I've had two different congressional appointments to discuss with United States Postal Service, and why I can't get my new built & purchased house address activated and delivered. I talked to Congressman Allen's aid she forwarded my complaint about times, ended up on the desk of a woman named Pamela (706) 562-1882 Who handles the Georgia congressional Complaints. She called me 4:30 PM on a Friday and we talked. She said she would do an investigation and get back with me and She called back 19 minutes later left a voicemail that I'd have to get the cluster mailbox or pay for a PO Box and I still couldn't get certain packages delivered the end! Well state past 12 years ago a stupid law that new divisions and subdivisions have to have a cluster mailbox. It makes sense that way the postman just goes to the box and deliver all the mail and the people come and pick it up it saves fuel But there should be exclusions in there because I'm one house one they have to drive by it every day to directions when they're delivering mail to other houses that were put in for the law, but this uneducated woman said no not once, but twice, even though I had all the evidence proving that the address was made available to her post office, three years prior to the law changed! So to activate my house address I have to spend out of pocket funds for the cluster mailbox they cost $2,700 on low end just outside of town the other 7 plots on my street are nature and for sale by owner & he isn't building any more houses It's not a neighborhood because the streets only connect from the highway one way in one way out. She tried to say that it was a subdivision, wrong again you have to have a Home Division before you could have a subdivision so her lack of education and experience is being shown once again! These are the uneducated people, United States Post Pffice likes to hire and that's why they're always in US Congressional Hearings making excuses for All the stupid rules and decisions they come up with. I literally think They get together for a group function and play a game of polish darts vs playing polish archery it's safer and that decides how they waste taxpayers dollars! This truly is just another leaching Government Agency for your annual taxes should be called "anal taxes for dealing with these assholes!" Are used to believe in being nice and respectful, but after dealing with this group of idiots out of Augusta, I'm retired and they don't deserve my respect they are ran by machine and operated by brainless minions and Peons and I can't tell you who the woman I talk to which one she is but I really won't be volunteer or gift any of my tax dollars, especially if she refuses too do the one thing the USPS Government Organization is Designed to do, deliver my mail!

From a customer service perspective, there was a lot of complexity to getting the stuff I needed done, but given that I brought all the appropriate documents, I got the help I needed. I had to take a number, but it was not a long wait, and once I made it to a counter, I was permitted to handle everything I needed in terms of getting a license and a license plate without going back in line, which took several steps and various corrections to paperwork I had worked on. I was a bit leery of whether I would be able to get it done in one go, but I was able to get all my fees paid and walked out with a license printed on the spot (none of that temporary drivers license BS) and a license plate that I will eventually trade in for a special one with a sea turtle on it. This is not a fancy location (unlike North Augusta's local government building), but as government services go, they did a pretty good job.

I haven't been in here in about three years or so, and that was when I first got my Georgia driver's license (purely because my home state license expired, and I could not renew it online). This DDS is usually VERY crowded, and quite noisy as well. The way they do their system is kind of funky, and a little annoying, but if you can skate through on a weekday during everyone's normal working hours, you shouldn't be in there too long. I went a couple weeks ago on a Friday afternoon to get an endorsement added to my license, and it was fairly painless for the most part. The employees are definitely hit or miss, sometimes you get a super nice one and sometimes you get a... not so nice one. Either way, I make it a point to not go to this DDS, but it was the closest one to where I was at the moment, so I just decided to stop there.

I have had to visit this location on Mike Padgett Highway several times this year. When Nicole wrote her review I would agree with her. However they have added someone who asks while you wait in line "Why you are here?". This addition is incredibly valuable. In the past I have watched people wait in line only to be told they are not even in the right office or being told they need a document they don't have with them after waiting 1-2 hours. Since adding this person service has become highly valuable. Things stay moving even when fully loaded. Customers are much happier knowing their wait has been minimized even before they get to the counter. Also that person can direct customers to online features they can use while waiting in line. They have even added two computers terminals for this process and often people just start helping each other. So even that 80-90 year old grandma or grandpa can be assisted in a way that gets them through with a kind of speed I have never witnessed before. I used an online feature before coming in, that's right from home, got a number, sat down and was called in 5 minutes and helped in about 2 minutes. If they maintain this level of service I will raise the rating from a 4 star to a 5 star.

Great music. I could have walked from the hotel to the Boathouse Community Center but it was freezing cold for this Puerto Rican. Even with the three layers of shirts, the cap and the Dick Tracy Jacket. The regatta was held here. My Finicky Eater competing. A pain in the backside of the crew team mothers who lovingly prepare pasta salad for the rowers. There I was. Huge black sunglasses, dragging my fancy purse loaded with protein bars, protein shakes, protein gummy treats (thank God for the person who invented these "unnatural" candies.) The Uber dropped us a little outside the center, but what a pretty walk it was...What a beautiful property! Clean and green and luscious. I sat there breathless. Lost in so much blue and green... The perfect venue for the races... and for a wedding! Imagine that! Getting married in the Amphitheater and then enjoying the reception in this wooden wonder overlooking the Savannah River and the tall trees and the sun shining over the surface... so much light! I guess some mothers complain that their son or daughter should have chosen another sport. Basketball... a couple of hours seating on benches inside a court. I think them crazy. He rowed. I was told you have to put money on your jagcard to print but for some reason, it would not load for me. Thankfully I was only printing 2 articles so they allowed me to print free of charge. The computers I was on seemed small and dated but other than that it appeared to be a basic library. Nothing fancy.
