For me service was excellent. If the British wish to pretend that Charlie Mops (rhymes with barley hops) invented beer, let them. (We know it was probably invented in the middle east about 13,000 years ago). For now, I'll accept that Charlie Mops is a cool place just north of the Michigan Line, where I can get a great burger and a beer (and play a few games of Dig Dug). 4 to 5 stars!! I'll be back.

The side of ranch dressing was perfect. The condiments were served in small plastic containers, which were a reminder that this was great food in a bar and grill. Since my entree was a special that was verbally announced, I didn't know the price until I saw the bill. While it was delicious, I found the $41 charge a bit steep. I think they should have duplicated my initial order given my trouble in having to spend my time and gas money (especially these days) to return to the restaurant for my correct order. But they only gave me the correct Turkey Reuben without fresh fries and without a side of Thousand Island Dressing. I was too annoyed to even raise these issues, as I hadn't eaten all day and just wanted to go home and have a warm sandwich- even with cold fries.
