While we were there, the staff was working hard to set up an oyster tasting event in the gardens. Although we did not spend the night, and we're just there for the day, I would 100% recommend and be delighted to go back. Note, the only downside was that their pool is not heated. We were visiting in April, and it was definitely a little chilly... But coming from Wisconsin, we still want swimming anyway! Friendly, conversational staff make you feel at home. We always arrive early enough in the morning to have breakfast, because the chef also works at the Palace casinos 5-star Mignon restaurant, making it and our lunch after the round amazing! The course is always groomed to perfection and plays like the challenge it purports to be. There is a cart girl on the course when we play and the greens are like putting in the PGA! Fast, but true. You get the ball in line and it's in the hole! The fairways are excellent and the ground is receptive to your club. I hate courses where the ground is so hard that you can't get a true divot. The green fee of $160 is definitely something I will only pay when we vacation, however, it is worth every Penney. And if you book a second round the same or next day, you get a $40 discount on the second round! If you love to golf, book a round at this course and plan to stay for lunch outside on their patio that overlooks the 18th green. Their Food is magnificent! They have a small parking lot in the back or you can park along the side of the street. This park has swings, slides, monkey bars and even a zipline to keep your children occupied. They have a covered pavillion with 2 BBQ grills which is excellent for a birthday party. I recommend you get there early because this park fills up quick! Theres plenty of natural shade from all the trees and they even have a restroom for you to use. Theres plenty of grass space for you to sit down and have a picnic as well. Theres random benches around the park and they even have some rocking swings. They have a xylophone to play and also drums for your musician talented kids. They have tons of swings and also swings for toddlers who cant hold on the chains. They even have a swing where you and your child can swing at the same time! There is no pets allowed so please leave your fury friends at home. This park is also very close to the beach as well so why not pack your bags on a lovely day out of the week and go enjoy a picnic here and after that go to the beach. Overall this park is great and im sure it wont disappoint! Go check it out for your self's!
