We purchased a new Cedar Creek silver back IH 35 fifth wheel wheel in (2018) . Had problems about one month later with the front jacks dropping when driving. No we have a problem with the decals. They (forest river) sent me new ones for the front and sent me to a local Forest River plant where I live and they installed the new decals. Did a great job. Now we have both sides of the fifth wheel decals pealing (they look like hell) for a 65,000 dollar fifth wheel. Called and spoke with the same manager who took care of the first decals, but pretty much said tough luck on these. Clearly the same people installed all the decals. Pretty poor service for such a high end fifth wheel. I am going peal the rest of the crappy decals off, and put on there, to NEVER PURCHASE A CEDAR CREEK FIFTH WHEEL. I refuse to give exposure to Forest River and Cedar Creek. Too bad....

We purchased a 2021 Cherokee 294rr vin 4X4TCK32XMX147198 in January 2021. Upon purchase and use of the camper we have had issues. The first big issue was with the entry door. On our third use of this unit it began splitting at the bottom corner and would not close or open properly. It took 7 weeks for us to get a new door put on under warranty. The week we got the door fixed, we took a trip and hauled our 853 lb 2020 Harley Davidson Roadglide special in the back. The toy hauler is rated to haul 2000lbs. Upon arriving home from the trip and preparing to unload the motorcycle, we discovered that the back tire of the motorcycle had broken through the subfloor. We immediately called camping world to initiate a warranty claim for this repair. After weeks of waiting we were contacted by our camping world tech and advised that Forest River had denied our claim. They stated that Forest River believes that the motorcycle was in motion when the damage occurred and it looks like someone "popped a wheelie" while trying to load the bike. (Yeah, they really said that) I took it upon myself to call Maddison at Forest River to explain what happened and find out why the claim was denied. She told me that the motorcycle was in transit when the damage occurred therefore it is the customers fault and no fault of the builder. I advised her again, the bike was stationary and the camper was in transit behind our Silverado, which was in motion. (Newtons laws of motion, seriously) Of course the bike was in transit! The 835 lb stationary motorcycle was strapped down in the back of the toy hauler, rated for 2000 lbs, being hauled by a Chevy Silverado! Anyways, after speaking to Maddison she agreed to resubmit my claim for approval after denial. One week later, our claim is denied again. This is no way fault of the customer and the subfloor of our toy hauler should have never broken through with an 835 lb Harley.

I am not satisfied with the owner of International RV Dave's explanation of the quality of the…read morerubber roof replacement that I received. The repair job is very low quality with poor workmanship and wont last. Dave told me that there's nothing wrong with it. I've been in construction for 40 years and I know quality when I see it and when I don't. Wrinkles, debris and splinters covered up, overlaying of materials over old materials, sloppy sealant applied and glue on the painted fiberglass cap. Walking on slide outs and using them as scaffolding. Boot prints, dirt and glue residue left on slide out roofs and new roof, AC units were not re-installed correctly. The front ac had the fan obstructed so it wouldn't turn and both units had the duct work smashed and inoperable. I want my deductible and Indiana Farm Bureau's money refunded so I can have the repairs done properly somewhere else. I paid Joey's RV Service to inspect the roof and to write up an estimate and they indicated that it's even worse than I thought. I was shown at Joey's what a beautiful and professional re-roof job looks like. Not only is there debris under the rubber roof membrane but the luan ply-wood sheathing is splintered from the removal of the old roof and has likely already punctured pin holes in the new roof in areas due to the ridiculously thin rubber membrane they installed. Overlaying of the old luan ply-wood sheathing with new is recommended to provide a new surface for the new rubber roofing, something they don't care about. The Metal Radius Edge moldings that run full length of the roof on both sides wasn't fastened down properly and will tear the rubber roof in time. The old front termination molding on the fiberglass cap wasn't removed and a new molding was installed right on top and sealer applied over both very sloppily and thin in places. The fiberglass cap has a large area where glue was sprayed on the paint and not cleaned. There are scratches in the paint on the cap, one large scratch from one side to the other and more vertical scratches.

