At the conclusion I asked about paint. I was told that was on me. I would have appreciated being offered the windows in advance to have them painted. I got quotes to have them painted. All required removal and re-installation charges, averaging $150 per window. I opted to paint the windows myself. The wood frames are so thin that I split the frame on one. This was such an expensive venture. I wish I had been given the windows in advance to have them painted. Such unprofessional communication.

We had a tree fall in our yard that ended up damaging the glass in one of our sliding glass doors…read more I called Georgia Glass Repair and received a quote over the phone based upon the dimensions of the glass that needed to be replaced. The quote was very reasonable, based upon quotes I had received a few years back to replace the glass on an identical sliding glass door. (I had contacted our previous glass repair company about this current issue but they never called me back, which led me to check out Georgia Glass Repair this time.) We scheduled an at-home visit to verify the quote, which didn't change even though it was determined that the installation would be a bit trickier due to the age and condition of the sliding glass door. Georgia Glass Repair had to order the glass from their supplier. They said it would take 7-10 business days, but it arrived within a week. The installation was scheduled for 3 days later, and they showed up within the 2-hour window they had provided. It took them less than an hour to replace the glass, and the two guys that removed the old glass and inserted the new glass were very friendly, informative, and professional. They worked quickly and before I knew it, the glass had been replaced. Looking at the glass afterwards, I see they didn't introduce any scratches during the installation. I would absolutely recommend this company. From the first phone call to the final installation, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Three weeks later we had a beautiful French door again. Chris and his company are extremely professional and I would highly recommend them. Prices are very reasonable. Terrific experience, start to finish…read more I love finding mom-and-pop businesses that do right by their customers, and Best in Glass is another one. Ronnie was responsive, using either text or email as the situation warranted. He set up a time to come look at my broken window and get measurements; I contacted him about 5 PM on a Friday, and he had gotten the measurements by 3 PM on a Saturday. My situation was pretty straightforward, but he did give me options between the install-fast-but-no-warranty glass or the takes-longer-but-is-under-warranty glass. I chose the latter option, and my window is now fixed 9 days after contacting Ronnie. Very fair pricing, straightforward dealings, fast communication, friendly guy to get along with. I'm not sure how the business could be improved. Definitely recommended.

I also realized I needed screens for 3 windows and we discussed pricing for new screens and he was also able to measure and give pricing for screens and get them ordered for a later delivery.
