I called a number of companies who would repair the broken glass in our French door. One company…read morewanted to replace the entire unit. Others said they only did commercial work. A couple in Blue Ridge were out of business. One in nearby NC said they were too far away and to call someone who services North Georgia. I finally reached First Choice Glass and Mirror. This company is awesome. Chris came to our home, removed the broken glass, took measurements and glass samples, to insure that the replacement glass would be an exact match. Three weeks later we had a beautiful French door again. Chris and his company are extremely professional and I would highly recommend them. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Well, where do I start? We bought a beautiful large 3 story old English Tudor home in Snellville…read more It was a fixer-upper but we simply loved the structure of the home so we opted to purchase it. We pulled the carpet off of the staircases and found old bleached and worn out solid wood underneath. This company came and did such a professional and beautiful job on the staircases on the main floor that we had them refurbish the staircase on the lower level of our home. They taped up all of the openings to other rooms to confine the dust, swept and cleaned up after their work and best of all they specialize in matching stains... Custom match. They are contracted by builders and developers to custom stain wood work in home renovations and building projects. We wanted a Royal Oak colored stain on our stairs to match the wood flooring across the foyer in our formal dining area. Three sample colors were provided to us. We selected the color we liked the best and all is history! They even left some of the custom stain for us for future touchups, if needed. After the job was finished they educated us on the care of our new flooring. Anything you want to know about wood or laminate flooring I would highly recommend this company. Their prices are fair. They are honest humble folks and they really aim to please the customer. We have another big job coming up. We will be replacing 800 ft.² of wood flooring. It will be the last of 4200 sq ft of flooring to be completed. We've already contacted Jeanette to schedule that job. For all of our flooring needs this is the company we will go to! The pictures below don't show the brilliance on the stairs. This was done about 1 1/2 years ago and our floors are still beautiful. Highly recommended!!!

I would give MINUS 5 RATING if possible. We interviewed several companies to have a vapor barrier…read moreput in our basement. This is the ONLY company that claimed we would have foundation settling if we didn't do it. Therefore we thought, wow, these guys are thorough. They must see what no one else can see. Let me explain. We merely wanted to be pro active. Protect our foundation etc. we were having ZERO moisture in our basement. Never had anything been wet or mildewed UNTIL we had this work done. I retrieved my container of christmas wrap and bags that have been consistently stored there for 5 years. Every year I go down and get them. This year, they were wet and mildewed. I had to throw them all out. So, we called the company. One of the guys came out and agreed he would not have done it this way. The drains are not buried deep enough. They don't run in the right direction for the water to flow away. We now have a huge moisture problem. The outside wall of our house is NOW wet. We have moisture inside the basement that was not there before. The owner Loren came out claiming he cares about the reputation of his business, but his only answer was to charge us "what he says is half off" which is another $1800. Mind you we paid TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to have this job done. It is insulting that in order for it to be done RIGHT we should have to pay more. When i tell you to RUN from this company , I mean RUN!!! We since had one of the companies we had originally gotten an estimate from out. Wonderful young man. Said we had wasted our money. That what we had done made a problem that wasn't even there, a problem.
