This place is a dumpster fire. The washer did not spin the water out of my comforters. They were soaked. The guy in there said he didn't work there. But kept going in the back doing things. Next time I will wash my clothes at the river. read more

The washers a very small yet expensive. I came here to wash pillows from my classroom library and all the washers are so small that I had to use two of them. The dryers give you 4 minutes per quarter. It's dirty and not maintained. read more

If you desperately need a laundromat and there are no other options in your area then you need to settle for what is available. Sketchy part of town. Did not feel safe. Sat in the car while we waited for our laundry to be done. Air dried it at home. $4.00 for a normal load. Had plenty of washers but other reviews said many did not work. Ok, let's start by saying Eww and Ewwww ‍washing machines are gross all over. The machines coins a lot don't go in well so you have to position your quarters correctly to get the machines to work if it doesn't eat them and/or says you owe more when you clearly know you don't. Place smells and floors are filthy and I mean filthy. Bathrooms are so dirty and not kept up. I felt like I was entering a nasty gas station bathroom. There is never soap to wash with. So don't go poo or you'll be spreading poo germs all over with your poppy hands. No paper towels. If this place served food there would cockroaches, mice and rats living off the place. read more

I rarely comment on anything since it has been my experience that it does not yield any tangible positive results. This place is horrible! It's $3.75 to wash and $3.00 to dry. Approximately 65-70 percent of the machines do not work. I put $3.75 into one machine, loaded it and put the soap and softener in and it did nothing-- plus there is no way to get a refund. There is no one on site. The place is disgustingly dirty!!! Do not go here!! It's not a one star -- but there is no way to post without selecting something. Oh boy, where to start? This place will truly blow your mind. How you ask? Well, sit down, it's going to take a few extra sentences to truly convey the essence of this place. First things first, I don't frequently use laundry mats, but the few times I have, they at least *smelled* clean. One would think that a place where you are literally supposed to be cleaning things, with cleaning products, that the cleaning products could at least mask unsavory smells. Welp, not here. It's like how when you give a dog a bath, it smells like a wet dog with some perfume scent. Same goes here except the wet dog smell is replaced with the unmistakeable scent of feces. The detergent scent is so very faint that you almost can't pick it up. Upon arrival, I thought maybe someone had left something sinister behind in the bathroom, but after an hour, I determined that the bathroom wasn't the culprit. The place just reeks. Delightful smell aside, let's discuss the cleanliness of this fine establishment. If you are seeking a place to wash your clothing and come out feeling like you just acquired an entirely new type of filth on your person, and laundry, look no further! This place fills that need and more. With the limitless sticky spots of the floor, you are sure to not slip and fall. Safety first, friends. The term "dust bunny" need not apply here. The dust bunnies took one look inside and noped right outta here. Literally trash, dirt, melted candy, mouse poop, and grime as far as the eye can see. I know this may be a high maintenance idea, but perhaps management could look into switching their semi annual cleanings to quarterly? I know, I know, it's a lot to ask, but give it some thought. Part of me wonders if they are in cahoots with the washer and dryer industry. Make the place so vile, that people will break down and buy a new washer and dryer, so they don't have to return. They probably have stock in Maytag. Conspiracy theory, perhaps, but I need a reason in my brain to justify this place. Nobody in this place looks happy. They all have the same dead eyes and blank expressions you find on the face of parents during their 4th day of their Disney land trip, whilst their child is screaming for a $17 Mickey Mouse lollipop. We all recognize that while we are washing the filth off of our clothing, but we are also picking up a different dirty feeling, one you can't wash off. Nobody makes eye contact in here. It's a silent consensus that we are all here and nobody is psyched about it. The actual machines themselves mostly work. Several have duct tape X's on them. The washer I used, you had to lift the door and shimmy it just right to get it to close. I got it, but it took longer than it should've It was like solving a rubix cube, but instead it was literally just the door to a front loading washer. Someone just turned on a dryer and it's become difficult to hear. It sounds like someone just turned on a shop-vac in a small space with terrible acoustics. Overall, my clothes were washed and dried, but I'm beginning to question all of my life choices leading up to this point and how I ended up in this place where dreams seemingly go to die. My take away from this? I will be purchasing a new washer and dryer after today. Well played coin laundry owners/management, well played. I will help your stocks in the washer and dryer market increase, so I don't have to come back here again. Important to note, a few people say they would give it zero stars if they could. I wouldn't, it is very deserving of its 1-star. It's not the worst place in the world, but it's definitely gross. read more

-3 stars!!! Is it possible to contact the owner? I only go there to wash my comforters and I'm tired of losing money! It seems petty but I want my 7 quarters back! I've lost way more than that on machines here but this is the last straw! It amazes me how people will watch you walk up to a machine, put your money in and won't mention the machine doesn't work, till you ask! I believe this horrible experience has given me a business idea...think I'm going to give "Mr Anonymous" a run for his money and check into opening one myself. It's Better Than Dirty Clothes! I haven't stepped foot in a laundry mat in about 30 years (oh the blessings). Well recently that change because my nephew (lazy millennial) stuffed so many clothes in my washer that it broke. I digress!! I needed to wash a few loads, so away I go to the local wash ah teria (what we used to call them back in the day when that trip was at the top of the Saturday to do list). Arrived at the Forney Coin Laundry to be greeted by broken swing doors. The assist baskets however, are in good condition, the floors could use a good mopping, the washers ($1.75/per use) are dated but in good condition, the dryers $.25/per use) are in good condition too and they have an on sight change machine that actually works :). They also have a soda machine and ok seating chairs. Overall it is a good place if you have an emergency wash need or just don't have a washer and dryer at home. read more

No stars dude. You'll see stars when this place smacks you with dirt and takes your money. Better off to go down to the creek or river or pond and wash your s&@t. Can't believe there isn't another choice in this town. Forney sucks dude. Terrible infrastructure for the FASTEST GROWING COUNTY IN THE USA. No joke. Look it up. And they care less. But the local police department can afford 50 new police cars and all that government equipment they have to invade our lives and privacy. But we can't get grocery stores with food in them or good restaurants or coin laundry or hell even a good dry cleaners or maybe have the roads fixed. They build houses and houses and houses with nothing else but houses. No stores. Restaurants suck. Grocery sucks. I'm from out of town, just googled coin laundry and went to this one. Load washers, go to change machine and it doesn't work. Local lady said it hadn't worked that she knows of since it was installed. No attendant so had to go across street to grocery store to get quarters. All but one of the 7 washers I used worked fine. One didn't spin so had to redo that load. Dryers worked fine but while sitting waiting on laundry to dry, I saw a rat run across the back and go under the last dryer. Won't return to this place next time I'm passing through and need to do laundry. It made me pick a star to post, I wouldn't have given it one. read more

This placeis horrible there aren't many laundry places in the area and this place is not kept up the machines are old the change machine never works the machines are never wipe down there's detergent buildup inside the machines. There is never anyone there to assist when there's a problem it's like someone opens the doors and the place manages itself during the daytime and evening time no one is ever there to assist anyone if there's a problem read more

This is my first time to come to this laundry mat. This place is definitely filthy. The ceiling fan, ac vent, door panel, windows well basically this whole place is cover with thick dust. The windows are so dirty as well. The floor are filthy. Looks like it as not been swept or mop for days or years. The coin machine doesn't work and end up having to go to a gas station across the street to get changes. All the washer are not working. This is ridiculous!!!! There is no assistant that work here to help with any problems. There are supposed to be a worker/assistant at this place at all time to keep all the machine working and place clean. I'm definitely not coming back to this filthy trashy place ever again. read more
