Dr Reiter was the best. If I had any doubts, there she was on the cover of a dental magazine. My procedure sounded brutal when explained, but Dr. reiter. Was a complete pro and made me feel comfortable. A year later all is well and I've had no issues. Thanks to the team at Ballantyne Endodontics. read more

I don't want to tell everyone how great they are because I like that it is my secret lol. However, I end up telling everyone anyone because they are amazing. I have had root canals, but I have also had pain in teeth that I assumed were root canal waiting to be treated and they were so honest about the fact that I didn't need a root canal. When the root canal was performed they were so gently and they go out of their way to make sure you are as relaxed and as comfortable as possible. It truly was the only root canal where I didn't have pain the next day. When I didn't need a root canal they made sure to explain (Two times!) where the pain could be coming from and told me how to treat it. They really are a gem. Happy to have found them and you will be too! read more

First visit- Lots of paperwork up front and was told by the front desk receptionist that payment was required prior to work .. so hopefully it will go well ! Never been forced to pay before being treated.. so we'll see ! Just so we're clear .... this is a 5 Star review Two thumbs way up Best experience ... Definitely the place to go for any Endodontist work read more

I went for an evaluation and then a root canal. The experience was great despite being in tooth discomfort. Every staff member was pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Tadrissi explained everything he was doing and I was pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend this Practice. read more

my husband was referred to this place by another dentist who he had just visited and was told he was needing a root canal. When he visited Ballantyne Endodontics they checked his tooth and they took some specialty X-rays and at the end they billed him 200.00 for X-rays 160.00 to hold the root canal Appt and told him they also needed $1,800.00 for the root canal procedure upfront my husband almost passed out and ask why pay upfront don't they bill the dental insurance ? they said they don't do that, we would have to do it and see if we got reimbursed WHAT !! Never had we had to do this. He called me and told me what had happen and I told him I would call another dentist office and not to pay them the 1800.00. I found an amazing dentist he fixed my husband root canal the following day they handled everything billed our insurance all my husband had to pay was 200.00 . If you are looking for a dental office that does things right give Dr Philip Hahn Family Dental a call My advice when you walk in to Ballantyne Endodontics ask them first how do they handle claims and do they charge for the visit , X-rays, and work upfront We got sucker out of $370.00 but in the end found a great dentist office with experience it handling clients and claims read more

I was referred to Ballantyne Endodontics by my dentist. I went to another Endodontist who attempted to performed a root canal and I was told the tooth could not be saved and had to be pulled. I decided to get another opinion and I am so glad I did because Dr. Reiter was able to save the tooth. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and Dr. Reiter. They have state of the art equipment, are open five days a week and even offered to help me fight my insurance company if needed. Dr. Reiter called me personally to see how I was and said if there is anything she can do to help to let her know. This is the only place to go should you need a root canal. read more

Had a root canal a couple of months ago and I am still suffering in pain. It got infected real bad and two weeks later I ended up in the emergency room with extreme pain. It's just now starting to get better. I've had two other root canals from other doctors and I've never had a problem before. On the other hand, the dental assistants and the girls in the office were great. read more

This office is very attentive of the patients, it hasn't been one time I felt like I wasn't receiving the service I wanted. The staff does an amazing job at comforting patients before going in to a procedure, the Doctor and the assistant made sure I was completely numb before proceeding and allowed me to watch TV to calm my nerves while I was getting my root canal procedure done. The procedure itself was painless and didn't take long. read more

Quality professionals and quality work done when I had to have a root canal redone that was improperly done years back someplace else. I had no discomfort at all and they made sure I had what I needed to make me comfortable. Very thorough work by this group. Highly recommend! read more

I was disgusted how I was treated. Dr Tradissi was the most unprofessional dr I've been around. My first appt I was charged 3400 and had a wreck otw there They didn't refund my money When I came back for procedure again I couldn't stop choking in which she got upset with me ripped my mask off and told me she didn't have time for this and didn't finish the procedure and still refused to refund my money I plan on taking further action but I wouldn't suggest wasting your money read more

This is a bad endodontics as I was charged $500 just for the exam, they didn't tell you are not covered by insurance in here, cheating, and this is why they ask for payment prior to working. I don't know why still some patients gave them 5 stars. Go to Fort Mill endodontics on 160 that is a good one and honest one. read more

The entire team was AWESOME. I was in so much pain with an almost-dead tooth, and they reassure me through my hurt and my high level of anxiety. I ended up snoring in the chair! They even called the next day to follow up. I absolutely love the level of care I got here. read more

This was def not a place I wanted to be, but due to trying to save my back tooth, it brought me here. The office was really clean and the staff was so friendly. I was greeted by the front desk associates at the front desk. I'd already completed my forms online prior to my visit. I was called to the back by dental hygienist Rachel, who was nothing but sweet and welcoming. Rachel went over the expectation of the visit and asked questions to get a better understanding of my tooth. Dr. T was nice and was explained to me the procedures and worst case scenarios. I would recommend. read more

