On my initial visit (consultation), Patty, medical esthetician, examined my tattoo on my ankle and estimated how many sessions it would take for results, she thoroughly explained the process and procedures. My first session went well. Prior to receiving laser removal, I met with Dr. Gregory and he numbed the area. After a few minutes, Patty and I wore goggles and she checked to make sure I was completely numbed before lasering away. After it was complete, she applied an ointment and bandage; gave me post-care instructions to take home. At home, I did not blister nor had any scarring whatsoever and my tattoo was slowly fading each day. I learned that staying hydrated helped the lymphatic system flush the ink away. I was able to go about my day as usual except Patty advised at consultation that no suntanning, no use of any self-tanner lotions, etc. is good. Therefore, I had to cover it with a band-aid or long leggings to prevent sun exposure to the lasered area. The second session was the same as the first except I requested to numb the area with an ice pack (to take the edge off) instead of the lidocaine injection and incorporated breathing techniques while receiving the laser removal. On a scale from 1-10, (having a high tolerance for pain) rated the pain level at 3. It felt like a rubber band snapping my skin. The third session is in eight weeks so this review is to be continued w/ before and after pictures. Wished Yelp had TEN stars because that's what I'd rate Sound Tattoo Removal!

The first year I did microblading (very first time, ever). Then I saw the pictures of his clients and realized how much I'd want the shading on for this time (my second time). Microblading is not permanent but does last a year to a couple/few. I was not sure I'd want to have permanent eyebrows as I got older so this option was my preferred. Arriving and setting up the appointment was quick and simple. Hien is explains all of the steps along the way. Be prepared to explain what kind of eyebrows (arch/no arch/ "korean eyebrows"). When I went to schedule my first appointment, I was told my package had expired six months after purchase -- and they given me an extension period, again which I was never informed about. Not once during my visits was I ever informed that there was an expiration, nor was this policy clearly explained when I purchased the package. These treatments are not cheap, and I would have never spent that kind of money had I known the sessions would expire. It's extremely disappointing that they won't honor what was clearly a communication mistake on their end. Denise is friendly and makes sure I'm comfortable while performing the procedure which goes very quickly on the small tattoos (thank goodness...it's bearable but not fun!). I had a couple prior appointments at a different provider in another city but have seen further improvement in the fading since seeing Denise, and her pricing is more reasonable. She is also realistic about results, no promises of things she can't deliver. I inquired about a separate aesthetic treatment and she said my skin wasn't advanced in age enough for it to make a difference, instead of taking my money and delivering sub-par results. The treatment space is private and comfortable though the lobby's a little confusing as it services a handul of different providers. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo removed I suggest getting a consultation with Denise. I was told by the person who sold me the package when I made the purchase that it would take 2-3 sessions, and then I could bank the remaining sessions for touch ups down the road. At the end of my 6th session, I was told it takes an average of 12 sessions. I was so disappointed that I was misled by the original sales rep. I felt stuck because I wasn't anticipating another large bill to finish. When I received the new bill, it was actually quite a bit more than my first 6 sessions, and I was told prices had gone up and there was nothing they could do. For the record, Jena (who manages the laser hair) is awesome, and I feel like she knew I'd been deceived. I got the sense I might not have been alone. But it seems to me like since I spent close to $2k on that initial package under the impression that was all I would need, that when I needed more sessions, they should have offered the remaining sessions at a significant discount. I never would have started if I knew they would cost that much more.

If she was actually happy with the true results of her work, she wouldn't feel the need to delete the actual pictures that aren't being taken from angles where you can't actually see a full view of both eyebrows from the front view. She didn't offer me a touch up until she saw me posting the pictures in the comments, then she text me right away. She says in her response that she was just covering up scarring, but I've never seen someone do eyebrows without giving you 2 full same length eyebrows after an original session and a touch up session.
