There was a very tall man working in the shrub area who approached me for help and showed me exactly what I came for and explained how to take care of it. He also pointed out that they have a one year guarantee on their perennials for one price or you could pay the lower fee and take the plant as is. The snag I ran into with my family was how rude the front end staff was. We were glared at and not greeted. Then when it was time to cash out my mom asked one of the cashiers if she was open. The cashier rolled her eyes made a face and said yeah as though the last thing she wanted to do was cash us out. Her attitude was incredibly rude and disgusting!! The cashier that cashed me out wasn't much better. She didn't take the time to explain the difference between the 1yr guarantee and the as is price she just charged me the higher price without regard. Over all it's a great store for all of your planting needs they just need some customer service support intervention ASAP!! I would go again. I just hope the front end staff is nicer!

Located between Mooresville and Monrovia on SR42 (when you can get passed the road construction, we were out looking for somethings for our patio a. The signage for the business is set back from the road, so don't speed by too quickly or you might miss it. When we pulled in, they have several buildings set up with hardware and planting aids. Lots of flowers and pots were available outside for you to browse at your leisure. In the back are lots of types of mulch to choose from and along the east side of the parking lot, plenty of stone for landscaping to look over too. Inside the multi level sheds, the experience was similar to browsing most plant centers and hardware stores. Help was available, but left customers to browse unless approached. My wife had something in mind and though they didn't carry it there, one of the staff mentioned another business a couple miles away that might be able to help. I like businesses helping each other especially local owned places. My wife also got some ideas for our sun room inspired by some of the items they had on hand. There didn't seem to be anything that gave us a "wow" moment, but it looked to be a decent place to check out if you are in the area and support an independent place instead of a big box store. It is a little off the beaten track, located near Tony Stewart's elaborate estate west of Columbus. Not too many flowers, but lots of shrubs, bushes, hedges, etc, at reasonable prices. The business is part of a vertically integrated landscaping concern run by an over-educated gentleman named Dean, although the nursery is run by a friendly and knowledgeable manager named Kim. She is a font of ideas and suggestions, and if you bring photos of your garden and house she is more than willing to get you going. This is about as non-corporate as it gets, and the selection is way more diverse than the big box stores. The shrubs are grown and tended with care, and are guaranteed healthy--you can replace anything that doesn't survive. If you want great service with a personal touch, you can't go wrong here. If you're growing from seed, you should be able to fine *something* to help you get started here. Pots, fertilizer, soil, tools, etc. are all readily available and reasonably priced. If you don't have the patience or the inclination for starting from seed, there are plenty of seedlings available. Personally, I was impressed by the chocolate mint and culinary lavender. Everyone was friendly and helpful, happy to answer my questions and help make selections. I'll be back.
