Studio 60 was absolutely terrific. The studio is bright and airy and it is in a cute little house. My daughter got to pick one painting to do and it was very difficult for her to pick one because they have a variety of paintings to choose from. The party was scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30. I provided food and cake and the studio provided me with juice boxes, water, paper plates and napkins. The kids had a blast, they all got to take their master piece home and my daughter got to take a canvas with all of her guests hand prints on it. The birthday party was a success, it was very different from the other parties we have had, it was laid back and relaxing. They played kids bop music in the background while the artists painted, at one point the girls made it into a dance party. I am extremely happy with the service that was provided to me and my daughter. They provide classes throughout the month, they have a calendar online and they offer adult classes too. Kids love the teacher(s)/owner(also main teacher). owner is responsible and does care about the students. 3. Kid is able to focus on the project 4. Kid is able to perform and finish good work from very first project. 5. Kid is proud for her/himself, parents too. I am not really an art person, so I am not able to judge how exactly the technique kid obtains or how much they improve precisely, but I feel it worth it. Not sure if they can manage everything perfectly when it scales up with more teachers, so far so good.

I came here last night for a private birthday event where I throughly enjoyed my experience. Unfortunately, I forgot our instructors name but he did great. Especially, for a party of 9. He was patient and extremely helpful in his coaching. All together we made about 5 pieces of clay and at the end of the event we got to pick our favorite piece we made. You put you name, phone number, and email on the piece and I guess in a week or so after it is painted and glazed it will be available for pickup. If you're interested in pottery I would highly recommend them. They have 4-8 week classes available and for what I saw the classes are fairly affordable! There was a table for gifts and a table for snacks and drinks. We had an attendant that got the kids set up with the tools and paints they needed. The kids got to pick from really cute pieces to paint. We had the from for 1:45 but since there was no party booked after ours we got sit in there for two hours. My daughter had a great time and I would recommend them as a place to have a party. I wish that they would have written Happy Birthday on the chalk board in the room though. It was just a loose idea, and I need someone to help with executing it and didn't know where to start. When I looked up a few artists in the area, I found Dottie's website and loved the work I saw. I reached out to her, and felt so confident she was the right person just by taking to her. She is so pleasant and communicates well. She offered to help me with learning to paint/painting this gift myself, but because I wouldn't be in town, she happily painted what I needed on my canvas and had it ready before the deadline. The painting turned out INCREDIBLE! I am blown away by her talent, and her ability to put what I imagined onto a canvas.
