Particularly, Duluth Trading Co overalls. The pockets (so many!)! The comfort! The cute patterns! The flattering cut! The durability! The fit! Did I mention the pockets?? I did a count the other day and, uhmmm. I think I have a dozen of their bibs. Yes, I'm aware it's a problem. But I have so many different needs! One waterproof-ish one that I got for my trip to Zion and worked perfectly for my river hike through the Narrows, several pairs of heirloom gardening style in long pants and shorts, some solid colors as well as a few of the more whimsical patterns, etc. One denim, a few more "fashionable" varieties, etc. Dirt, clay, all of it just dust right off. They're so good, you guys! The heirloom bibs in particular are worth every penny but they have so many amazing sales and markdowns you'd be silly to pay full price. One day I was in my pottery class. Our classroom has a huge window that faces the street and people like to stop by and watch the potters in action. I was wearing a pair of my heirlooms (as per usual) and a guy came in off the street, peeked his head in the door, pointed at me, and said, "I know you are so comfortable right now!" And without a beat I said, "Duluth?" and he said "Heirloom" and the we laughed together then spent a solid 5 minutes talking about how great they are and convincing everyone in my class that they need a pair. Talk about an IYKYK moment! (Duluth, seriously, call me. I'd make a great spokesperson). My family has teased me over the last few years as I've acquired more and more but I'll tell you what, when I was walking around a rainy Greenfield Village H'alloween event I stayed nice and warm in my waterproof overalls, with the front pocket that perfectly housed my apple cider which I could easily sip through a straw, keeping my hands free for other uses. Anyway, my aunt watches me managing this outing with ease and says, "you know, maybe I should get a pair..." (she mocked me for my fanny pack 6 years ago too and look at where we are now!) Winning hearts and minds, y'all! Anyway, yesterday I went in and added 2 more shorteralls to my collection. One covered in small mushrooms and the other, a bright green succulent pattern. Both were heavily marked down so at least I'm strategic when it comes to my addiction?

DSW is my go to spot for a special pair of shoes for my granddaughter or myself. The kids selection is amazing and they even carry Stride Rite brand. The adult and kids clearance section in the back of the store is well worth a look see for a great discount. The service is always good! I like to stop in weekly to a nearby DSW to donate an old pair of shoes to apply toward my DSW reward points. They add up quickly for dollars off of my purchases. Check out their Soles4Soul program. Try it. Seeing is believing! Tip: Download the DSW app to become a rewards member.

Then, when I asked about the sale for a couple bags which had sale signs above the bags, she told me they weren't on sale and that there was nothing she could do. I went to the Ann Arbor DSW and the bag was on sale. So, I knew I was correct but didn't cause them any trouble because I'm a good person. Unfortunately, since the terrible customer service and respect for their own co-workers, I will never return. That was my first time at that location. Not very smart of them as their job in retail is ending as these kinds of stores are closing because everyone is shopping online. I would suggest to have better customer service even if you don't like who the customers are because we are paying customers that keep you having a job!

They carry a lot of Kelly & Katie flats and heels and I am big into them since they feel and fit so comfortably. Bought some AK's that were super comfy. Been adhering to the rule of only purchasing shoes that fit at first try and walk. I found 3 pairs and for $143, not bad since I go through flats every year. Didn't have the silver metallic flats with no embellishment but the AK would take me far in the office for now. Loving the calf hair black/brown and cream flats, goes with tons of things, much better than the Dr. Scholl's leopard print I bought a while back. I think I buy about 3/4 of my shoe collection from DSW, the rest from boutique shops as I prefer unique wears when possible. Would have been better if I had more than a $5 coupon, oh well, there aren't usually many good coupons that I can use when I find a pair of shoes it would seem.

All tags were on the items, was told I could not get a refund, store credit only, as they were gifts?? What??? I then said, she paid cash, was told, well, we don't have cash in the store. Here is the receipt. I was told by Diane (that sold her the items) that she did not recall the purchase and obviously did not mention a gift receipt. Crappy store policy not to honor their return policy. The owner did come out and state, only an exchange. Horrible policy! The sales gal was trying to help me and make conversation, and was nice. I was also told, wow, we usually do not do exchanges. If you are a small business owner, honor your policies.

They were VERY hesitant and acted cold as though doing ME a favor. I was told I can be granted an exchange. I asked why I could not receive a refund and was told they didn't know why. So I asked for a store credit as I was pressed for time - then again the clerk went back to the nameless, faceless person in the back who had to grant permission for a store credit (yes, really). I do not recommend any merchant who does not take care of their customers when a purchase doesn't work out.

This is a brand new store. Curiously located right next to a TJ Maxx (they're practically the same…read morestore) in a busy strip mall. Now, it was certainly my own mistake for visiting on the Sunday two weeks before Christmas, but this place was an unorganized madhouse! There were probably way more people in the store than a fire marshal would allow. Products all over the floor, strewn about. And again, this is a brand new store... why design the store with seven checkout lanes if you're only going to have four open on one of the busiest shopping days? Gripes aside, it's a decent store with a slightly different selection than your average TJ Maxx and Marshall's. As we got away from the clothing/shoes/accessories, we found the home goods section to be in much better order. We picked up a few nice picture frames for less than $10 each, so I'd call that a win. They also had a great selection of auto accessories, surprisingly. The wait in line was about a half hour... very ridiculous. Anyway, they need more cashiers on duty to handle demand and also dedicated staff to keep stock off the floor.

However, the selection in this store doesn't represent the true Ross experience. There is not as many high quality brands that Ross usually sells at a deep discount. It is really hit or miss. The store is usually clean & organized. The prices are usually good if you can find a treasure. However, the next door neighbor, TJ Maxx, usually has a better selection. The Ross stores I have been to in the north are very different than the ones in the south. This isn't it. The buyers for this store are cheating you out of a great Ross experience.
