They were recommended from another electrician who was booked out for 6-months. The big install was the installation of a Generac stand-by generator last October 2021. When Costco and other vendors couldn't find a stand-by generator for at least 3-4 months, Grotberg Electric was able to locate one and installed it in one day. The install was first rate and the customer service was 5-STAR. Over the past two days, we had power outages due to high winds. In both cases, the stand-by generator kicked-on as soon as the outage occurred and cut-off as soon as power was restored. The generator turned-off literally seconds before my text alert from Avista arrived to notify me that power was restored. I recommend Mike and his team at Grotberg without hesitation, and I give them my highest rating.

He also quoted for additional work that was never done and not needed. He charged my father in law over 16k. I maybe wrong but I do believe my father in law should not have been billed for their mistake and hours spent on their mistake. When asked to speak with Dan regarding the over billing he was unprofessional and refused. Instead he made his worker come collect payment in full. His workers Brian and Jason we absolutely amazing. Thank goodness the owner Dan has them because based on my experience with Dan the owner his unprofessionalism and over billing and lack of concern is appalling.

Ineffective Service, Exorbitant Charge for Nothing, and Management Ignores Customers…read more I regret calling Raptor Rooter & Plumbing LLC for a serious plumbing issue in mid-November 2025. Water was backing up from a basement floor drain in my South Hill Spokane home, creating a messy and urgent situation. Technician Brandon arrived and, after I described the recurring problem in detail, tested the drain by running water. He then briefly ran a cable snake only about 2 feet into the drain and stopped. He provided no diagnosis, no explanation for the backup, and admitted he didn't have a camera scope on hand--which likely would have revealed the root cause. After roughly 45 minutes, he left without resolving anything. I was shocked to be billed $462 for this unproductive visit. Hoping for some accountability, I left a message two days later for General Manager Chris, asking him to call me about Brandon's service. It's now January 7, 2026--nearly two months later--and Chris has never bothered to return my call, showing a complete lack of integrity or concern for customer satisfaction. Fortunately, I found a reputable plumbing company in the area. Their general manager and team were responsive, thorough, and fixed the problem permanently. Raptor Rooter's work was inadequate, their follow-through appalling, and their overall integrity horrendous. Save yourself the frustration and money--I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE for work beyond attaching a garden hose.
