On my initial visit (consultation), Patty, medical esthetician, examined my tattoo on my ankle and estimated how many sessions it would take for results, she thoroughly explained the process and procedures. My first session went well. Prior to receiving laser removal, I met with Dr. Gregory and he numbed the area. After a few minutes, Patty and I wore goggles and she checked to make sure I was completely numbed before lasering away. After it was complete, she applied an ointment and bandage; gave me post-care instructions to take home. At home, I did not blister nor had any scarring whatsoever and my tattoo was slowly fading each day. I learned that staying hydrated helped the lymphatic system flush the ink away. I was able to go about my day as usual except Patty advised at consultation that no suntanning, no use of any self-tanner lotions, etc. is good. Therefore, I had to cover it with a band-aid or long leggings to prevent sun exposure to the lasered area. The second session was the same as the first except I requested to numb the area with an ice pack (to take the edge off) instead of the lidocaine injection and incorporated breathing techniques while receiving the laser removal. On a scale from 1-10, (having a high tolerance for pain) rated the pain level at 3. It felt like a rubber band snapping my skin. The third session is in eight weeks so this review is to be continued w/ before and after pictures. Wished Yelp had TEN stars because that's what I'd rate Sound Tattoo Removal!

When I went to schedule my first appointment, I was told my package had expired six months after purchase -- and they given me an extension period, again which I was never informed about. Not once during my visits was I ever informed that there was an expiration, nor was this policy clearly explained when I purchased the package. These treatments are not cheap, and I would have never spent that kind of money had I known the sessions would expire. It's extremely disappointing that they won't honor what was clearly a communication mistake on their end. I have given multiple details and documents and a doctor letter stating I was advised by my physician to hold off on lasers but the company isn't taking responsibility -- very unprofessional and not what I expected from a business in this industry. **Disagreeing with my review does not change the fact that payment was taken and services were not delivered WITH NO CLEAR COMMUNICATION ABOUT EXPIRATION. I was told by the person who sold me the package when I made the purchase that it would take 2-3 sessions, and then I could bank the remaining sessions for touch ups down the road. At the end of my 6th session, I was told it takes an average of 12 sessions. I was so disappointed that I was misled by the original sales rep. I felt stuck because I wasn't anticipating another large bill to finish. When I received the new bill, it was actually quite a bit more than my first 6 sessions, and I was told prices had gone up and there was nothing they could do. For the record, Jena (who manages the laser hair) is awesome, and I feel like she knew I'd been deceived. I got the sense I might not have been alone. But it seems to me like since I spent close to $2k on that initial package under the impression that was all I would need, that when I needed more sessions, they should have offered the remaining sessions at a significant discount. If she was actually happy with the true results of her work, she wouldn't feel the need to delete the actual pictures that aren't being taken from angles where you can't actually see a full view of both eyebrows from the front view. She didn't offer me a touch up until she saw me posting the pictures in the comments, then she text me right away. She says in her response that she was just covering up scarring, but I've never seen someone do eyebrows without giving you 2 full same length eyebrows after an original session and a touch up session.
