PROS: The staff! Really their best asset is their friendly…read morestaff members who get to know you. This includes wonderful trainers who can take you from zero to hero as far as someone who NEVER works out, to someone who can develop a fitness routine. Programs: Lots of great programs like Tennis-In-No-Time, swim lessons for kids, and as I said before, great trainers you can book to achieve your personal goals. Tons of equipment to choose from in a bright, open space. Some regulars you can get to know and learn techniques from. CONS: Pool area feels too "open". Don't need peep windows all around the pool. I felt weird swimming in there so I never did. Close it off. Management change up/corporate vibe. Don't let you even hold your account for a month now (even though they used to). It's a pricey, luxury gym with clients that pay more to get more so making people jump through tons of hoops to hold a month for travel, work, etc doesn't gel with that vibe. If you give a months notice this should allow plenty of time to adjust staffing. You have to pay extra for a lot of stuff, so in order to use a lot of what really makes a gym like this worth the extra $ in the first place, you have pay EVEN MORE. Otherwise you are mostly utilizing equipment, classes, and such that you can get at other gyms for way less.

The Shot of The Week class on Saturday afternoon is fun and will cost $30 My problem is with the sales staff. The sales woman I dealt with was not professional. When I questioned price, I was a picker who did not belong. The hot high school prospect she had all night for. Guess what; I was an easier sale on the spot. From the neighborhood and would have used the club. Nice club - but Bougie.

I cannot say enough good things about this place...the trainers here are wonderful!…read more Our son was having trouble with basic playground skills. It was affecting his confidence in gym class and he was withdrawing from social play. He is 10, and a classic absent minded professor (ie introverted, intellectually gifted, and probably ADD). We knew we needed to do something, but physical fitness classes were not working. Right-Fit was an amazing find! He has been working with a one on one trainer at Right Fit (Brad...highly recommend). It's more expensive than a class, but it been worth every penny. Our son has gone from hanging out on the playground fence watching to initiating four square games, and other active play. Last year, he would have gladly come home for lunch every day, but now coming home and missing lunch/recess would be a punishment! His progress has far exceeded my expectations. I would call this an inclusive fitness facility. They serve the special needs population. And, although my son is not autistic, I think the range of kids and adults he sees happily come and go from here helped put him at ease and he felt accepted right away. All the trainers I've observed at Right Fit are not just good, they are excellent. They love what they do and the kids/clients they train!

This place rocks. And not in a "good enough for suburbia" kind of way, in a "would thrive in…read moredowntown Chicago" kind of way. The workouts are hard, very well designed, and mentally stimulating/fun. I found the studio on ClassPass and checked it out when my Shred415 classes had been used up for the month (on CP you can only go to three classes per studio per month). I have now been to three classes and they have all been excellent and very different. The classes usually involve some kind of circuit with both strength and cardio, and the place has an enormous variety of equipment so everything gets switched up. In addition to regular weights, kettlebells, bands, and lifting equipment, they also have: - Jacobs ladder - Woodway manual treadmill - Manual mode treadmill with a football pad - Ropes - Tires - Ab rollers - Bosus - TRX - Rings - Inflatable pads for instability exercises - Those terrible goddamn sleds you have to push around - Elliptical - Regular treads - Bikes - Tons of other stuff I haven't used in class yet The other thing I like about these classes is that they seem to be influenced by lots of different kinds of fitness, which means there is a lot more variety in the classes. For example, the other day we did a circuit using the ropes, jacobs ladder, and other "hard core" type movements, but then the end of the class involved a lot of Jane Fonda type leg work. In another class I took, it was 100% strength and weight training, which is a cool and unusual option in group fitness. The actual location is in a sort of half storefront, half garage location, with green turf and a track for the sleds. It's not fancy but is spacious and has a "playground" type feel. They also have a hodge podge of cheesy inspirational quotes all over the walls, which makes the place feel local. They also make sure to know and remember your name - both the friendly front desk guy and the trainers. I'm actually considering buying more classes here in addition to ClassPass because I like the workouts and the trainers so much that I want to go more than the 3X/month through ClassPass. I've been to most kinds of fitness classes - Orange Theory, SoulCycle, Flywheel, Barry's Bootcamp/Shred415, barre, pilates, yoga, CrossFit, etc., so when I say that this is a great class, I mean this is a great class by anyone's standards. Great find!

This gym offers different fitness services like personal training, youth fitness and my favorite,…read moreboot camp classes. The Boot camp classes are fantastic because no two are the same. They are mostly 1 hour classes that are challenging, but doable and sometimes are more cardio, than weights, or vice versa. They really change it up and the trainers are really nice guys that are brothers (Mike is the owner, Matt is his brother). And, on Mondays Christy is the trainer - I like the variety that she offers, too. Classes range from 1 to maybe 10 people. You can pay as you go, or be more economical and pay per month and go as many times as you want. The classes go by quickly and I always feel like I got a great work out after. I highly recommend!
