Gary Greenhouse located on Bluff Road. This is a large garden center with much more to see behind main greenhouse.

Gary Greenhouse is located right on Bluff Road and very easy to find east of Epler. Gary and Melinda, the owners, have a Main Greenhouse with several more located directly behind the main parking lot. Additional parking is located on side of shop so don't be nervous if front parking is taken...just pull straight through. Beautiful, plentiful, with an enormous selection of gardening needs from friendly folks where you'll become a regular. You'll find acres of green for you to select from whether flowers, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, or garden rocks are the goal of your day. Wear comfortable shoes if you want to visit all the greenhouses and plants located around them. You walk as much or little as you care to with annuals in the main greenhouse just steps from your car. Their Spring Open House is April 27-28, 2013 from 9-5 each day. Grab a free hot dog while you're browsing. Be sure to drop in.

It's sad that it's limited to look around due to covid. Do plants get covid? Why not out everything outdoor?

Last year 2024 in October I purchased several plants and shrubbery that did not survive the winter. Most nurseries, including Lowe's, Home Depot and Menards offer at least a one year warranty on the plants and shrubbery that they sell. This morning I called and spoke with Nick who was less than friendly, subpar less than subpar customer service. He was condescending, rude and arrogant to say the least. I've advised my landscaper of the situation and will never use this company for any future plants and shrubbery. I asked specifically for someone in management to contact me about this issue and no one ever did. Do not use this company if you want a company that will honor their product and has integrity.

I called this business recently because they were recommended to me as a nursery that had practically anything and everything I might be looking for. I was looking for a particular tree, and was very hopeful and excited that they could possibly help me, because no other plant nursery in the Indy / metro area seemed to have the tree. Unfortunately, when I called, I quickly found out they are wholesale only. They only deal with businesses and not the general public (retail). Big Bummer. I suppose the person who told me about them didn't know about that critical piece of info. The woman who answered the phone said that businesses can apply online to get a free account with them. I can only assume that depending on what type of business is applying for an account, her explanation of the application process, appeared somewhat extensive/scrutinizing, persnickety, and arduous. As she explained: 'it might take a few days to confirm/verify references for the account to be cleared and approved.' Regardless,..... My search and quest continues,....

I love walking into a nursery with flowers everywhere and big, beautiful hanging baskets…read moresurrounding me. McCammon's Irish Market is just that. Flats of annual flowers, hanging baskets, perennials, shrubs, trees, landscape supplies and lawn ornaments are plentiful here. McCammon's is laid out well and items are easy to find. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and was comfortable making recommendations. They offer many services such as irrigation, construction, landscaping and tree removal. We were there searching for a special type and size of tree. They had what my friend wanted, and they deliver and plant, but the prices were much higher than two other nurseries we'd already been to. We decided to pass on the trees but we did find 2 lawn oraments to purchase. The prices are a bit higher but the quality is worth a little more. I didn't purchase my hanging baskets because of price since I knew I can purchase the baskets for less at another nursery. Love the selection, quality of flowers, the color combination of the baskets and the helpful staff.

The bush died that I purchased from them, hosta was never moved, they order the wrong bricks. Last word was they were going to contact me when they found what I wanted. Never got that call. This has been 2 years. I will not refer anyone to this company. The end results I have to pay someone to fix the problem. That means more expense. I should have hired a jack leg worker. I'm sorry that I believed their commercial.

I'm thinking I'm just going to purchase a snake plant. And I was introduced to the ZZ plant that is also very low maintenance but absorbs a variety of toxins. The young person that helped me told me that they also got the plant for their grandmother during her battle with cancer. He also steered me away from peace Lillies because we didn't want to give funeral vibes. It was a beautiful experience and I ended up getting her 2. A large one for the room and one right by her on her night stand. He went above and beyond nagging sure I got the most full plants with great color. Top notch experience and we've got to support local businesses!!

The owner was extremely welcoming when I entered and engaged me in conversation. This is primarily a store for plants and flowers so while I couldn't carry anything on a plane ride, there was a nice selection. The owner was knowledgeable about plants and helped me to remember a plant that I wanted. Plus they had plant accessories too. This place also had beverages (non alcoholic) and gifts in general to accent the home. Definitely not a once stop shop but a cute selection to ponder. Definitely a place to visit
