It seemed she was more pre-occupied with speaking with another attendant than speaking with me, client. With many other salons in the area, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The alpha technician in the room is named Linda, and she spends a lot of time speaking in Korean very loudly and bossing around the other technicians. I whispered to mine (who was very sweet) is she the manager ? and she gave me a quick shake of the head. But nonetheless there Linda is putting her nose in everywhere . when I went to pay with my Visa card ( I usually pay with Visa and tip in cash) , Linda shouted over "that will be a dollar more unless you pay in cash" . I was like yeah nobody does that but even if they do that, it should be 3% which should be like 45 cents , and she said, very loudly, "you no like it you can go somewhere else". I know, right? So of course I paid it without argument. And like I said, the manicure was fine, but who wants to be around that?

The women who work there are nice, but I've found the men to be a little less friendly. The pedicures in my experience feel a bit bare bones unless maybe you do one of their more premium pedicures, but I've always been happy with my manicures. I thought the manicure (uv gel fill on my natural nail) would be $58 or so based on the menu online, but it was $83. Apparently, the type of design I got costs more- cat eye/magnetic- see side by side photo collage. Didn't think to ask about the price being different than online beforehand, but that would've been nice to know upon showing them my choice of design. The guy, Jack, did mention the price to me just before he started doing my nails. The salon is spacious and seems pretty clean, although the pedicure chairs could use some updating.