Money above patient care! Money grubbing dentists. More concerned about payment than my care. Don't take insurance and want full payment upfront and then you bill your insurance. Went for a screening and cost over $230 and my insurance only covered $40. Said the rest was NOT COVERED. They want me to book a very expensive procedure and pay for it first and then bill my insurance myself. This is not how modern medical care works. Who has an extra $2000 laying around and can wait weeks for the insurance to reimburse you? I have never been to a dentist that wanted to be paid before I was seen. I have no problem paying after but not before. What if they are not good, don't take care of the issue? I would have no recourse if I have already paid. They put fear in everyone that walks in the door. Don't use these people. Ask your dentist for a different referral. If they are so good then why don't they take insurance first and let you know upfront what is not covered??? AVOID!!! read more

I had a root canal, so fast and gentle, best dental experience I've ever had. They were fast and didn't make me wait and very informative about how the procedure would go, if all visits were like this I wouldn't ever have anxiety about dental problems again. Thanks! read more

I'm writing this only hours after Dr Tadrissi did my root canal. I have never had a root canal before, and I have a LOT of anxiety when it comes to getting fillings or any significant dental work done. Dr Tadrissi is kind, and also understanding of the anxiety that can happen with this procedure. He did a great job numbing the area and once we got past the worst part (drilling and needles), it was easy. I felt confident in his abilities, and knew I was I'm good hands. He was very informative, answered all my questions, and thorough. The assistants are wonderful as well. So sweet, and held my hand when I was feeling nervous during the numbing part. The office is decorated so nicely too! Very clean and chic. The front desk staff are also very nice and helpful. I hope I never need another root canal, but if I do need another one I'm going here! read more

Avoid. They just care about money not my needs. Who the heck gets paid first and then agrees to see you? How bizarre? Not very friendly either. I need a new referral. They were mad I didn't want to book an expensive process right away and give them even more money. Not going to deal with these people. read more

They have lost a patient. I was referred to this endodontist for a root canal. Consultation should have been quick. ... But wasn't. My initial appointment was at 11:30. Sat in the waiting area for about 15 minutes and was then escorted to the exam area. Got ex rays done and then waited another 30 min for the Doctor. She was pleasant enough. Tested my teeth for cold sensitivity and explained the procedure that would be done. This took all of 5 min. I was irritated that I had wasted so much time on a 10 min appt., but I let that go. Fast forward to appt. day... my son got sick at school and I had to pick him up before my appointment time. Needless to say I had to call and cancel my appointment. Explained to the receptionist that I could not find a babysitter on such short notice... all is well right? Wrong! Next Day I see a charge on my card for $150. Did I authorize this charge? NO I DID NOT! When I call about this charge, I am told that it is up to the doctor, and this is what she wanted. Never in my life!!! "Some patients prefer to leave their card on file in the case that insurance does not cover the estimated amount" or some similar jargon. Below that, is a line to write down your credit card information... a line which I did not fill out. So how did they charge my card you ask... They captured my card information, which according to my lawyer is ILLEGAL. Whatever... so I tell her to put it on another card which she agrees to do... While reading out my info we get disconnected, calls back, disconnected, call back no answer. I don't have time for this, so I go about my day. Later I get a vm that their phones weren't working and I have to call them back by 2pm. Already after 2 pm. Oh and why did I call my lawyer you ask...because It gets my goat that doctors can waste our time and have us sitting in their waiting rooms, but an emergency comes up and it's all about the bucks for them. Now this dentist would have made way more than $150 off of my procedure, not to mention other people I would have referred, but now that's out the window and someone else will be getting the money that she would have gotten only if she had been more understanding. It's all about the principle. read more

I was referred here by my very good Dentist for a consult. Before setting the appointment they confirmed I had dental coverage and the amounts it would pay. They then confirmed the appointment. Ok, that is routine these days. Upon arrival, I was given their payment policy requiring PAYMENT IN FULL IN ADVANCE, Or leave a credit card on file. yes even with insurance. I was ok paying for this in advance but then the real reason for wanting a credit card on file became clear. They next asked me to sign, still before before my first consult, if I was ever late for an appointment, I would be fined $50, and if I missed an appointment, without 2 business day notice, they would charge me ( my card on file) $150.00. So i've never missed a Dentist appt, but have almost missed several. One thing is for sure, I never get notice of business emergencies. So, they made themselves exceedingly clear. Were their guarantee's they would be timely? None. Were there guarantees of their work? Not if you read their Disclosure and Conset forms...But, . Will ALWAYS GET THEIR MONEY? Yes. read more

