I didn't find EXACTLY what I was looking for, but did find a new source for (pre-owned) leather and fur garments, real fedoras, dressy wear, and an outlet for the proceeds of my own closet. The folks running it went WAY out of their way to help me find something that would work, and gave me some other ideas. This place is packed with quality clothing and accessories. However, my most recent experience was not good and hopefully it was a one-off. I stopped in to browse on a Saturday. I did not recognize any of the women working there (4 ladies), which is unusual because there's usually someone I'm familiar with. Anyhow, I was in the store for probably 15-20 minutes and no one greeted me, no one asked if I needed any help (even though one staff person was right beside me a few times putting clothes back on the rack). At first I was surprised and thought that I should say something to them, like "hey how are you doing" etc. However, they never stopped talking amongst the 4 of them - so much so that if I had said anything I would have felt like I was interrupting them! It was very disappointing and unusual - they didn't even take time to say have a good day or anything when I left. There was a Desigual t-shirt that I wanted to try on and purchase but I decided I wasn't going to give them my business since I had felt unwelcome and ignored. I went home and ordered online. Like I said, hopefully this was a one-off and they were all just having an off day.

Then I make my way over to my favorite section in Anthropologie, The CANDLES section! They have GREAT smelling candles! And outside from that, They have a good selection of stuff for the ladies. The clothes and accessories, make great gifts for your sisters, cousins, wife, girlfriend, etc! you know, I don't know if they have a men's line, But they should! Let me first start by saying that Devon could sell snow to an Eskimo; he knows his stuff and Taylor is just extremely helpful and always goes the extra mile. I came in there one day before my trip to LA and they literally put me together. They gave me four different looks with shoes and jewelry. I told them what I was shopping for and they had maybe 12 different outfits for me to choose for from waiting in the dressing room. They made me feel like a celebrity LOL. I walked into Akira as a first time customer in a bit of a panic after being told by my fiancé this morning that his huge holiday party at work is THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. Ugh. Right upon walking in I was greeted by Shaina who asked me if I needed help finding anything.. And oh boy I needed help! She was sweet, attentive and overall wonderful. She brought me dress after dress and really listened to my feedback until we narrowed it down to 3 different dresses (all of which I ended up purchasing)- one of them was unavailable in this store in my size. Shaina quickly tracked down the last one in a size small for me in a store nearby and had them hold it for me. I was so happy bc I'm love with the dress! I ended up staying and shopping for over TWO HOURS haha and when Shaina had to leave to visit another store another amazing employee, Sparkle, took over for her and helped me find a bunch of other pieces that I really love! She listened to me explain my style and what I was looking for and brought me items that were exactly my style as well as some that were a little different and I'm so happy she did bc I got some beautiful items that I never would have tried on if she hadn't suggested them. Thank you, Sparkle! Then when I was checking out, Vanessa the cashier had the patience of a saint as I went through my 20+ items and she made sure that I got all of my discounts with their awesome buy one get one 50% off sale. I was all over the place and my dog kept jumping out of my bag but she (as well as all the other employees) were so sweet and accommodating. In closing, I just want to say that the fantastic employees at this store really made my shopping experience so much easier and ultimately successful bc they were so warm, welcoming and they are really just GREAT at their job. Thought third time was a charm, but we were wrong. 3 times now we have waited over 45 minutes for…read morepickup items at this Target and end up cancelling the order and just going in. We always thought the point of pick up was to save time, like it is at most places. Today, it was completely full and running over, and there were only 2 workers total. I'm not sure if it was just the situation, but from the get go it looked like they were taking their sweet time, walking slow and spending 5 plus minutes at a time inside and coming out with 2-3 bags for someone. I totally understand being understaffed, but when I went in there were no lines for self check out or for the regular check out lines. This is just bad management. Won't be going back to this Target.
