Stay away from Pearl Dentistry Reimagined if you value honesty, transparency, or basic integrity…read more This place is hands down the most aggressively money-driven dental office I've ever experienced. Every single visit turns into a sales pitch, fluoride, fillings, floss, night guards, or something new every time. The pressure they put on you is uncomfortable and honestly embarrassing. It feels less like healthcare and more like walking into a commission-based sales floor. They will charge you without properly communicating. They applied fluoride without clearly explaining or getting consent, then billed for it. They did the exact same thing to my wife on a separate visit and even used a deposit I had on file without telling me. No heads-up, no discussion, just charges. My wife didn't even realize what they had done. Some of the staff are nice and seem quite friendly but you can tell they have been pressured to cross sell and you can tell themselves they feel uncomfortable having to do that. Who is seriously running / managing this place....if its not a marketing agency. And it doesn't stop there. I paid thousands for Invisalign, yet they still push a $500 night guard like it's necessary. They constantly "find" new fillings you supposedly need, every visit there's something. At one point they even recommended redoing a filling they themselves had done just a year prior, and of course wanted to charge again. I got multiple second opinions, and other dentists disagreed with nearly everything they were pushing. The worst part was my implant crown. Within months, it became loose while I was eating soft food. I had paid thousands for these procedures, even after insurance coverage. I could have swallowed it. I reached out immediately and they couldn't see me for two weeks. When I finally went in, instead of taking responsibility for their work, they charged me $100 just to walk in (after I explained I no longer had insurance) and then total $255 for a 10-minute fix to tighten something that should not have failed that quickly in the first place. No apology. No accountability. Just another bill. That's when it became clear -this place will find any possible way to charge you, no matter the situation. I have never seen a medical office this hungry to take your money. Unbelievable! What makes it worse is that I referred people here, and they came back to me with the same complaints: constant upselling, questionable diagnoses, and feeling like they're being pushed into unnecessary treatments. I'm honestly frustrated I didn't listen to them sooner. I am definitely joining them and sharing my experience, so they also leave because now I believe them more than ever, looking back and trying to connect all these dots. If you're considering anything serious like crowns or implants, DO NOT go here. If they recommend anything, get second opinion but sooner or later you will realize if they care for your interest or theirs. These are procedures that are supposed to last, and based on my experience, they don't stand behind their work. They will gladly charge you again instead. How do I know they don't do that ton purpose do you'd come back and bring more money to them!? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually cares about patients, not just squeezing every dollar out of them

I received a recommendation and I'm so glad I went they gave amazing customer service assured me that it would be ok and that I could not be able to tell the difference. When speaking to others to get an appointment it was impossible but this company made it possible... I have had nothing but positive experiences with Plaza Midwood Dentistry and Dr. Hart, hygienists/techs like Weslynn, as well as their front office. I came in looking like a gremlin honestly, my teeth were in terrible shape. They worked out a plan to focus on the cavities first, then crowns and implants, but I wasn't expecting the huge difference, even with the temporary cosmetic stuff they did (I'm not a dentist so I don't know the right name for it). After my last appointment, I cried when I looked in the mirror and asked for a hug. Went home and cried some more because I was so happy. Sent pictures to my best friends and family. People who see me and know me comment on my smile all the time. They are some of the most caring and understanding people in the business. I've been to many dentists and oral surgeons after my childhood dentist retired. These folks are by far my favorite. We still have a ways to go to get all the work done, but I will always be so appreciative of how hard they work and how well they do it. Heck, I even get blankets and my hand held when I'm being a wuss during a procedure! I'd definitely recommend.

So I have spent a LOT of time in Dr. Farley's chair getting work done and he is fantastic. The issue with the overly large crown and the resulting problems it caused was corrected and thankfully everything is good now. I also had more cavities than normal for a while. (Maybe from growing up on well water and not fluoridated water?) Through all of it, Dr Farley was really patient. He took the time to explain everything and make sure that I was as comfortable as possible during procedures and called me the morning after we had to do some more intensive work just to make sure I was doing ok that next day. After a number of cavities, he recommended fluoride treatments with each cleaning and I have done that and been cavity free for years. Oh yeah and I am afraid of needles. Dr. Farley was great about going slowly with novacaine injections and that I was good and numb with whatever they rubbed on my gums before giving the injection. One thing that I love is that they can make crowns right there and you are not having to deal with getting a temporary crown until the real one arrives. He's picky about them being perfect and that is what you want in a dentist!! I can't imagine going anywhere else and hope that I never have to. I'm very thankful to have found Dr Farley. And a shout out to the rest of his great staff who treat you like family. Kelli & Misty are fantastic too! The location is VERY convenient to uptown and they have the best selection of magazines in the waiting room of any doctor that I've ever had but they are so efficient about getting you right back that I never get a chance to read their magazines!! If you have to wait while someone else is having work done, you will get to enjoy them and the drinks in the waiting area.