Was sent to Ballantyne Endodontics after my own dentist could not complete a root canal procedure due to complicated root structures. I had already gone through two procedures on this tooth and was not looking forward to another. Worse, I have a distinct aversion to dentists due to a wisdom tooth extraction at another facility 10 years ago that went very bad. I was apprehensive about this procedure, especially after the two previous attempts at my dentist were unsuccessful. I am extremely happy I was referred here. Dr. Sonia Chopra was extremely professional, empathetic to my previous experiences, and went out of her way to ensure my comfort and well being. Having had the complications I mention above, numbing that area of my mouth is not easy and can be painful. She took her time, and worked to keep the pain to a minimum. The procedure itself went smoothly and was very well handled. X-rays after showed the tooth well-drilled and sealed. The pain following the work is very minor and I'm pleased with my experience. The office staff was pleasant and efficient. Dr. Chopra's assistant during the work was very professional and pleasant as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chopra and Ballantyne Endodontics to anyone who needs this work done. read more

Dr. Tadrissi was amazing and went above and beyond for me. He called me personally after my procedure to check in with how I was doing and to follow up on a question/concern I had. He was very sympathetic and patient and answered all my questions, explaining each step along the way when my mouth was full of gauze and I couldn't ask any more questions. Nobody really WANTS to go to an endodontist, but stuff happens and the folks here made everything as painless as possible. My experience with Dr. Tadrissi has helped restore a bit of my faith in dentists and the like. read more

I had filling done by my dentist in Asheville that resulted in nerve damage and left me in excruciating pain through the Christmas holiday. After 6 days of not being able to be seen by Endodontics office due to them all being closed for the holidays, we found Ballantyne Endodontics in Charlotte. They reopened before anyone else so we called as soon as they opened (the day after Christmas) and they were able to work me into their already very busy schedule. Dr. Tadrissi new that we had traveled from Asheville and could see how much pain I was in so he and some his staff stayed well after their office was supposed to close to finish my root canal even though he could have easily just asked me to return the next day to finish it. They did a wonderful job and were very professional and above all of this, showed a very real compassion for their patients. Thank you all so much! read more

I was referred to Ballantyne Endodontics by my dentist. I admit, I was dreading the appointment. I was probably very short with the office staff to schedule and check in due to the lack of enthusiasm for getting a root canal done. However, everyone in the office was fantastic. Everyone remained kind, warm, and even fun. The office is very nice. I was able to plug in my head phones and watch the Olympics while Dr. Chopra did my root canal. I couldn't believe when it was over. I did not feel any pain and Dr. Chopra is incredibly gentle. I wonder if she would be willing to do all my dental work? I highly recommend Dr. Chopra and Ballantyne Endodontics. This was a way better experience than I ever imagined. Thank you! read more

I was referred to Dr. Sonia Chopra after I established as a patient with a dentist in Charlotte. I moved here from another state and always saw the same dentist for years where I previously lived. When I saw my dentist here for the first time, there were some teeth she would not even touch because the root canals were done so poorly. I have always had "teeth issues" beginning with braces and oral surgery that progressed to ongoing jaw and tooth pain I was told in my late teens was related to TMJ. I constantly walked around with swollen gums, throbbing pain, sleepless nights, you name it, I have experienced it. I became someone who just accepted that I had "bad teeth," and settled for a life of off and on pain. There were days I would lie on the couch with warm compresses to try to quell the swelling and pain, or times when I would be at work or in a social situation fighting to just push through it. I would get to the dentist, they would do "something" to fix the immediate pain, but it also came back. Then I went to Ballantyne Endodontics, and have since had to have 5-6 root canal re-treatments over the course of almost 3 years. I just had the final one treated yesterday, and here is what I know.... Dr. Sonia Chopra is not only extremely well practiced and knowledgeable in diagnosing the cause, she knows how to fix it, people!! In addition, she genuinely cares about her patients, often calling them a few days after a procedure to check on them, and every time you see her, it's almost as if she has your entire case memorized. For a long time, I always thought my bad teeth were the result of something I did. I now understand that good dentistry is key to being able to live a life free of pain and constant toothache and heartache. Dr. Chopra truly loves what she does and it reflects in not only her work, but across her entire team as demonstrated by the atmosphere of the office. She runs a business that is spot on in serving patients, and she seems to always be using every moment as a teaching moment for assistants and others who comprise her team. I should know, she said I was a hall of famer, I have been there enough times...and every time, she has identified and alleviated not only the issue, but more importantly, the cause of the issue. If you need help, you want answers, and you desire someone who will really listen to your concerns, this is the place. Thank you, Dr. Chopra to you and your team...you have truly changed my quality of life. read more

I am not one who tolerates dental work very well due to past experiences, but the root canal procedure was unbelievably comfortable and as painless as could be expected for such an event. With just a local anesthetic, I actually dosed off during the procedure - how much more relaxed a patient can be? I was given after hours emergency contact information in the event it was needed over the weekend. The following morning when I got up, I was amazed - there was no pain or discomfort whatsoever. My tooth actually felt better than when I initially walked into the office. All financial information was fully disclosed before the procedure began, so there were to be no surprises. In summary, Dr. Chopra, Jessica and the entire staff was very professional, caring and helpful throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend them and their practice to anyone who needs this type of work performed. Leonard A. read more