To whom it may concern, Prior to purchasing an RV I called…read moreseveral RV repair shops and simply asked them which brands they would recommend to buy based on which ones were the easiest to work on and broke down the least. Heartland was often recommended and the brand we chose to purchase. We shopped around and had to choose between two dealers. We chose Lakeshore RV because they were giving us the same deal on a 2019 as the other dealer was for a 2018. I explained to our agent that we were travel nurses and had two dogs and a parrot. We came up with an agreed upon delivery date. Several weeks later I was informed that the RV would be shipping out several weeks later than agreed upon. She was ultimately able to arrange for a delivery date that worked better for us as it is very difficult to find temporary housing with so many animals.... Hence our choice to purchase an RN. I also discussed with her that we had no experience with RVs and she guaranteed me that the man delivering it would teach us the basics of setting it up and that he had done this many times before. When it arrived the man delivering it informed us that he was in a rush as he had another delivery to make. He had us look over the RV and sign the paper saying it was delivered, as it should be. About 1 minute after he left we found a spot on the back garage where he had clearly hit something yellow. We immediately had him come back to see the damage. He denied that he had done this and said that in the 1 minute he was gone we must have done it. At that point we owned one red car and one black truck and did not yet even own a hitch to move the RV making it impossible for us to have caused that damage. We also asked him to give us a quick walk through of the unit and how to hook it up as I had discussed with April Welch. He chuckled and said he had no idea how to set up an RV and that his job was to deliver it and put the two front legs down to unhitch it from his truck. That was Sunday and we started a new job Monday morning. It took us several days to get the water and electric hooked us and to understand the dump systems. As we were on west coast time and not getting out of work till 5p we were unable to get any help from the dealership. One of our neighbors helped us hook up our water after work one day. Once we did it began spewing water from behind the hook up. We needed to take the entire panel off and tighten all the screws and fittings. We then got calls from our neighbors on two separate days that they had to turn off our water while we were at work because we had water overflowing from the underbelly of the RV. Once we took it all apart again we found that the fitting connecting the hot water heater to the RV wasn't secure and was allowing well over 100 gallons of water to spew into the underbelly of our RV. Next we had a leak in the toilet that cost a couple of hundred dollars to fix and after that our garage AC stopped working in the middle of a New Mexico summer. We then started working with Adam Batson to get the AC fixed. After 2 months of sending him pictures of what we needed fixed several times we finally got the AC delivered. We had the RV repairmen at the RV to fix the AC, slide valves in our dump tanks, and the water selector switch. They quickly noticed they sent us the wrong AC. They called Domedic who told us that if we could get authorization they had a warehouse not far from where we now were in LA and that we could return the old AC and pick up the correct one. We were unable to get Adam to do this because it was 5:00p his time and he couldn't start working on it until at least Monday. We had to wait several weeks and again repetitively sending parts pictures and pictures of bar codes before getting the correct part several months later. Once we got an RV technician to install the new AC he said the old one had stopped working because when it was installed the freeze sensor wasn't in the coil/fins as it should have been causing the compressor to run too long and not shut down when it should and thus shortening the life of the compressor. We had also begun having water leaking from under our sink and had two repair men not know where the leak was coming from. The leak caused all of the wood and wood paneling around the kitchen sink to rot and need to be replaced. After daily calls to Adam and sending him pictures several times we were finally able to get the parts. Then after our move we arrived and the couches in the garages were both flat against the sides of the RV. The metal on the happy jack lifts had bent allowing them to once again fall during our move. I called Adam who told me that Happy Jack would not authorize to replace the part. I got the happy jack information from him. I explained to the man there what had happened and he asked me if there were pins in the couches to secure the couches and prevent them from falling. I told him that when we received the RV the couches were down and that there were no pins
