I discovered this local business due to an event in town. I had not done a barre style workout in…read morethe past. The studio is located right by the Metra tracks so there is parking. This location offers both in person and live stream classes which is pretty cool. Tara was my instructor and she took the time to explain the class and the materials (aka props) that we would be using during the class. They recommend doing the class barefoot, but I was more comfortable keeping my socks on. Beautiful space. Although I didn't join, I would recommend if you are looking for some regular fitness. Good for all levels as modifications are shown for each move.

Once I was hooked…read moreto the structure and ethos - low impact, amazing workouts that improved my body, mind, and breath - I started visiting B3 locations around the U.S. As a Chicago native, I was ecstatic when I heard about a new location in Clarendon Hills and once I met Mariel, the owner, I knew I found a new B3 home. Fast forward three years and I have taken 114 classes at this location. B3 is amazing and this location is part of my life primarily because of the staff. Mariel is of course terrific, but she doesn't hire just anyone. And, all instructors must first attend a training in Oregon (where the company was founded). While each instructor has certain strengths, they are all great and committed to your individual success while simultaneously making the whole group working out feel like everyone matters. I am one of very few men at this location, but in this day and age I am actually more comfortable being in such a female-oriented space. This location is not for "bros," toxicity, or ego. It is supportive and beautiful, but still makes you feel stronger and ALWAYS better off than when you started.

So far I've had great experience with this LT, and I've been to all of the LT's in Chicagoland…read more It's one of my favorites because not only is it high end but very spacious. Many gyms feel claustrophobic but not this one. I used to go to every X Sport in Chicagoland and will never go to Planet fitness, mainly because they are too crowded and smell. I read all of these 1-star reviews for this facility and it's a joke, such as things being stolen from locker, or cleanliness. This won't happen at the cheaper gyms? Those all they smell worse, have more broken machines, you have to wait longer for machines, and the members are shady or dirtier. You won't see members wearing jeans to work out at LT I guarantee you that. Of course this gym is more expensive but you get what you pay for.

There's no justification for the continued increases in pricing. It feels that the members are paying for more maintenance vs increased services or equipment... I've spoken to regional leaders and even Tim, and yet have they been able to articulate the WHY behind the increase that increases the experience of the member. It's always maintenance related... This studio is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend it enough…read more The Offerings: Whether you are a complete newbie or beginner at aerial fitness or an advanced student who has been involved for years, there are classes tailored for both your skill and comfort level. They have quality classes for pole fitness, aerial hammocks, aerial hoop (lyra), hula hoop, stretching, cardio dance, aerial yoga, and more. I came as an advanced pole fitness student, and they worked with me to place me accordingly between pole, lyra, and hammock. The Staff: Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable about what they're teaching, they're some of the most genuine and nicest individuals I've had the pleasure of being instructed by. They are also constantly celebrating their students through different ways, including events at the studio, outings at fun places, holiday celebrations, or small personal notes. The Vibe: Not only are the instructors amazing, so are the students. At no point did I ever feel unwelcome when I was new to the studio or taking a class out of my comfort zone. We are always laughing, having fun, and constantly encouraging one another. Not only have I made new friends here, but it's always fun to be a personal cheerleader (and have them) in class! Body positivity is also a thing. We also have students of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and they are all truly beautiful. Bottom-line: If you are on the fence about trying classes, you absolutely should give it a go.

There weren't many intermediate or advanced pole classes I could drop into at Rising Goddess (mostly seems to series over a few weeks) so I took an intermediate hammock class instead. Easy to book but bummed that the level changed from advanced starting the week I was there. I was given the grand tour when I arrived. This is a MASSIVE space! Love how many pole, aerial, and dance rooms there are, as well as a kitchen for special events. Everyone was super friendly, to the point where I had to excuse myself from conversation because I was a few minutes late to class. Oops. Audrey was the instructor, and she taught so many fun and accessible combos! Not sure when I'll be back in Oak Brook again but would love to take more classes in the future.

I love Fit4mom Dupage county! I have been a part of their community since 2019 while I was pregnant…read morewith my daughter and I continued virtually during Covid and now we are back to in person classes. I love all the instructors and mamas that I get to meet and they are always doing fun things like, moms night out, book clubs, and mom and me workouts. I would highly suggest becoming part of the community it's so much fun!

This might sound dramatic, but Fit4Mom DuPage County has saved my life in many ways! I don't know…read morehow it has taken me this long to write a review, but here is the story: Near the end of my pregnancy, all of my regular workout classes were no longer doable. I love group fitness and was struggling to find a class that there were reasonable accommodations for my current state, but I still wanted a good workout. I googled for pre-natal classes and Fit4Mom came up in my search. I found a Fit4Baby class to try out. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and understood. And then I got a great workout in! By the end of class, the owner was inviting me to her house for a St. Patrick's Day celebration. I knew then that I'd need to join the village. A few weeks later, I had my baby boy. About 4 weeks into my maternity leave, I was antsy and ready to get moving again and I remembered Fit4Mom and their wide selection of stroller classes that I could attend WITH my baby (no childcare needed)! What better way to do something for both of us while on leave? Little man and I got out of the house every day for some fresh air and a workout, which helped us develop a routine...and I met a bunch of amazing women and their kids! Everyone even supports each other when a baby or kid is crying. I had other instructors or moms offer to push my stroller around so I could keep hustling! I was bummed to go back to work for multiple reasons, and one of those was that I'd no longer get to spend my mornings with a group of women who wanted to workout, be healthy and take care of their kids! This brings me to my next phase with Fit4Mom - Boost classes & Body Back. I was ready to really start working out harder, and these classes and sessions were JUST what I needed. I have completed to Body Back sessions and have an all-access pass for unlimited classes now, and I have to say that I got into the best shape of my life this year. With the support of amazing instructors who TRULY care about you and help you reach your goals, along with the women you work out alongside each time, I've never found something that works better for me (and I have done every type of fitness, health and workout class there is)! This is so much more than just a workout. It is a lifestyle - backed by a community of amazing, non-judgmental women. I am so proud to say I am one of those women! While I am still keeping up with classes, I have also started attending more Mom's Night Outs as well. This is just the cherry on top! I've had a BLAST hanging out with these women outside of our workouts and talking over a glass of wine. This is a community who truly GETS it - being a mom and trying to do it all. We laugh, we cry, and we work our butts off when it's time to hustle. I am ever grateful for finding this community that only gets better and better! Thank you to Lesley (owner), all of the amazing instructors and to the incredible village of moms that make up Fit4Mom Dupage County. I'm so honored and grateful to have spent the last 1 year and 8 months with you....to many more ahead!
